After using cotton buds and ignoring my mums comment of never putting anything that your elbow in your ear, I had an accident so wanted an alternative.
A colleague suggest these, whilst I can’t get on with the screw facility, it might be just my ears. But the tools it comes with are a god send the whisk attachment and scrapers are just what I need and my ears feel great.
Products work really well. Didn’t know it came with other items to help with cleaning ears so that was a bonus. Ears feel a lot cleaner now using this rather than using just normal cotton buds
Bought for my husband as he just wasn’t getting rid of wax with cotton buds, removed a lot initially, however on day 2 he asked me to do it, and I thought, yeah I can do this… I gagged!
However, I would recommend as an ear clearer, just NEVER help your spouse!
I haven’t regretted it at all. If you think about it; a Q-tip is a small stick with some cotton wool & after using it, one sees yellow wax. Depending on how deep & hard you push, it can actually feel very painful & possibly even damage the ear drum. This cannot happen with the ear wax remover because it’s made of soft silicon & it cannot penetrate deep into the ear no matter how hard you push. If a Q-tip removes wax, then this little screwlike gadget will definitely get it out a lot easier. I have used it several times & only the one time did I actually see a residue of wax on the silicon head. When I saw that nothing was coming out, I used a Q-tip too just to see if my ears did have wax in them. It was completely clean, cotton bud was white & not yellow…so when you see nothing on the silicon head, don’t think that it’s not working, it just means that the remover has done its job & will remove the wax again the next time the residue has built. The only time I now use Q-tips is to dry my ears after washing my hair or anytime water may get into them.
