Good for everyday walking, plenty of pockets. The trousers also have pull in cuff bottoms which you don’t get on some walking pants, which helps when the weather is not so good outside

The item is nicely light, looks good and comes with a nice belt. Not sure if it is waterproof (it does seem perharps water resistant for a mild shower) but i did not test this as i had to return. It stretches pretty well, and converts to shorts pretty neatly.

Unfortunately had to return because my regular size (UK14) runs really large for this item. probably should size down as it has got some good stretch.

Love these! Brought a second pair for work. Sizing is good, material is soft and water resistant and doesn’t feel sweaty against your skin like some can. Lots of useful zip pockets and a belt wich I’ve not had to use with them.

I’ve purchased these in a size 8 having rejected the size 12 (which I normally am) and the size 10. They come up huge especially around the hips! Haven’t worn them yet but like the feel of the material and the zip off legs.

These trousers are comfortable, good fit and light weight. I love that I can pull the draw string bottom to go inside my wellies.

The pockets are large, versatile and easy to access. They have good zips to keep everything safe.

Room for phone, keys, poo bags and anything else you take. Has belt loops , so you can clip treats for easy access.

Very pleased with them. Haven’t washed yet. Will update, but I don’t foresee any problems

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’m not sorry I got these trousers, but I must question what was going on in the designer’s mind when they put them together. There are a number of design flaws that could have been avoided with a little more thought.

    Pros

Nice thin material (ideal for hot summers – probably good for holidays in other countries since it is never warm here)
Proper fabric not that vile shiny parachute material (though that does mean the trousers crease easily)
Good colour intensity (the black is really black)
Good quality stitching, zips and buttons
Easy to unzip the lower legs to convert to shorts
Generous sizing around the waist (I am a chubby 14 or a small 16; I got size 14 but they would stretch to a small 16 with the elastic at the waist)
Spacious (so you can do the splits or rock climbing or whatever vigorous activities you like quite comfortably)
No fake pockets (I really hate fake pockets, they are annoying and pointless)
The thigh pockets have a vertical zip down the side of the thigh (not around the curved seam, which is purely ornamental)
Belt loops and a free belt!

    Cons

Made for giraffes (I’m 5’8″ and they’re too long for me, so I have to turn them up at the bottom)
The shorts are too long (they unzip a couple of cm below the knee, so they’re too long to be shorts, but too short to be crops)
The hand pockets are way too deep (the bottom of the pockets is half way down the thigh pockets; no-one’s arms are that long)
The thigh pockets are quite small (you might fit a smart phone or your cigarettes in a thigh pocket, but not much else)
The back pocket is quite deep (which means you will end up sitting on whatever you put in there; be careful with your bunch of keys)
All of the pocket fabric is mesh (which makes them very light and they move about a lot, indeed I almost immediately caught some mesh in a pocket zip, which was annoying and is likely to happen a lot with empty pockets; I might pop a couple of stitches in to keep the mesh in place, or sew a slim patch down the inside to stop the mesh catching in the zips)
The flaps on the front pockets is stitched on the wrong side (so you have to reach round to the front to unzip them, instead of just reaching at the hip)
The free belt is not very wide and the buckle does not seem especially robust (but to be honest I have not put it to the test, so this is pure speculation)

These walking trousers are true to size and comfortable to wear. Lots of zipped pockets. One drawback though is the lining of the pockets are not very robust (although they look as if they are sewn well), so care will have to be taken what is put in them. I will make sure keys are in a little plastic bag so that they do not catch on the lining.

Brought these for a outdoor trip 6 months ago. Ordered my normal size but these were bigger than expected, so had to order a smaller size.

Like the lightweight fabric, worked well in rainy conditions and all the pockets were really useful. Washes well and keeps it shape/size.

I wear these once every few weeks, normally when I watch my son play football and when I’m out in the rain. Bit thin for cold conditions but ok with leggings underneath. Overall happy so ordered another pair recently in a different colour.

Main downside is that the first pair are starting to fall apart. The zip on the leg has broken (with little use) and the button at the top fell off in the wash.

These are unexpectedly soft. They hang nicely and are great to wear. A tad on the large sidebut I don’t think that detracts from their superbness. I may get another colour in size down too.

These trousers were very comfortable when I wore them on a very hot holiday. I’ve got quite short legs and the zip was just below the knee. It might be a bit irritating of the zip was actually on the knee. Nice big pockets

Wore these for a multi-day trek and loved them. Lightweight, quick fry and comfyoodles of pockets and liked the elasticated cuffs (?!) as they let me ‘seal’ them around my boots. Would deffo buy agai

Love these trousers, though I would say to size up. Based on the chairs I got my size but they were a bit tight on the waist so I got the next size up and they were fine.
These are really well made and very comfortable. Good for warmer weather and kept me cool while hiking.

I tried on a number of different sizes of these trousers and have opted for the 8. I am normally a size 12-14. The 6 were too snug and the 10 were too big round the waist. I am pear shaped and normally struggle to find trousers that fit properly without a belt. These are comfortable and move with me. Legs cut off at the knee (not below). Very happy and look forward to backpacking in them for the next few months.

I brought these as a spare item before a safari in Kenya. I ended up living in them. They wash well. Look nice plenty of pockets cool and warm at the same time

I was so happy the trousers fitted, elasticated back and length perfect. The fabric is very soft and comfortable. Not worn on a walk yet but so far extremely happy and depending on how shower/waterproof they are, I won’t hesitate to buy again.

I took these pants to hike Trolltunga in Norway this past weekend and was SO impressed with the fit, level of comfort & breathability, ability to quickly dry (after falling in a stream), and also looked great (I got so many compliments and shared the product link with many). I read from the reviews that they ran big and recommended to size down (I would usually get a UK size 12 and ordered a size 10), and was happy I did so. The larger size would have been fine since the pants come with a belt, but the 10 fit perfectly. Couldn’t be happier with the value for money, 10/10 would recommend.

These are a nice fit, I am a normal 12 and got a medium, just enough room to add leggings in the winter, but cool to wear in the summer even when not converted to shorts. Leg length is good, and they look smart. Plenty of pockets, and come with a belt. The material feels thin, but tested in the Lakes and definitely waterproof and quick drying. I liked them so much I ordered another pair.

I bought size six, because that’s what size I am. These are not UK six. However I liked everything else about them and as they came with a belt I kept them. They are very comfortable, dry very quickly, and lots of pockets.

I bought these for those days when the weather is chancy based on other reviews that praised how quickly the trousers dry. For me the fit is fine (size 14). The zip pockets seemed like a good idea but I dont think they have quite enough room in the side or back pockets. The material is all man made and I find this makes me very hot but on breezy days its not so bad. The bottoms of the trousers have loops so that the hem can be pulled in over the sock. I have tried zipping off the bottoms and the length of the shorts is fine (below the knee) but I’m not sure I could do this if I was out and about. Im quite happy and will check back if I encounter any problems.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought these as work trousers – festival bar work and security. I was so pleased, I’ve just ordered a second pair size 20 black.

The fit was good and they are nicely stretchy for bending. The zipped pockets are great for security and pretty roomy – phone, car keys, cards etc all fitted in fine. I usually buy 31″ leg, and these are perhaps a tad short but when worn with my work hiking boots, they are a perfect length.

As another reviewer noted, the fabric is rustly but so are other hiking trousers I own and more expensive ones too. The zip off legs aren’t too fiddly – the zips maybe aren’t going to last for years, but it’s nice to have the option.

The one thing I didn’t like was the bright yellow elastic zip pulls on the pockets of the black trousers. They drawer attention to parts of me better skimmed over lol. For a couple of pounds, I bought replacement elastics that are all black, job done. The belt is also not 100% black – it has greenish stripes. So no good for work, but I wasn’t worried about the belt anyway.

As I say, I ordered a second pair, so thumbs up from me.
