good idea and good quality mini basket ball kit. setting up was a breeze and east to fit on doors. Sure you could find a place outdoor but you need to hang it firmly anyway.
Good quality and a perfect gift to kids.
This indoor basketball hoop is great for this. It hooks up over the door very quickly and is ready to play. It can actually be left there too; the door will close without a problem when this stays up. I did notice though, as I pointed out in the video, that the gap the hooks cover, for going over the door is 40mm, but the counter device and the padding reduces this down to half of that. Doing so, makes it not possible to hang this over a standard internal door. I have had to remove the padding and just hang the hoop over the door without them (again, see video). This does work find though and I haven’t seen any problem with the door getting marked because of this.
A thick PVC base, with red and black borders, the back board is strong and will certainly take some knocks. The hoop is a strong metal which fixes via three bolts into the main board, and the counter panel behind. The cooks at the top fix to the boards with two screws each. Everything fixes together firmly and does not feel at all flimsy.
After you feed it three AA batteries, and switch on, the machine lights up with some very loud music, and a voice asks you to select the games. It’s actually really good how it talks you through the options and counts down to the start and end of the game.
The challenges from the games it sets adds to the fun. It really works and works well. The sounds and very effective lighting, adds to the excitement of the game and I definitely recommend it for the young ones, as well as us older folk.
I’m very impressed with this product. It’s given hours of fun for the last few weeks when I’ve had family over and I’ve also played for hours with it myself.
I’ve uploaded a video where I’m using my hands to demonstrate the sensor and modes. Just ignore the fact I’m using my hand and think of it as a ball passing through the net and you get the idea. It’s very good at counting and doesn’t miss a shot.
There are three modes to chose from –
Mode one is a 60 second countdown. You get one point for each successful shot.
Mode two is two player mode and like mode one, each player has 60 seconds each. It will then provide the socre and winner after both rounds are completed.
Mode three is a challenge mode, you have 30 seconds to complete each level. So level one requires 10 successful shots and then the timer starts again to 30, you then need to do 12 shots, level three requires 15 shots and so on.
There is commentary and music as you’re playing which really makes the game more entertaining and competitive.
It requires 3xAA batteries but I’m using rechargeable ones so it’s no issue. There’s a power saving mode which kicks in after 60 seconds to save draining and you just turn back on to start again. You’re going to need a tiny Philips screw driver for the battery housing, I have one from testing gadgets so it wasn’t a problem.
Setting up was a bit confusing, it requires assembly but the instructions aren’t too clear. The foam protection goes on the back where the batteries are. This protects the door surface but I realised there is no such protection on the top hooks, you can tape these to protect the top of your doors. Would have been nice if they had a layer on them already.
Also when removing the back protective plastic. You have to remove the battery housing by taking off the front two screws.
You get three balls and also a pump. The pump works well, make sure you insert all the way in before pumping up. To deflate the balls just use the plastic end.
Now the scoreboard and net don’t seem to go flat, you have to take the net off when storing away. I was hoping you could spring down or up and just flatten but you can’t.
That’s a bit annoying but I’m still giving it five as it’s been great fun!
I ordered this for my six year old grandson and his younger brother to play with as the weather has been so awful this summer they needed something to keep them entertained indoors other than a computer for change, lol and this looked like it would fit the bill.
On opening, this does require some assembly but it really isn’t hard to do and we had it ready to use within about ten minutes. Unfortunately this doesn’t come with batteries so I did have to get those separately although the toy can be used without the batteries the display requirers them.
Once this was built up, it simply hangs over a standard door so there is no drilling or other installation to do and the supplied balls are fairly small and soft so with a little care they won’t cause any damage to indoors decor.
With this all set up, we passed the balls to my grandson who after some practice managed to start getting the balls into the net although he couldn’t get the hang of bouncing the ball before shooting he was still very entertained by it. Each time the ball went in the digits registered on the display which also helps to boost the Childs interest as he keeps trying to improve on his scores. His little brother wanted to have a go next so after passing him the balls he did try b ut being as he is only two years old he didn’t manage to get any in the net although he did still;l enjoy throwing them around, lol.
Overall, this is an easy to setup indoor game for children that will help keep them away from their computers at least for a short time.

This is a mini- basketball game, designed to hook over an internal door for quick and easy play.
First things first, straight out of the box it’s fairly evident that this is a quality well-made little item. Everything feels premium and oozes class. There is a little bit of assembly to do prior to play, but it’s fairly straightforward.
When the frame is completed it hangs over the top of a door, and should you want to open the door against a wall, the hoop can lift up, so you don’t have to remove the entire thing every time (although it is just as quick & easy to lift the entire thing off the door and put it back on by the time you’ve messed around folding it up and down). Ask for gameplay, well, it’s basketball!! The scoreboard features a sensor, so it can detect how Many baskets have been scored. It has accompanying lights and sounds which again lend to the premium feel of this product.
The only thing that annoys me about the whole thing is, I am not keen to encourage children to throw balls around inside my living room. It would be nice if it came with an attachment so you could fit it to an outside wall in the garden on pleasant days, but this can be achieved with a bit of creativity.
All in all, a great little item I will make an excellent part again (how many baskets can you score in one minute?) good quality, good stuff, highly recommended.
This is a decent mini basketball game. You get 3 mini basketballs, fixtures and fittings, and of course the board with integrated scoring and lights and attached hoop.
I have to say, I love the led lit backboard. Adds a very cool, arcade feel to it and also looks great. The hoop auto scores any balls that go through it and yoy have a choice of game mode, practice if you just want to throw some balls, 2 player if you have a mate and then a challenge mode.
Nothing evasive to say about it, very cool, good fun and often had a deal on the price as well!

This mini Basketball Hoop is great fun. It comes in a branded box with everything you need inside. It should have been easy to assemble, but one screw was damaged so it took a while longer than it should have; all the other screws went in easily. Three balls are included, and these need pumping up with the pump that’s also included. Once assembled the backboard hooks over the top of a door (or the back of a chair for the smaller family members) and it’s game on! The electronic backboard has LED lights to keep score, plus sounds of applause and cheering crowds; it has three modes to add a bit of interest. It’s a good quality item and feels durable, so it will last a good while, even with the kids playing with it.

This is a good-looking set. It takes 10 minutes to assemble, and feels solid. When not in use, you can collapse it and store it in the box.
To use it, you hook it over a door or the back of a chair.
The set includes three basketballs and a pump; the balls are soft, and easy for smaller hands to grip.
The net is sprung, so if you try a slam dunk it won’t break off.
The hoop counts shots, but the sensor is a bit poor — if you get a rim shot it can double or triple count shots.
The “GREAT “announcement when you score a basket gets annoying very quickly; it should have some different announcements, and you should have the option to switch it off.
A bit expensive, but a good budget option compared with alternatives.
it’s a good basketball hoop, easy to put together with easy to follow instructions, came with all the screws need plus one or two extra, my only issue was once the foam protectors where put on we weren’t able to hang it over our door as the protectors made it impossible so we ended up having to cut down the protectors to make them the right level in order for it to fit, but other than that the hoop and back plate itself was great, a sturdy and well made, very strong product.
With a counter and various modes on the basket to give you loads of fun, this item is going to be great fun for indoors for any child on a rainy day. Easy to set up, easy to practice your trick shots and of course coming included with 3 balls make this an item that will prove popular in your home.
Great fun, easy to use and well made really has made my little ones day as he gets to sit there and throw the balls improving his hand/eye co-ordination. Magic.
