Whist there are accessories that allow you to connect a GoPro action camera to a tripod or camera screw mount, they are often much bigger.
This is a simple accessory that allows you to connect a GoPro in those situations and rotate it 360 degrees. Locking in place once screwed in. You can make doubly sure it won’t come off with the supplied wrench that can tighten even further.
The build quality is decent and metal so should withstand some knocks and scrapes.
I have so many various adapters for cameras and action camerasI sometimes forget I have some of them! But this one is definitely a useful little item.
It allows for attaching action camera or action camera equipment to a cage, bracket, tripod, arm etc.
It’s very well made, same as any HSU item I have. The all-aluminum construction makes it look sturdy and professional.
The ” 20 screw is one of the most popular connections in the photography world. At the other end you have a standard action camera mount. I like that you have the locking ring, by which you can also adjust the length of the screw itself.
Somehow the set is missing a locking screw though, which HSU never shied away from before. It’s almost a necessity here
But I like the locking ring, because it makes attaching/detaching the adapter so much easier.
Overall it’s a good adapter. 8 is a decent price, but the set should include the locking screw. A star goes down because it’s missing. Still, it’s a great item and I’m definitely happy to recommend it.

Ottima qualit, completamente in alluminio, curatissima nei dettagli.
Presa per montarla sulla staffa del mio arbalete, devo dire che davvero un piccolo prodotto premium.
Perfetta per la mia GOPRO9 che rimane perfettamente agganciata e stabile.
Non inclusa la vite, motivo per cui assegno 4 stelle.
Questo attacco indispensabile per adattare alle “normali” fotocamere gli accessori dedicati esclusivamente GoPro o per accoppiare la GoPro direttamente alla fotocamera o agganciarla ad essa tramite apposite piastre di collegamento.
di metallo, piuttosto solido, si collega stabilmente alla GoPro con l’apposita vite… che non presente nella confezione.
Per come fatto, avevo pensato che svitando la vite interna, avrei potuto usare questo supporto anche come “femmina” per poter collegare la GoPro agli accessori per la fotocamera. Ecco, se avete pensato anche voi a questa possibilit, vi dico che non si pu fare! Il perno dei cavalletti troppo corto per arrivare ad avvitarsi alla rondella. Non si pu fare.
Si tratta comunque di uno di quegli accessori necessari per far “dialogare” action camera, fotocamera e rispettivi accessori!
Permet de nombreux usages de part sa fixation 1/4″. Pas de jeu au niveau de la connectique l’action cam. Tout en aluminium, c’est propre et pas trop lourd. Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas la vis pour la fixation avec l’action cam…
Sur les photos, test avec la Hero 12 Black mais cet adaptateur est compatible avec l’ensemble des action cams utilisant ce systme de fixation.
Acompaado de una llave hexagonal, para bloquear el anillo interior y en una pequea caja de cartn, viene este adaptador con tornillo de 1/4″, ideal para conectar a otros soportes que tengan este tipo de rosca de trpode compatible.
El adaptador tiene un acabado en aluminio de color negro de gran calidad, de gran resistencia y de acabados impecables. Es un tornillo ligero y perfectamente compatibles con cmaras de accin como GoPro u otros modelos que soporten este tipo de anclaje.
Con el anillo interior, que se puede bloquear con un doble tornillo, se puede lograr una rotacin de hasta 360 grados. Y para mejorar la fijacin con la cmara, trae una goma en la base del tornillo. Lo nico que no incluye es el tornillo de sujecin a la cmara, que deberemos usar el propio de la cmara.
Sin dudarlo es un accesorio de gran calidad.

A very very good solution to mount your action cam (Osmo Action in my case) basically everywhere, using a classic screw. Works perfectly on my camera cage, allowing me to use the action cam as second camera, mounted straight over the main one. Absolutely recommended!
