I definitely recommend this as a day bed option if your pup likes to stay close to you throughout the day. Or even for travel. I Wouldn’t use as a permanent bed as the edges aren’t of supportive material and wouldn’t last long as a main bed.
My dog loves this bed and sleeps on it every night. It’s lovely and soft and I’ve often mocked sleeping on it myself much to my woofers dismay. The only time he won’t sleep on it is when it’s really warm in the bedroom as it’s too warm for him.
The bed is soft and fluffy but the sides aren’t as bolstered or upright as in the picture they fall fairly flat so it’s like one big flat bed, but my dog (and cats like it!)
I bought this bed for my adopted Romanian rescue dog a few weeks before she arrived as it looked like it would be perfect for us to tuck away in a quiet place whilst she settled in. The plan was to make a little den in the house somewhere using this bed, a small table and blankets. At first when she arrived she was a little nervous full stop but once she saw we had made her a private place to rest and feel safe, she quickly made her way over and plonked herself down on the bed. She barely left the bed other than to eat and go to the toilet. The big fluffy ring helped add extra shelter for her and the material was so soft it must have been hard to leave it. Now she has settled in perfectly and we have moved the bed out from the table and placed it next to our other dogs bed and she still looks just as snugly in it as she did when it was part of the den. Sometimes we even catch our other dog sleeping in this bed rather then his own. All in all we are very pleased we bought this bed, our dogs seem very happy with it.
