Realise, the old expensive hard to get solid leather belts are substandard in the terms of buckle. This battle is so good if it’s how you want it to. Also looks like good quality, not solid leather, but up there 9/10
Saying that they don’t seem to sell any solid leather versions, but neither do nearly anyone else.
A good comfortable belt which is easily adjustable. Good markings on the back to adjust the length if needed. I’d recommend going on the larger side and then trimming if you want to.
The ratchet system gives far more adjustment than normal belts and unlike others they trim to a size first making life easier if you are nervous about getting scissors to your new purchase.
Up to you if you like the colour and style, I do, that’s why I bought it, but colour and style is your choice.
When you’re looking for a smart belt that adjusts in the smallest variations, this is the one – I had a draw full of belts, with extra holes (on both ends of the regular ones!) and now they’ve all gone in the charity bag – I’ve bought 2 of these, one blue / one black – and I’m sorted! Great adjustment system, always looks smart!
Received this belt well packaged within a presentation box. The belt is very high quality looking with a carbon fibre effect both on the buckle & the belt itself. Easy to set length of belt to suit & has a ratchet mechanism for fine adjustment.
Very pleased; good belt of what seems to be high quality, and the fact it was too long means that I had to cut it (good use for the wire cutters!) Just hope it lasts. Too long is of benefit as you just need to trim it, but if it is too short it is of no use; unless you intend to get slimmer!
If unsure of size go for the larger size as easy to cut down with no detriment to look.
I wasn’t sure about the looks at first, but after comparing to two other belts this is definitely my favourite. And the ratchet mechanism feels really good, I really feel in control of how tight I want my belt to be at any particular time of day. I will update on durability in the months to come.
You cut the belt down to your perfect size, put it on, tighten as required, and they don’t slip – ever! Plus they look as good as new months (even years) later, even with constant use.
As I stated in the heading, don’t buy any other belt.
