My son has been asking for Fifa for ages, we were a bit dubious if he would be able to play it as we feared may be a bit complex but on the easy mode he manages absolutely fine and it will obviously grow with him. Graphics are really good. Overall great game

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Users8yr old son loves the game, it was the only thing he wanted for his birthday.

Graphics are great, he loves watching the goal celebrations and replays. He only uses it to play matches. My husband has used the career function which is, in general good, but a few glitchy aspects ie manager appears to hate you no matter what, and if you get injured, you have to manually sit through each day until you are fit again which is boring.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersEA Sports FC24 on the Nintendo Switch is a game-changer for football enthusiasts. After years of anticipation, the game finally delivers a complete and authentic experience that rivals its counterparts on other consoles. The introduction of the Frostbite engine breathes new life into the gameplay, offering smooth dribbling and satisfying passing mechanics that make each match a delight.
The visual overhaul is impressive, with updated player faces and managers adding to the realism. Ultimate Team mode has been revamped, providing a fresh and engaging challenge. Whether you’re playing handheld or docked, FC24 offers a seamless football experience that’s perfect for gaming on the go.
EA Sports has outdone themselves with FC24, making it an easy recommendation for any Switch owner looking to enjoy the beautiful game in all its glory

No lag, worked well. Only complaint is it took some time to download full version from the cloud, instead of loading as soon as I put the game card in.

This game doesn’t really disappoint it is enjoyable to play and will be a top game for a whole year the only criticism I have is that there is no league table only individual matches but if you’re a football fan and you like previous games by e.a sports then I do recommend it…

I have this game on PS5 and also Switch. For once, the Switch version misses out on nothing in features. It’s a brilliant addition to the sports section of the hand-held and not just a team update like previous versions have been. This is the FIFA Switch gamers have wanted for years, it’s just now called FC and not FIFA.

My son absolutely loves this game. Having had almost every fifa game on the Nintendo switch platform. I can confidently say he’s not disappointed with this iteration of the popular game

I brought this as a gift for my 11 year old – and now I never see him haha
He loves the game so much, even roped me into playing a couple of times.
It’s easy to navigate, and the graphics look great!

Love it. Finally a new improved fifa for Nintendo. I mean you won’t get the graphics of a pc version or ps5, but we aren’t here for that. I haven’t experienced any bugs.. I am sure there are, but top quality game. Thank you fc 24.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFor the first port of “FIFA” to Switch that uses actual Frostbite, it’s a good start.

I chose to get on Switch because it was the full experience on handheld (I have PC and PS5 as other options), and considering the hardware it’s running on it’s great. For me on my OLED, it’s basically rock-solid 30 fps, which is perfectly playable for me, but I understand why it wouldn’t be for others.

If you hook it up to a relatively modern TV, you’ll get motion smoothing so most of the gameplay will look “60 fps” anyway.

In handheld mode, there are some graphical cuts, sometimes causing hilarious Minecraft-esque crowd models, and the menus are a little slow, but docked both of these issues aren’t present. The slightly sluggish handheld experience is why it drops a star for me.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersThis is a HUGE improvement on Fifa 19-23.

All the same features and gameplay modes as the bigger consoles and a stable engine and appears to be plenty of people playing online modes.

There is no cross compatibility so you can only play other Switch players. Although it always says thousands of players online you can spend a lot of time waiting in lobby’s “searching for game”.

Gameplay is good for the Switch although when compared to PS5 standards it does feel a bit slower.

Compared to the last 5 titles we’ve had in switch, this one is fantastic.

Game has full blown ultimate team finally which is great blast to play.

    Engine overall, different gameplay

    Cons are
    – it runs at 30fps
    – cutscenes for transfers in career mode lag
