Some interesting choices but a very capable controller. I hope it lasts many years and so far, I have no reason to believe it wouldn’t.
The latency is amazing. XInput reports 0.955ms. I purchased this on the latency claims and the controller delivers. I have now swapped over from the Gulikit KingKong 2 Pro for the 90% reduction in input latency that is definitely noticeable. I opted for the wired T4 Kaleid over the latest wireless Gamesir offerings as they are limited to 250hz polling I believe.
Joysticks and triggers are great, smooth, no resistance, definitely hall effect.
All the face buttons are micro-switches I believe. So ABXY feel like mouse clicks instead of a standard rubber dome controller face button. Weird but weighted nicely and very responsive. No complaints.
The D-Pad switches are softer, feels more like a rubber dome switch setup but all feels good.
The rear macro buttons can be assigned to another button or a series of buttons on the fly. Also clicky micro switches but placed nicely and very responsive.
Build quality is great. The textured and gloss plastic all looks and feels great. No soft touch coatings to deteriorate and become sticky. The cable is a standard, replaceable type C cable. The type C port is also recessed quite far into the body of the controller to protect the port from cable stresses. Finding a replacement cable may be more difficult but the port should be protected from most drops etc.
The screen printing on the exposed internal circuit boards looks great. A shame that the actual electronics aren’t visible but still looks cool.
Lighting is bright and colourful, maybe a little excessive but looks great. I setup a slow light profile in the software with a max brightness of 5% on each LED. Less blinding now.
The windows software just about works. Windows thinks it has crashed every time it opens. Once it loads and recognises the controller, click into a profile and set the polling rate to 1000hz! The software holds 4 profiles and only one is loaded onto the controller at a time. Each profile can remap each button, adjust joystick and trigger output range (dead zone), vibration intensity, adjustable gyro output and have 4 lighting modes.
If you want the reliability of a wired controller, I have found nothing better then this one so far.

If you want a pro controller with good features and longevity at a budget price this is for you! I have had scuff, xbox elite, and thrustmaster so I know alot about controllers. This is my backup controller hands down nothing beats this in the budget range.
Having gone through about 10 360/One gamepads over the years, with them usually becoming a pain to use with stick drift, I recently found out about hall effect sticks which eliminate the problem. After some research I found this gamepad and am pleased with it.
It has a bunch of lighting features for the kids/streamers (which I disable), two programmable buttons underneath, a hair trigger mode for shooting games and autofire modes.
While I think you can program everything on the pad itself, I downloaded the Gamesir app on the Windows app store which made setting everything up easy.
Only slight problem I have with it compared to standard 360/One gamepads is that the ABXY buttons and the right stick are about 5mm further in to the body of the gamepad which for me makes the thumb angle move from comfortable (on a 360 pad) to less natural feeling.
I had watched a YT review video that make it sound like the face buttons are very clicky, but in reality they are almost the same sounding as 360 pad buttons.
I’ve been looking for a very precise controller for mainly when I want to sit back and relax from my sim wheel in racing games like BeamNG, assetto corsa, and various arcade racers.
I’ve had some okay controller’s but usually they develop faults in the first month with the sticks and rear triggers from repeat fast inputs. So far had this controller for over a month and still feels like brand new, controller deadzone is set at 0 on each stick and there is 0 drift even after my Mach 2 fingers start to try to hold a steering angle mid corner.
In a blind test against a ps4 controller where I first think of a percentage and then press the trigger button appropriately to see what percentage of throttle input I get, I can get close to 2% off my mark using the T4K compared to 10% on the ps4 controller. This is minly because of the perfect tension on the T4Ks triggers, the fact it’s also using hall effect like the sticks increasing accuracy further, and the travel distance being perfect too.
Cannot blame anything on this controller apart from the slightly buggy app that you need to download off the windows store for Windows. I’d say it’s about as buggy as the Logitech g hub software so not bad at all, especially when you consider razer software and their product budget.
Adding on to the app, I have an option to enable 1000hz polling after updating it. So far I’ve yet to notice any difference between 500 and 1000 but it’s a nice addition anyway.
RGB is nice but I’m not the biggest fan of RGB anyway on controllers as it sits on my lap when I play so I don’t notice it at all, could be a distraction because it’s pretty well made, reminds me of a budget Corsair RGB stick of ram.
Great all round, and in simple words, son loves it.
It’s cool and the design is fantastic. The transparent body leaves great space for lights to play, and of course with the help of lighting technology. Bright, colourful and exciting are the words to describe the experience.
The build quality is high with quality material. Solid yet soft to feel comfortable, really a pleasure to play with.
Love it’s compatible with PC, Switch, and Android TV box. It saves a lot money and space – I do not want many controllers littered around the rooms.
It’s plug and play hence no hassle at all. I would say it’s considerate to provide a quality 2m USB-C cable. Of course some may prefer multiple USB ports but not a problem for me as USB-C represents the tech trend.
The sticks are amazing and the grip is lovely. Pricewise, it provides value for money.
Overall a quality and lively controller to recommend.
I gave my son this gaming controller for his PC and I must say, he loved his gift.
What caught my eye first is the transparent design. It’s rather cool and my son loves it. He can see the inner workings of the controller and thinks it’s just brilliant.
This controller plugs right into his PC and it also works with his Switch and Android TV box. No need to fiddle with any settings, it’s as easy as just plugging it in and he’s ready to play.
The joystick on this controller is something else. It uses something called Hall Effect Sticks and they’re really responsive. My son says his characters move more accurately and he’s been winning more games since he started using it.
Another neat feature are the analog triggers. They give a great feel when pressed and my son says it makes the gaming experience more realistic.
Now, this controller also has a 3.5mm audio jack. My son can plug in his headphones directly into the controller, which is handy. He can have his game sounds close while keeping the noise down for the rest of us in the house.
In summary, this gaming controller is a great bit of kit. It’s easy to use, looks cool, and really improves the gaming experience. Best of all, my son loves it. If you’re looking for a good controller for a PC or Switch, I’d definitely recommendthisone.
The GameSir T4K controller is a bit of a wonder. Its transparent design gives it a certain charm. Not only is it visually striking, but the LED personalisation is just fun. It’s easy to use across multiple platforms, making switching between games a breeze. The controller’s Hall Effect sensing sticks ensure accuracy. Yet, more in-depth personalisation options wouldn’t go amiss.
Very comfortable and premium feeling… Very customisable, great build quality, great features… Very happy with my purchase…. Only single downside is the opening for usb c port, it’s not very accommodating for different cables. Otherwise pretty perfect imo
Very pleased with this controller. I use it with my pc and the programmable lighting is simple to use and effective.
It is comfortable to hold and all the buttons are easy to reach.
The stand out feature though is the hall effect sticks which are very precise and responsive. Ideal to get your crosshair where you want in a hurry.
This controller is awesome my son loves it.
He loves how it lights up different colours. Easy and comfortable to hold.. just plug not play too. A must for any PC gamer. Well made and quite robus
I’ve been trying to use a controller like this on my PC for years and they still don’t quite work perfectly no idea why works on simple games but on a flying game in particular I keep getting little glitches.
Comes with a charging cable that you can also use the controller when it’s plugged in. All buttons press really well and the analogue sticks are responsive. The whole controller lights up when in use which is really cool. Good controlle
GameSir T4 Kaleid Transparent gaming Controller.
A very decent wired Controller for PC/Switch/Android TV Box.
Works well love the feel and the light displays are really cool.
Good quality controller in my opinion.
My son is using this on his gaming PC and loves it. It is smaller than a PS5 controller and feels more like an XBox controller in terms of layout. Love the extra buttons on the rear, the clear case and RGB look great, and it is extremely configurable – 5 stars from me!
As an avid gamer who enjoys playing on multiple platforms, I was in need of a versatile controller that would seamlessly work with my PC, Switch, and Android TV box. The Game Sir T4K caught my attention with its transparent body and customizable LED lighting, promising a unique gaming experience tailored to my preferences.
Arrived securely packaged, protecting the controller from any potential damage during transit. The box itself was sleek and professional, giving a glimpse of the transparent controller inside. It was evident that attention was paid to the design, creating a visually appealing first impression.
Upon opening the package, I was immediately captivated by the translucent beauty of the GameSir T4K. The transparent body with customizable LED lighting truly set it apart from other controllers on the market. Holding it in my hands, I could feel the sturdy build quality and ergonomic design, making it comfortable to grip for extended gaming sessions.
The design of the GameSir T4K is a standout feature. The transparent body not only looks fantastic but also allows for personalization through customizable LED lighting. I was able to create a unique gaming experience that reflected my individual style. The controller itself feels solid and well-built, with responsive buttons and an excellent analog stick layout.
I was impressed by its performance across all the supported platforms. The Hall Effect sensing sticks provided exceptional accuracy, ensuring precise control during gameplay. The inclusion of 2 macro back buttons was a welcome addition, allowing for further customization to suit my gaming style. The motion-control feature enhanced the immersive experience, making me feel more connected to the games I played. The dual rumble motors added an extra layer of realism, delivering satisfying feedback with every action.
Having tested the GameSir T4K, I can confidently say that it is worth the price. The build quality, design, and performance justify the investment. The versatility to use it with multiple platforms and the extensive customization options make it a valuable addition to any serious gamer’s collection. My experience with the controller has only reinforced my belief in its worth.
Overall, the transparent body with customizable LED lighting adds a unique touch and sets it apart visually. During testing, it performed exceptionally well, offering accurate controls, immersive gameplay, and a comfortable grip. The additional features like macro back buttons and the 3.5mm audio jack enhance the overall experience. Considering everything, I wholeheartedly recommend the GameSir T4K to fellow gamers.
I would recommend this product.
This GameSir controller looks amazing (like seriously amazing!) I just love it when transparent plastic is done correctly like it is here. Putting the case to one side, you can also adjust the RGB lighting effects for your personal touch. The controller feels robust, the buttons are tactile and respond well – and not to forget that great rumble feature which is better than some other more expensive controllers. I took me a short time to get used to those thumbstick’s as they are a bit different to what I’m used to, but it was a small adjustment. I’ve had a lot of fun with this controller and so far I’ve found nothing to fault. It’s a great alternative to much more expensive models on the market, and as such is good value for money.
While these will never compete with higher end controllers, they have the right price to be a convenient backup or second-player device. The controller is reasonably comfortable, with the buttons and triggers well arranged along the chasis. It does though feel discomfortingly light and airy – something not mirrored in the responsiveness of the controls, but I found it distracting when compared to my Nintendo Switch Pro and XBox Elite controllers. The action on the buttons too feels light.
I wouldn’t endorse switching to this as your ‘daily driver’, but it would certainly be fine as a second option.
As a third party controller, it’s a pretty decent effort, though a little overpriced for a wired-only option (being in a clear case is a bold move in this regard, as you can clearly see there’s plenty of room for a battery inside).
The analog sticks have less resistance than I’m used to, but being hall effect, which uses magnetism rather than physically touching parts, theoretically they shouldn’t wear out or develop drift.
The buttons feel a bit clicky and cheap compared to official controllers, but they seem responsive enough.
It’s nice that you can change the button layout (swapping the functions of A & B, and X & Y) as it can also be used with the Switch, despite having an Xbox button layout.
Also, I really don’t get the whole LED lighting thing. It’s super annoying and distracting. Thankfully it’s adjustable, but I can’t help but think, why?
Overall it’s decent, but if you want a controller like this that’s compatible with the same devices but wireless, you really can’t go wrong with the Switch Pro Controller. But if you don’t mind wired, this isn’t bad.
This is a Gateside transparent PC controller, it is wired and works on PC.
The controller looks nice and connects via USB.
The design is nice and I like the colours.
It came we packed and feels of good quality.
You simply plug in and play.
It features sensing stickers that are anti-drift.
The 2 macro back buttons are good for more customising options which is good.
Would recommend.
price at time of review 41.99
packaging. controller comes in a cardboard box, well printed with plenty of images and information displayed on it. inside the box the controller is in a cardboard boxed sleave with cutout indents to hold the wire and controller.
the controller its self is made from a nice feeling plastic, the textured grip on the underside is nicely done and the buttons are nice and tactile. on to the main selling point, the joysticks, this is my 1st time useing hall effect sticks and i was blown away with there accuracy right out the box, silky smooth motion, and clicky feel for the 3rd button. the usbC port is a inside a recess which is a little tight, but the provided braided cable fits perfectly and at the full 2m advertised is a nice and sturdy wire that works well and has plenty of length to move about a little.
i do wish there was a white led option but when turned down the colours arnt to distracting, though the controller is plug and play the optional pc software is easy to find, quick to install and after a restart is really simple to you and set up the controller in multiple diffrent ways
As described and as advertised.
Well packaged and well presented – we think that this would make a nice gift for non serious gamer friends/family.
Plug and play on windows 11
we like that the cable is not hard wired and can be removed for storage.
We like the Velcro cable tidy strap too.
We are non serious gamers in that we do it for and not competitively. This is as responsive as similarly priced controllers we’ve tried. It didn’t negatively impact our gaming abilities.
Smooth controls and buttons without excessive noise.
No complaints although perhaps slightly over priced at 41.
Really good controller! Wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it is. Ordered to use with my PC for just some casual gaming and it works really well, very responsive and the build is excellent. Love the design with LED lights. The cable is braided and also really good quality and there is plenty of length. Overall a great controller!
I was interested in trying the GameSir T4 Kaleid PC Controller as I’ve been hearing a lot about hall effect joysticks recently and was eager to try them out. Essentially, they should be more reliable, more precise with smaller dead zones and less susceptible to stick drift.
Out of the box the controller looks good, but you really need to plug it in and get the RGB on to get the full effect. You can manage the LED’s through button shortcuts if you don’t want to install the companion software, this is also true of the haptic motors, though you won’t be able to program the custom buttons.
Even though this is a wired controller, the removable USB C to A cable is appreciated as I have lost wired controllers previously due to damaged cables. The textured surfaces under your palms do a great job of providing grip, though this is textured plastic not a rubberised surface.
Connecting to the PC the controller was immediately identified as an Xbox compatible type and was ready to go. I’ve never been a fan of motion controls so I went with good old thumb sticks, and the sticks on this controller are some of the best I’ve used, and while the triggers don’t compare to the dual-sense, they’re more than serviceable.
I’ve been using the GameSir T4 Kaleid on my PC, playing RDR2 and Fallen Order and it’s been a joy, not too big for my smallish hands as responsive as my limited gaming skills need it to be.
I like this controller, sure it’s expensive for what is in essence still a wired controller, but sometimes it’s worth the additional expense to obtain something that is a vast improvement on the usual tat that floods the controller market nowadays, this item incorporates quality sticks and Led lighting along with a clear case to show it all off.
Item arrives in branded box that is suitable for gifting if that’s your intention.
The item includes a decent Usb Type C cable of 2m length, this provides a plug and play experience with no setup processes and is compatible with Pc, switch, and android, ensuring gamers can seamlessly switch between devices utilising just one controller for all.
The controller features hall effect sensing sticks which are absolutely fantastic, providing great control they are also anti drift and have a very long life when compared to cheaper sticks, it also incorporates a really decent Dpad and face buttons and is very comfortable to hold.
The controller also features motion control for immersive gameplay, dual distinct rumble motors and a transparent body, which allows for ultimate lighting personalization with customizable LED lighting.
Bells and whistles aside this is a great controller that although expensive will provide a great gaming experience with none of the lag a wireless controller may provide, it has fantastic sticks, Dpad and face buttons and you can add your own lighting, you only need one controller make it a decent one.
There is a lot to love about this controller, it’s well made , the stick controls feel premium , changing settings is easy, mostly done with a combo of the mode button and up and down on the D pad and left joy stick.
The rumble motor at max is the strongest I’ve ever felt , good job it’s usb powered because it would flatten a battery in no time.
I’m not a huge fan of leds , but these do look nice with the transparent cover , which is the only bit that feels a bit cheap compared to console controllers. There are a few modes to change the leds , basically set colours or fading through the colour spectrum.
It’s an Xbox style controller , which for me is by far the most comfortable , much better in the hand than my ps5 controller.
There are under body buttons too that are very comfortable and naturally placed, turbo trigger features , but I didn’t get to test these or the app, I used it with my switch. Much prefer this to the Nintendo Pro controller , the sticks are night and day better on this. Everything is mappable , but I really need to test the editor software once I’m at my GFs I will update this review.
For now though , this is a really nice controller , it’s really grippy too , has the nice Xbox layout that I like. Most importantly it’s comfortable and everything apart from the plasticky transparent part feels premium.
You can put it in modes for Android , Switch and Microsoft PC. No Apple support , Sadge. Maybe I can use it through accessibility on my iPad Pro.
Price wise it isn’t the cheapest , but it’s totally reasonable for what you get , the rumble motor is excellent and can be set for intensity. It has headphone out on the controller too.
One of the best cross platform third party controllers out there at the moment and it does look sweet , ngl.
Got this to try out on a PC. Very easy to use and fits well in the hands.
Looks great too.
For 41.99 at time of the review I’m not sure if it’s over priced or not. I’ve never bought 1 for years.
Gets 5-5. I like it.
I have used this Gamesir controller with my PC as I play a lot of RPG games and FPS, I found that the controls are very responsive and smooth over a variety of games i have tried. The wire is long enough to allow me to get a good distance away from my TV. I like the RGB lighting which adds a cool look to my setup. All the triggers have a smooth pull and good weight to them. Overall a really good bit of kit that I look forward to getting a lot of use out of.
Summary – T4 Kalied is overall a good controller. However it does not work properly on Steam deck at the moment, it probably needs a software update. The controller feels good in hands, it’s lightweight, it has hall effect jousticks, so no likelihood of stick drift. It has hall effect triggers. The ABXY buttons feel great, instant mechanical click.
It also supports gyro aiming in X-input mode, which is slightly different to how Nintendo and PlayStation controllers do gyro. The gyro in switch mode is just like a official Nintendo controller. If Gamesir can sort out the Steam Deck issues then this will be the perfect controller. They should also make a wireless version.
It works on multiple platforms of PC, Nintendo Switch (NSW), Android, IOS.
It supports X-input (PC), D-input, Switch, Android.
X-input mode works on Windows PC. For some unknown reason X-input does not work on steam deck. Hopefully a software update will resolve this. As at the moment only NSW mode works on steam deck.
Android mode – I will test this on android and update. D input does not work properly on Windows or Steam deck, the button inputs get weird.
Nintendo switch mode works on Windows PC, Nintendo Switch and Steam deck.
This controller does so much right, and if you liked the G7 and want hall effect sticks – this is a great place to start. Obviously MUCH is highly subjective.
I have tried a lot of controllers, even over priced ones from Microsoft, Thrustmaster, Razer etc. Before this I used the 8bitdo Ultimate and then the G7on Xbox and PC. Both were excellent but I slightly preferred the G7. I currently own both the G7 and the T4K so I have tried them side by side – this is important, be careful listening to anybody who has not had them side by side in hand and is making comparisons. I plan to update this review because I have only had the T4K for two days, this is not enough time.
I had a couple of issue out the box, I am still testing to see if they are resolved.
Against the G7 this is, for me, a step up in near every way, the back buttons are a side step mind, and slightly more hollow feeling and sounding, they could be improved but are fine with decent positioning. The sticks are wonderful. The Thumb grips themselves are terrible for me, as they are also on the 8bitdo and G7 – I have to use a Galaxy mid rise FPS freak, otherwise I could not use any of them, AT ALL, so this drives up the cost. D-PAD is for me, far nicer than the G7. ABXY are slightly better for me, easier to actuate multiple and perfectly functional, nice to use.
Ergonomics slightly different to the G7, it feels maybe 5% ‘Bulkier’ however it’s very comfortable for me, and perfect after 24 hours use, slightly better than the G7. Triggers are slightly smoother action than the G7 – better for me. The grip material is perfect for me, I am not a fan of rubber grips, I ‘put up with them’ on the G7 but I am very pleased to see them gone for the T4K.
I absolutely will update this review but wanted to get something out there as there is almost nothing on this controller yet and Gamesir have done so much right here. Absolutely worth a try.
Price is passable, it’s a wired controller, only two back buttons and without trigger stops, 40 is the absolute maximum it is worth in my opinion no matter how much RGB you cram in.
Really great controller for me though, and in a market where most of these ‘gaming’ products are absurdly priced, this is reasonable. 4.5 Stars for the price – at 35 however this would have been a 5 star product for me WITHOUT QUESTION. Great work Gamsir.
