I purchased this camera for a specific task. One of my kitchen drawers was jammed very nearly shut because a utensil had lifted up and was catching on the surrounding wood. The only access was a tiny hole, which this camera just fitted into. Once I could see exactly what was causing the jam I was able to make a bent wire tool to fit through the same hole to move the obstruction out of the way. Result!
One star removed due to the not very bright LED light but otherwise all good. Depth of field is also great … From a few mm up to quite a few 10s of cm was all in focus.

First of all, I should say that I do not have any other inspection cameras to compare this one too. But I did have a crisis with the drains at my house and having this turned out to be massively helpful. I could soon see where the problem was and although I needed a professional to fix the problem. I could direct him exactly to where the problem was. That was with drainage and another issue. It has been helpful with his insulation. You can see into all kinds of tiny gaps. It helps you to know what to do and perhaps even more. It helps you stop getting ripped off by people like insulation salesman.

This is absolutely brilliant, what an invention.
It’s ever so easy to use, set up with an app on your phone… The instructions are clear and precise, very easy to follow.
And the camera quality is brilliant considering it’s such a tiny camera!

What a brilliant bit of kit, very intuitive to use with clear concise instructions the quality really knocked me away considering this was all connected to my phone. Who needs bulky stand alone inspection cameras these days? Build quality seems good and it held up to being rammed through my cars coolant system giving great images along the way.

Easy to download app via QR code, works great on my android with crystal clear pictures.
You never know how much you need a endoscope until you try 1.
This gives you excellent picture quality and a great rrp

I had a solar array installed on my roof. Damage was done to roof felt & I needed to check some hard to reach places for damage. This tool served the purpose exactly.

My husband and I have been using this in connection to some DIY work we are doing around the house and inspecting some hard to reach areas. Iside drains being one example.

It shows things in great detail, with really clear footage which is vital.

It’s very easy to use and the camera can be manipulated into working into some very tight places.

Looking at the footage on my phone whilst my husband uses it has proven to be really easy and affective.

I found the set up process easy for this endoscope. The chord is quite long and different add-ons are helpful in different scenarios. I used the hook to fetch a broken piece of internal lock from the frame of a uPVC door. The video quality is good and the app is easy to use. All came well packed in a box.
Overall a good endoscope to have, at pretty nice price of 23.99 (with additional 4 off as vouchers)

This digital endoscopic camera works really well and is so handy for inspecting hard to reach places. Connecting it to my phone was a breeze. Once I’d downloaded the app it simply worked, withjvery basic controls and the ability to take a photo.

So far it has proved to be a handy device to have, allowing me to inspect areas I simply couldn’t access without it.

    Overall a fantastic device. Recommended.

My house has been renovated before we purchased it, and the holes for the spotlights in the living room don’t seem to align with wherever the junction is in the ceiling as I assume it is where the ceiling rose used to be. This endoscope has been a life saver as I have been able to take out a spot light, one at a time and use the endoscope to survey the cavity until I found the original electrical junction. This has meant I only needed to cut the one hole in the ceiling and not lots via trial and error. Therefore it saved a fortune in time and materials. The endoscope itself comes with a selection of tips for different purposes, it has a ring of LEDs on the end which can have the brightness controlled by a dial on the control box, and also a couple of different USB connectors so it will work with micro USB, USB type C and apple connector. Setup is super easy on android, as you plug in, install the app as prompted and its up and running.

4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for figuring out the wiring in my ceiling before I started cutting holes.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is an excellent device that’s easy to deploy and simple to operate.
A reliable app must be downloaded to an Android or iOS smartphone, which then starts automatically as soon as the camera cable is plugged into the phone’s charging socket.
The app screen shows what the camera sees and both stills and video can be recorded. The 4.8-metre cable has a USB-C plug, but two adaptors are supplied in the kit to adapt to micro-USB or iPhone sockets. The other end of the cable contains the wide-angle lens plus an 8-LED lamp to illuminate dark cavities. The electronics inside the lens render a high-definition image of 1920×1440 resolution with a 70-degree viewing angle.
There’s a small hand controller built in to the cable near the phone plug. This has a button for operating the camera shutter, and a small wheel for turning on the lamp and changing its brightness. The cable between the phone plug and controller is very flexible, whilst the remaining cable is stiff for pushing into pipes and tight spaces, but bendable to get around corners.
Also included is a small plastic tube containing three screw-on lens attachments (magnet, hook and 45-degree prism) and a protective lens ring. The ring is attached to keep things from touching the lens when the attachments aren’t in use.
The app has a range of functions, including: colour/mono switch, portrait/landscape switch, image storage album, x1/x1.5/x2 digital zoom.
Not only will this device allow me to examine my teeth, ears, drains, nooks and crannies about the house, it is also an extremely good macro camera for taking images of insects, flowers and other very small things.
I like this endoscope device. It’s well designed, very easy to use, water resistant to IP67 and comes at a very economical price of 25.

This device is like a small spy that you can connect to your phone and sneak on so many things.
Of course, the main purpose is to explore the crooks and crannies of “hard to get to” places and spaces such as car engines, bathroom pipes, behind the various appliances, on top of tall cupboards and many more but me and my “crazy” mind just keeps thinking about sneaking on my kids through the door 🙂
It is super easy to set it up and use as all you need is to download the app and connect the cable via a USB C-type connector. There are also some additional heads to use (with hook, with mirror, with magnet) that come in a small plastic container for easier storage, just make sure you don’t misplace it as it is tiny and would be a challenge to find.
Anyway, very practical and fun to use. Believe me, you don’t want to look into your pipes as they are gross.

Review of Aopick USB Endoscope Camera

    Description
Arrives in branded cardboard box, Inside are: the endoscope, USB connectors, accessories and an instruction leaflet. The App works with Android and Apple. I used the Apple App which is compatible with iOS 9 and above and worked on my old iPad mini with no issues. The App was easy to install and plug and go with the endoscope. There is a range of accessories that screw onto the end of the endoscope: magnet, hook, side mirror and protective ring. I would use with the protective ring all the time.

    What I liked:
    * Modern USB C cable, comes with connectors for micro-USB and Apple Lightening
    * App easy to use
    * Long cable reach

    What I disliked
    * Accessories are made of thin metal, the magnet is quiet weak so only going to pick up very small magnetic metal items.
    * No storage case provided.

In summary easy to use Endoscope, I had fun examining the various sink U-bends in the house, only downside is I realised how messy things are down there.

4.0 out of 5 stars Easy to use, can reveal things you maybe not know where there

We gave this to a family friend who is a good mechanic.

He said that it is handy to keep in his car for when he needs to have a quick peak in someone’s car when he’s out and about.

The quality is ok for basic inspections but he would need something better for more in depth.

This is a perfect item for me , let me tell you a funny story. A few weeks ago my sons pet snake got out of his vivarium and hid under the flooring! At the time I really wished we had some sort of small camera or scope to look under the floor and in wall cavities! So when I spotted this endoscope I knew that I needed it in my life!

The intelligent visual industrial endoscope connects directly to your mobile phone. The easy to follow instructions booklet shows how to set up and which app to download. The “SUP-ANESOK” app in the app store was easy to find and took minutes to set up . Once the app was downloaded I was able to use it straight away. Easy to use and capture stills and videos. The video I’ve included shows us looking in a hole into the wall space.

I hope that I never need to use this to look for a missing snake , but I also couldn’t resist getting this item in case that happens again!

5.0 out of 5 stars This is perfect ... a funny story about how I came to want an endoscope!

Multi-device compatible borescope with attachments for Lightning and micro-USB, download the App from the trusted store and you’re good to go. Used this to locate a blockage in my washing machines drainage pipe, turned out to be a coin, which I used the hook attachment to pull out however once I had the hook was bent and then snapped off so whilst it did what I wanted I cant repeat the process. Probably something you can replace but the bits aren’t of the best quality. The camera is fine and can be used again but only really for seeing now.

Pretty useful, USB-C Endoscope which also comes with iPhone / USB-Micro adapters as well.

It works off a free simple to use App, and you can take Photos, Comparison Photos and Video as well.

There are a few screw on attachments as well to make this more useful, including a magnet, a hook and a side mirror.

On the video included with the review, this is me using it to search for a missing teaspoon and then pulling it back to safety with the magnet attachment.

Could be very handy for finding missing items, or investigating hard to reach places.

Very well made for the price.

I have recently got this Endoscope as a replacement for my previous, I liked that it was very easy to start, just connected in and installed the prompted application, after the installation i was able to start using it straight away. It came with 2 cable adapters and I have used the iPhone one as the standard connection is USB C. It was very easy to use and it is very rigid, with the build in lamp I was able to see inside the walls where the power cables are. In overall I am very satisfied with the price and the features of the Endoscope.

I ordered this principally because it is a gadget and I love a gadget. However, after several weeks of owning it I have found endless uses for it. In fact, I would go as far as to say that I believe it is a ‘must have’ at the price.

The first time I used it was to identify the model of a graphics card without having to remove it from the PC. Connecting it to my iPhone was simple, downloading and installing the app took moments and then I was able to scan the side of the graphics card easily.

A few days ago, a friend had dropped a bolt when working on his TVR. I popped home, grabbed the scope and we were able to find the missing item, lodged between a bracket and the block. The inbuilt light was indispensable, as getting light to that area would have been virtually impossible by any other means.

Currently, I see it is even cheaper than usual, so it is even more of a bargain. As a tool for finding lost things, it is invaluable. As a gadget, it is a great little conversation piece. I absolutely love it!

To be honest for the price it’s surprisingly good – albeit not as good as the pictures on the Amazon page because the 6 LEDs are really bright up close but once things go further away they get dark really quickly, and with a Whopping 2MP think of it as an old Nokia phone camera but on a flexy stick – it’s not amazing but how many cameras can you buy that you can stick into tight dark spaces with LEDs on it?

Setup is quite fast once I downloaded the app and connected to the wifi it only took a few seconds to connect each time though having to connect to wifi instead of it meant a lot of switching between apps. I also noticed that you could just plug it into a USB-C charger/power bank[presumably] and connect to it which could help preserve the battery of the phone.

Even though the manufacturer says that 2-10cm was where things would most be in focus objects really far away seem to still be in focus due to the whopping 2MP of resolution (/s), video quality ain’t too bad (enjoy “the drain in the flat bathtub which nobody cleaned for ages” attached below”)

In terms of object retrieval, I can see the hook and magnet working quite well in very niche situations though it was really challenging to manoeuvre in general, especially through the view of the phone.

    Things I don’t like:
    – The attachment for the magnet and hook was a bit fragile (I had the angle wrong and managed to snap it)
    – It requires Wifi to work instead of being able to plug it in with the app open and use it
    – Phone battery will drain noticeably especially with the torch
    – the squid cable takes up a lot of space (having just USB-C and providing adaptors would be nice)

    Improvements (other than the above):
    – a pouch for the accessories would be nice
    – Allowing image rotation inside the app (since the camera itself doesn’t rotate freely on the wire

4.0 out of 5 stars Image quality, compactness, and setup is not amazing, but it's a neat little device
