The husband has recently taken up golf again after a few years and found he was struggling to get his swing right. This is such a great price and he says it has really helped him. He was going to suggest it to his golfer friends but has decided against it as he’s winning at the moment! A great Christmas present for the golfer in your life!
Master your swing by being able to see your swing impact on this golf mat.
Perfect for practice and seeing how your swing pattern is.
Complete with everything but the club to get you started I think this mat is a great practice accessory especially for beginners.
No issues with this product and highly recommended
A good fair price of 18.99 as well. Bargai
I haven’t had as much practice time with this as I’d like due to injury, but I’m impressed with it so far – less so with my swing, which clearly needs work as this mat has highlighted a series of inconsistencies with my swing and stance, but that’s what it’s supposed to do, of course. The mat is a good size (50cm x 25cm) and around 1cm thick. It comes with 4 plastic pegs for securing it to turf and two strips of double-sided Velcro, should you want to secure it to a fixed spot indoors. The pegs sit proud by about 1cm but don’t get in the way – unless your swing is WAY off.
You also get three dense foam golf balls – presumably for indoor use – but I haven’t used these as I don’t want to introduce any more variables into my practice, so I use this outdoors with my regular golf balls.
You also get a carabiner to attach it to your golf bag, but I don’t see the point in this. I’d much rather have a small bag to roll it all into when not in use, but you don’t get a bag with it, which means you have to store the pegs and balls elsewhere in your bag, which I don’t love.
The mat claims it will last for up to 5,000 swings – but based on my swing – which was once described as “like watching a beheading” – I don’t think it will last quite that long. I’d say I’ve had around 50 swings on it, and I haven’t caused it to shed any scales yet, but time will tell.
In summary, this is a handy training tool, and I think it represents good value for money, so I’m happy to recommend it to golfers of all levels.
When it comes to golf, anything that can help you improve accuracy is welcomed. I didn’t know what to expect from this at first, but after a few swings, I soon got the idea.
Being able to visibly see where your hooks and slices occur, really helps to hone in on those imperfections. I like that it works as well inside as outside with the included velcro and spike fixings. The fact that it came with soft foam practice balls was also a bonus.
I don’t know how the “reset” works, but it’s brill. Just use your club or foot to brush backwards and the mark disappears ready for the next shot.
Overall I really liked this product and can see the benefits it would offer to help me to better my game.
On first inspection, I thought the mat may be a little small and perhaps a little “gimmicky” – but when I tried it. It’s genius! It’s made of reversible sequins that fold over as you swing through the mat. Very simple – but very effective. The lines show how you are swinging/striking which is very helpful and it will help you adjust your stance and/or swing no matter what club you choose. It’s a simple idea – but extremely effective. The longevity may be questionable, as there are already a few marks appearing but only time will tell.
There are fixing pegs if you set it up on grass which will keep it nice and flat – but even if you take it to the range it will definitely help the new golfer starting out – or somebody wanting to improve their ball striking.
Comes with a few sponge practice balls which you can use in a (decent size) garden, although I haven’t tried those out yet.
Overall – this is a really good training aid.
I have just recently taken up golf and have had some trouble keeping my shots straight. This product has been great for helping me practice this. The intelligent design shows the direction of my swing once iv hit the ball. From the helpful instruction sheet you get with the product I was able to identify that I’m constantly hooking the ball. So am now watching videos to fix this. The product can be used inside and outside (pegs for outside and velcro transfer tape for inside) meaning I can practice my swing whatever the weather. Three soft balls are also included which was good as it means I wont be putting any windows out. The only thing that lets the product down however is the inside attachment method once you have stuck it down you cant really move it anywhere else as it looses its adhesion meaning there’s not really much stability on the product when swinging. I would recommend that if you are going to use it inside that you keep it in the same place like a garage or some place like that.
Overall I would recommend this product as its being a very useful tool that iv used to improve my game.
I ordered the Edenarch Golf Training Mat For Swing Path Detection | Golf Training Aid For Indoor & Outdoor | Analyse Swing Path & Correct Stance & Posture | Golf Gift Accessories For Beginners | UK Based Company.
A great golf improvement tool which my husband has found really helps. This would be a perfect gift for a golfer. The set is great for beginners.
At the time of reviewing this product was priced at 18.99.
I would recommend this product.
This is actually really helpful for us amateurs, when trying to gauge your swing and how you strike the ball. At first we tried this using the supplied soft golf balls, but then tried it with our golf net, and real golf balls, to get a better feel for how we strike the ball. It works really well although I suspect those who play better wouldn’t need something like this mat. For us mere mortals, this is fun and does, I feel help.
The only issue I had was that the pegs don’t go down all the way, so they stick up where the club will come down to strike. Also, after just a few shots, the metal ring, around the hole, tore away to reveal the mat’s real weakness.
For getting ideas of how you swing a club, this is a good choice. Not a bad price eithe
The Edenarch Golf Training Mat has proven to be a great tool for improving my swing. Its swing path detection technology provides accurate feedback, allowing me to pinpoint areas of improvement. It highlights both the strengths and weaknesses of my swing, helping me refine my technique over time. The mat’s durability and portability make it a convenient addition to my practice routine. While it may take some time to get used to interpreting the feedback, the learning curve is well worth the results.
Received this and unrolled it from the box and stuck it down on the carpet (without the included velcro) and it seemed to stay in spot just fine, although it does try and slightly curl up due to being rolled up in the box.
It comes with ground hooks also, for outdoor use which is a plus.
The mat itself is done using a set of sequins which flip on impact and change colour to show where you’re making contact with the ground and instantly lets you see any flaws in your strike.
For a beginner golfer like me and living in Scotland where the sunnier weather can be harder to come by to get outdoors, it’s a great way to practice my swing indoors and get some practice in.
I’ve used this for a day or two now and it’s still holding up well. It’s hard to say how much life you’ll get out of these as I imagine being struck with a piece of metal over and over again is going to wear it down, but for now I’m very pleased with the product and would recommend it to anyone with impact issues.
I like that the product comes with a variety of ways to secure the mat to the floor. Very helpful for different situations I want to practice in. The mat is easy enough to reset following each swing and the material feels strong enough for plenty of use! Very happy overall!
Having been useless at golf swings all my live, I decided to give this a go.
I dont think I will put enough time into getting better, however this did a fantastic job at showing me how bad my swing really is!
Such a simple but great idea, and it reminds me of those tops you can buy with the same design.
Durable and will be useful for people wanting to actually improve in their own garden or even indoors.
Recommended.
Thought this be a great training aid for my son and I to work with. Great for showing instant feedback on the swing path and strike location. I had little hope that the sequins would stay on after a full swing, but to my surprise, it has held up remarkably well. It came with spikes for the grass and velcro to stick to the floor. I am looking forward to working with it over the next few weeks to try and improve my swing path more in to out. So far so good
What the greatest first impressions smaller than I thought and doesn’t really look hardwaring
However I am suitably impressed first it rolls out quite well even the enrolled up for so long you get three indoor practice balls it can be on hook if you want to attach it to your bag really like that if you want to use it in the garden you get four steaks brilliant and even give you some velcro tape if you want to put it on board and use it on a laminate floor or something brilliant
Really love the way it tells me how I’m swinging my club because as soon as the club hits the mat it brushes all the little round discs the other way showing a white surface which clearly shows against the green background of the rest of discs which way you’re swinging your club brilliant for me it’s a game changer very happy highly recommend
Works pretty well. Gives great feedback on low point and path. The only issue I see is usability. It really needs to be anchored down to the ground to avoid it flying off, which isn’t really possible at a driving range where I feel it would have most benefit. It does come with pegs to anchor it on grass but then of course you need a net etc. For now I’ve been using it in the living room with the supplied foam balls. It stays down pretty well on laminate floor so there’s not really a need to anchor it but I am only hitting small pitch shots. If you have the ability to put it on hard floor in a permanent position then it does come with double sided tape which will help keep it in place.
The material is essentially sequins, the type that you see on t-shirts with changeable designs. Some of the sequins can get stuck the wrong way but are easily turned around. This is different to the fabric type that you see on the market.
Overall it’s a useful tool to practice your low point and get instant feedback. Strike is king so if you can improve this then you’ll lower your handicap.
