This camera did what it was supposed to do. No special drivers were needed, and it was immediately recognised by my Windows 11 PC. This is a fixed focus camera, which I did not realise. It is not easy to change the lens, or adjust the focus as the lens has been glued in place. However, it is not that difficult to cut away the glue, and then you can mess around with the focus and even change the M12 lens. I am using mine for close up examination of PCBs, and with a new lens, it works really well. If you keep the standard lens, that it was shipped with, it works great as a webcam.
Great quality camera. Being used in a DIY CNC project I am making. Interfaces well with Raspberry Pi 4, great quality and pickup even in low light conditions. Tested also with USB on mac, works without any drivers. Very happy.
Plug and Play
You don’t need a driver for this just plug it into a usb port
You do need to install it where you want it though. I’ve used it on my 3d printer
It’s pretty simple to use and operate from a pc or laptop
