Product is great, but not impressed by the courier leaving package on the front step in full view when we have a plastic shed at side of house where parcels get put normally.
I recently tried the Garnier Nutrisse Ultra Color Permanent Hair Dye in the shade 4.15 Iced Coffee, Brown, and I must say I’m quite impressed. The colour turned out to be exactly what I was looking for — a rich, intense brown that added vibrancy to my hair.
What sets this hair dye apart is its suitability for all hair types. As someone with diverse hair needs, I appreciate a product that caters to everyone. The application process was straightforward, and the formula didn’t have that overpowering chemical smell that some hair dyes tend to have.
I was pleasantly surprised by the longevity of the colour. It has held up well, maintaining its intensity and shine. The Colour also left my hair feeling nourished and soft, which is a huge plus. It’s always a relief when a hair dye doesn’t compromise the health of your locks.
Overall, Nutrisse is a reliable choice if you’re looking for a vibrant and long-lasting hair colour. It’s suitable for various hair types, easy to apply, and leaves your hair feeling nourished — a winning combination in my book!
I tried this shade of colour for the first time considering that my natural colour it’s dark brown almost black and I’m very happy with the results, obviously it’s not like the colour from the front the box because depends of your starting colour but for someone like me with dark hair it’s an excellent result it’s like a beautiful light golden brown and in some lights it’s even lighter almost golden dark blonde and it’s no bleach and expensive hairsalon appointments like before for me and also covered my greys completely, definitely will buy again and I recommend this colour from garnier nutrisse.
I had a short black Afro and went blonde for the first time. I didn’t get the colour I wanted but it was good enough for a trip to NOLA. Brassier than expected even after using purple shampoo and conditioner. Going to try a different brand for comparisio
I have bought this product more than 30 times in last few years , it is a good product better than similar product and cost effective but recently they have increased the price though.if you buy multiple quantity together , good percent discount is given.
This is my go to brand for hair dye.
The colour is always good and long lasting and the smell isn’t too overpowering like some dyes I’ve tried.
It’s become my monthly colou
I have dark brown hair so i wasn’t expecting a massive difference but tbh it is definitely black. Recommend for anyone who has darker hair, also ignore my choppy ends x
I was very stupid with this dye. I was going over bleached hair with a mostly washed out live colour XXL dye already on there. The colour looked very similar. But it did say on the box ‘not recommended for bleached hair’
I should have listened! The colour looks nice, where it took but showed very dark. However, as it was put onto bleached hair it’s incredibly patchy (where it’s decided to just not take to some strands) and I know it was applied very thoroughly.
So I can’t leave a negative review as it’s my fault it hasn’t worked for me. Read the instructions! I’m off to buy some colour remover now!
I use this one because it’s the closest to my natural hair colour and I’ve been using this shade to cover my first greys for about a year now.
It’s fine enough for an at home colour. My fave colour used to be olia frosted oak but you can’t get it anymore, so I moved onto this and it’s close enough I suppose. It’s much cheaper than going to a salon which is a bonus, we can’t all be affording to pay 200 every 3 months for fancy balayage or whatever.
Obviously you get downfalls with box dyes, lots of people saying your hair is dry afterwards. For me that’s kind of a given, what do you expect, it’s a 5 quid box of chemicals you put on your hair! That’s why the conditioner included in the pack is so rich, I personally never use a conditioner that rich in my regular washing routine so they give it you for a reason, and I always expect to have to spend a couple of weeks deep treating and conditioning my lengths after a box dye.
Having said that, this one isn’t actually that bad, only minimal drying out I feel.
As for the colour, it’s fine for me but a couple of times it’s come out with a coppery tone to it, as you can see in the picture. The picture is freshly washed after my 4th application in a year of this shade. This personally doesn’t bother me, I don’t mind it, but bear it in mind if you buy this colour.
Does cover the greys but I leave it on for an extra 10 to 15 minutes to make sure of it.
Also my hair is long, only about 3 inches or so from being bum length, and it’s very thick. I need 3 boxes each time to completely cover it all.
This hair dye changed my brown hair to a very vibrant shade of red. It’s a beautiful colour but not for you if you want something more subtle. Easy to follow instructions.
The dye is easy to use and the instructions are very clear and easy to follow. The time it takes to complete is alno not that long, which is great. I don’t usually dye my hair, but there’s much more whites showing up lately, so wanted to cover those up. To be fair, the dye has done a good job of this. Unfortunately the colour in no way what it was supposed to. I bought the light brown, which, in the picture, looked very close to my natural colour, which I actually like. The result was much darker though, reminds me of a chestnut. It’s way too dark and I don’t like it at all. Quite disappointing. Hair feels soft though.
I might try this in another colour at some poi
I’ll preface by saying im Mid 30s and it was my 1st time using hair dye, I’m a tomboy who normally uses head n shoulders and doesn’t do much else with their just past shoulder length hair
But after feeling my hair had lost a bit of vibrancy and a front few wispy greys started to make me sad I thought I’d give it a go
I spent a while on the Nutrisse website with the colour match tool to find the closest to my natural colour but with more umpf
I read, re-read the included instructions
I also read a Wiki How for extra tips:
*Waited till a day everyone was out (one bathroom!)
*Washed and dried my hair that morning, (no conditioner just shampoo)
*Used some vaseline out of a small lip tin of the stuff to cover my forehead, ears and back of neck
*Wore an old top
*Had a can of drink and my phone with me
*Had an old towel ready
I laid out the contents of the box
Gloves on
Mixed the B into the A and shook, snapped the cap (immediately started coming out)
Started applying to roots, shoving the hair aside with the bottle nozzle to find more root sections
Applied to ends and smoodged it around, had more than I thought left in bottle so just emptied it all on my head and used 2 gloved hands to work it in all over
Has good sticking power so didn’t drip and I didn’t need the old towel
Turned the sink tap on with an elbow, rinsed the gloves and then shimmied out of them, leaving them on the side of the sink to reuse when rinsing
Wiped off few stray bits hair dye from my skin with a wet wipe
Sat down with my drink and phone to waste 35 mins
Gloves back on and used few handfuls water to ’emulsify’, as they put it, the solution to a foamy consistency
Then rinsed it out with shower head over bath
Hand Squeezed most of the water out and then used few squeezes of the supplied conditioner, wrapped the old towel around my shoulders (as it was a bit wetter!) and spent another few mins on my phone with the conditioner in
Rinsed that, wrapped my hair in a turban and tidied the bathroom of any stray hair dye
Few mins later I did my normal basic hairdrying
I can’t stop looking in the mirror! I LOVE it so so much
It is however a bit like when you change a sofa and then the curtains have to be updated in that I immediately bought shampoo/conditioner specifically for coloured hair and some well reviewed dry shampoo powder so be prepared for that side effect
All in all it was simple to use, looks amazing and I will no doubt be buying agai
This product did a great job of lightening my hair from a light brown with auburn colour in it to really light. I completely expected to have some yellow or orange tinge due to previous colouring but it wasn’t too bad. Hair condition and texture was pretty coarse until I applied the bright blue conditioner/toner. To counteract the yellow, I then applied a box colour of ash blonde so now the colour is pretty rad. This product is really effective as a colour stripper to give you a base to work from. I had no bad reactions to the formula, it was easy to use and my scalp wasn’t affected despite the bleach being applied right on the scalp with me having such short hair.
