These ice blocks are great they are slim , lightweight & have 2 holes in which makes them easy to pick up they stay frozen & cold for hours good for your cool bag or a cold compress to ease pain & swelling .
Freezer blocks they are as described good point is they are slim so don’t take up much room in the freezer or in the cold bag when in use, good product will recommend to anyone.
Ordered these to keep food and drinks cool for picnics, they stay frozen ages and slip in easily around the side on bottoms of my bag, leaving more room for food. Weve also even used these when my daughter bumped her head to bring down the swelling so versatile. Could have loads of uses
Happy with them
I found these even more convenient than using filled frozen water bottles in my ice bath as they don’t take up anywhere near as much space, freeze in a few short hours so ready to use again in a good length of time, I prefer to do my dip on a morning but my husband does his after the gym each day and we both use these to get the best temp in the water, good strong and durable casing on each and the price is great (we did get a second pack) highly recommend even tho we don’t use them for the intended purpose
Ordered these to replace some aging ice blocks. They do the job as expected, and I like the different colours – better than boring old blue! Don’t take up too much room due to the slim profile and no issues with them deforming. Listed as BPA free and with no reason to believe otherwise, at 7.99 for 5, these are good value for money and I would buy them when I next need some more.
The pack of 5 ice packs are good quality and haven’t leaked. They are nice and slim so don’t take a lot of room in the freezer or your cool box / bag. They all work as expected and keep the lunches chilled. Value for money.

These ice blocks arrived as a shrink wrapped stack that also includes an information sheet.
They’re thinner than most and this is really useful as they can be placed between items in a cool bag or slipped down the sides. They have expansion holes in the centre and this makes them easier to handle.
We used these recently when we visited the Peak District and bought some food from our favourite butcher. We put the food (both frozen and chilled) in a cool bag around 3:00pm and used these blocks (along with a couple of others). When we arrived home at 11:00pm everything was still frozen/chilled.
These blocks are perfect for a small bag or lunch box or as an addition to larger blocks in a large cool bag. They’re good quality and at 7.99 for five (1.60 each) they’re not bad value so they get 5 stars.
Seems good so far. I use 2 of these in a coolbag to keep my lunch cold. I put them in at 6am and the packs are still cold by midday. They are fairly bulky, but I’d rather they worked and kept things cold so I think the larger surface area works well. I may experiment by adding more packs to the bag to keep lunch extra cold, but I’m probably just over anxious about food hygiene and refrigeration. I’m interested to see how well they work at keeping food cold when I’m on longer shifts on the road with no access to a fridge. Will update then.
Slim size so don’t hog the freezer and fit in easily to picnic lunch bags. Totally recommended as fitting the bill and not big and annoying. Jolly colours – irrelevant wrt purpose but still cute! (Am obviously a bit shallow)
This is a set of 5 plastic ice-packs by K-Mart, in a slimline style. Each pack is a different colour (pink, green, orange, purple and blue).
I like the style of these as they’re shaped with rounded smooth edges and are wide enough to cover a good surface area in a lunch or cooler bag, but they’re still slim in terms of depth. They’re easy to use and I find easier to store in the freezer at home than the chunkier packs.
Each one has two round holes in it, though I’m not entirely sure why. Perhaps to better allow condensation to flow off, or to pick it up differently if you can’t get it around the edges, or maybe it freezes more quickly. I’m not really sure!
The plastic is BPA-free and food safe, which is important. I’ve found they do stay icy cold for a long time and they do the job well, keeping food and drink cooler for longer. I also use them sometimes to cool myself down or put on my head with migraines while waiting for my eye masks to re-freeze. I’d say they’re a good price for a set of 5 at 6.99 and the quality seems good so I’d like to hope they’ll last well over the years.
This is a set of five freezer blocks for home use. Each is blue, as expected, as I prefer this colour scheme to the more colourful set that is available. Each block has two holes through the middle, which helps keep the shape of the block and stops the centre from expanding unnecessarily. This is a welcome feature.
The blocks are quite thin, and this is an advantage in my view, as they can easily be slipped into a pocket in a cool bag or positioned around the outside of food in a cool box. You can also use as many as you need or as space allows.
The blocks are made of plastic that is safe around foods, and I think that they are good value too. They freeze easily, and I have no hesitation in recommending them.
Small and easy to fit into the freezer which is a massive plus. WIll keep your food cool for awhile but because of its small stature the cool won’t last long as some bigger bricks. The bonus here is definitely being a space saver in both freezer space and space in whichever bag or lunch box you use.
My daughters like their freezer packs to be coloured and their favourite colours are orange and pink, so those two have gone into use. They freeze well and go their job, but are quite bulky.
Nice and colourful freezer packs, something a little more lightweight to use in my husband and children’s pack ups daily especially as they’re thinner than the ones we have so takes up a little less space which is great. It’s a shame they have 2 big holes in the middle, would be better if they were whole but makes for easy carrying at least! At around 1.40 each they’re not bad (plus because they’re thinner they freeze faster!) yes I’d still reccomend
A pack of 5 in different colours.
Bit of a mystery. Firstly these do not contain a liquid but are said to contain a gel. Never seen this but it did work. There are holes in each pack and whilst they do make handling easier, they do reduce the amount of material inside hence how long they keep cool.
There are various safety warning on the label. I know you have to be careful but mention is made of the stopper, which seems to be hermetically sealed and what to do if you eat the contents!
A very convenient size as it fits a lunch box so a big plus.
Price wise at just over 1 each at the time of review I think is in line. So might be a useful addition for you.
I have some ice blocks but they’re rather hefty so I was looking for some lighter weight ones. These are ideal for my purposes but be aware that they come with a choking hazard warning due to having a small ‘stopper’ at the top of each pack. As I say, not a problem for me, but just something to be aware of
