In the past I’ve struggled with USB hubs, having to use a powered hub due to the number of things plugged in and then having separate dongles plugged into that for memory card readers etc that ended with this.
It does 99% of what I need in a single connection and still leaves ports on my computer spare for anything else I might need to use. (I haven’t so far).

The addition of a PD USB C port was really nice, uplink or just from a power adapter for the rest of the devices plugged in was nice. Easily able to power an external harddisk with everything else in use it even worked with my Android phone, plugged in a mouse and I I had a mouse on my phone, wild.
Only down side, as with all these multiport adapters is the USB cable is fixed and a bit short for my needs. However, a USB-C cable works to connect to it so that’s only a small issue now and I can’t fault it for that.

Full USB 3 speeds on this, no problem with connectivity in Windows, Android or Linux.

I used this device to connect my wife’s laptop to a full size keyboard, mouse and monitor. So when she is performing serous work she cand simply place the laptop on the desk, plug in the hub to a USB port and use the larger screen and full size peripherals. As an added bonus the PD output also keeps the laptop charged.

This hub offers a wide array of functions, all accessible from a single USB-C or USB 3 port. Its versatility makes it an excellent accessory for your laptop or a way to expand connections on a desktop in our increasingly USB-dependent world.

The device boasts a sleek, professionally built design, and being made of aluminium allows it to dissipate heat effectively. Additionally, the device specifications claim that each USB port has overcharge protection.

One particularly unique feature of this hub, compared to many others, is the inclusion of a 3.5mm jack. This is especially useful for more recent laptops that have phased out the traditional 3.5mm audio port. While I didn’t extensively test the quality of this port, I listened to a couple of music tracks, and it seemed satisfactory.

However, there’s one aspect of the device that warrants a star deduction due to potential confusion. The USB 2.0 ports are marked with blue connectors, which typically indicate USB 3.0. While they are correctly labeled, someone making a quick purchase might assume they’re USB 3.0 ports and be disappointed when they discover that the device only has one USB 3.0 port.

If you don’t fall into that trap, it is a very good USB hub.

    USB Hub,USB C Hub,USB Multiport Adapter with 2-in-1 Interface,

I tried this adapter out on three devices – PC (Win 10), tablet, and phone. It worked fine on all three. It worked as an OTG on the tablet and phone.
Audio output is also available at the headphone socket , and this worked on all three devices, with the audio out on that device automatically switching to headphones.

The USB C socket is for a USB power supply connection to provide additional power for the attached peripherals if required. It does not charge the attached phone or tablet.

Note. When the adapter is disconnected, the device automatically switches back to it’s usual sound output mode (internal speaker on phone and tablet, and HDMI sound output on PC), but the media player that is playing the sound stops the sound (as if you’ve pressed the Stop button) untilPlay is pressed again. This appears to be device related and nothing to do with the adapter, as this has happened using other adapters.

The adapter is solidly built and compact.

This is an excellent small hub ideal for USB-C devices.
I particularly like this hub as it has:
    * A USB-C PD power in port, meaning that you can charge your device Tablet/Phone whilst using the hub to transfer data.
    * It has 3 USB data ports, two of which are the faster USB-3 (This is USB-A & C style ports)
    * A full-size HDMI port capable of outputting a 4K signal
    * TF & SD card slots.
    * No drivers were required, it worked as soon as it was connected.
I use this sort of hub when on holiday to use with my Android (v10) tablet that only has the 1 USB-C input/output. The hub is invaluable for transferring photos etc from my camera/phone to view on a bigger screen of to free up space. The inclusion of the HDMI socket also means I can link it to most TVs and the power in means I don’t have to rely on the tablets charge as well as making the transfer of files quicker and recharging the tablet. The hub itself is sting and well made (Aluminium casing) with text printed on it identifying the port type.
This hub has a good combination of ports, and in tests with my tablet worked faultlessly.

5.0 out of 5 stars An ideal companion for your tablet/phone

Keep on charging the notebook whilst adding a printer, monitor, USB-C external drive, headset dongle and reading the TF or SD cards from a camera, basically the ability of turning a simple laptop into a full workstation from a single USB-c socket.

A very neat hub that supports both HDMI output as well as pass through charging. I can now dock my work laptop (Lenovo T14) at home with just one USB C connector. The monotor, wireless mouse, keyboard etc are all plugged into the one hub along with the PD power supply. There are also SD card slots as well.

Very happy to give this 5 stars!

I needed a new USB 3 hub for my laptop and this one looked great to try for the price.

After it was plugged in, it worked immediately without any drivers or any kind of set up. I tried connecting it with both USB plugs into the laptop and they both work perfectly. Then I’ve tried a variety of different USB devices, and they all work perfectly. I even tried it on my desktop PC and again works great, however the lead is too short to properly use on a desktop PC. I then tried it on my Samsung phone via USB C and again works perfectly without any set up. I’ve never even used a mouse on a phone before and my mouse dongle was plugged in and just started working perfectly! All in all, a great USB hub and highly recommended for the price
