Non sar certamente un trepiede top di gamma ma sotto le 100 a mio parere il meglio che si pu trovare.
molto robusto e versatile, un pochino pesante ma nulla di eccessivo
EDITED : I couldn’t be more pleased when K&F contacted me to make this right. Per my conversations with them, there was a manufacture defect of the one I received after they received the return it was only then noted. They went above and beyond to correct this with me. I have to say I am loving it once more.
It took a bit to figure out how this tripod works and I almost returned it, but watched the video and played with the knobs–presto, it does what the description said it does. Nothing missing as first suspected, and I think I’m going to have a lot of uses for it.
a great product but like all new items take a little time to get yourself familiar with its capabilities. recently used this at a wedding and also on a long exposure shoot.
I found it perfect in both fields of photography slightly on the heavy side but compared to lower priced tripods. The build quality is far superior. It is worth paying that little bit more for a tripod of this quality and you will only buy it once
I make YouTube videos which often include equipment on a desk/bench for which I want over-head shots. I bought this K&F tripod because of the horizontal bar that allows the camera to be positioned “looking down” to things beneath it on a bench but I’ve also used it more generally (with a Panasonic Lumix FZ82) as a general tripod and it’s solid as a rock and easily adjustable to all kinds of positions. It’s great for astrophotography for example and I’ve got some really solid pictures and video of the moon surface that would never have been possible hand held.
When I bought this I inadvertently picked the wrong model. I meant to buy the variant that has leg adjustments using twisted adjusters but actually got the one with “flip locks” instead. Now I have that I am very glad I made the mistake as I love how quick an easy it is to unlock/lock the legs into place so, on balance, I’d probably go straight to flip lock rather than twist lock if I were you.
This is my go to run and gun tripod. Great build quality and amazing functionality, light and easy to put in your case when you go travelling. Also, you can use it like a monopod. Everything works exceptionally smoothly, strong and stable. Just turning the legs into place feels premium and the quick release really is quick release. Recommend i
You can probably get less functional sturdier tripods for the money. BUT this is a great compromise between quality and functionality. It is better made than you think although it’s long term life I can’t say as yet. It allows almost a unique height range that I could only achieve otherwise using studio supports or booms. It allows overhead video shots on the fly as well as in the studio. For me it will be primarily for studio use for flexible quick setups when i need a shot in a hurry. But I have used it outside and I have achieved angles with a remote that would have been difficult otherwise. I like it. I’d pay more for a deluxe version with perhaps better locking leg positions and stronger springs and hinges. But it’s good, not a toy or gizmo but a practical tool.
I have just received the tripod and haven’t used it yet just gone through the motions of setting it up. First thing I found is the so called manual doesn’t help a bit. I detached the monopod leg but the rhread on top is too big for the camera. After mucking around I found that the ball head unscrews disclosing a threaded piece that screws into the mono pod top complete with ball head to which the camera can be fixed via the quick release plate. I have always used a quick release plate on other tripods and have just ordered a spare for this one although at 19 is ridiculously expensive. Th extending arm is very useful for taking tabletop photos but I have found unless it is straight out it cannot be clamped tight and will flop down with the weight of the camera, That’s the down side. The up side is that it is solid, can be extended to the height required easily, and seems it will satisfy all my needs. There is a utube video which helps a lot.
This product looks great when you get it out of the box, it comes in a nice padded carry case with handles and a shoulder strap. It comes with basic instructions that give the user the required info to be able to use all features of the tripod.
The tripod itself is very stable and feels extremely well made. The aluminium construction is nice, but does add a little weight, though for the functionality it’s a small sacrifice.
A single leg is detachable allowing for the conversion to a monopod, which as per the images, can be used with the ball head mount. This can be done with no tools required, which gives great flexibility when on location, as it doesn’t require extra gear to be carried.
Towering over me at around 2m tall when fully extended or when reconfigured the centre post can be mounted upside down. The horizontal arm allows for the perfect position for top down shooting or macro photography, giving a reasonable reach with good stability.
Overall I am very impressed with this tripod and would definitely recommend it, especially when compared to competitors offerings, which generally have a much higher price point. K&F have produced a great product that is a pleasure to use.
Ok, I have 8 light stands and 4 or 5 tripod and why did I buy another one?
Well it is very simple!!
I really need it. I dont just buy stuff I like and I think I need, no!!! Never.
I have tons of camera gear but I buy only and only when it makes sense.
So why another tripod?
Did you guys see the pictures?
Ohhh yess, I was waiting for so long to get a TALL high tripod. For 2-3 things.
Let me explain.
1. I take pictures of real estate properties and this is precisely what I needed. I used before the monopod to put the camera in the air to get that straight from the front angle like we see in magazines. Well, sometimes I shoot like 3-4 pics and blend them to get the best results and for that I really need a tripod. Yes, this is tall enough, mind though, I strongly recommend to put the backpack or something relatively heavy attached to the hook to make the tripod more stable.
2. I film youtube channel videos and I have 1 camera and all the time I had to move the other tripod and put it back and it was not annoying, extremely annoying. Took easily 10-15 min extra just for the tripod setup, also the video was not the same(not from the same angle). Now I got this extra and I use to move it in different places/ angle.
3. Table top view for pics of video.
I have a 35 mm lens that I use most of the time and I film table top style, so if its 35mm it means I have to place the camera more high to get the scene so this really helps, check the video i made, makes sense what I am explaining here.
Besides this got the transverse bar which is a super cool and helpful feature.
There are so many combinations you can do with this tripod, to understand better check the video.
Pros: quite a few as mentioned before.
Relatively medium heavy I would say, a heavy tripod is the one used for TV cameras 10kg probably. This one you can feel is strong, I have also a carbon fiber tripod, super conveninent but seems so sensible.
Got a carrying case which is cool, for this one I use it, mind it will not fit in your regular photography backpack(inside), you have to attach it to the side.
How is the ball head?
Well its easy to move around, has marks for degrees which is very helpful for panoramas and 360 virtual tours, I dont remember if i ever use this feature but its a bonus to have it.
Can be used as a monopod and its easy to set up, check the video. Mind when you put the leg back, secure it properly.
Legs easy to open, better than the previous models. This is a good improvement, you know you fold and unfold the tripod for 10 times a day, has to be an easy operation.
Material? Aluminium.
Suitable for? Most of the cameras, mind though when using tele lens, if you go for a 400mm then mind to set your tripod in the right position.
Cons? Nothing at the moment.
Price?
You know, you go out one night and spend more than this tripod costs.
For what it delivers price wise, nothing to say.
Fair price, yes.

I was expecting this to be solid and I was not disappointed. Though there is a couple of things I noticed from the first inspection which I hope will not become an issue when shooting. When the legs are fully extended there is a little bit of play from the bottom legs which may end up bending the bottom legs over time (something to watch out for). This should not be an issue as I will be placing a mark 4″ up from full extension of the bottom legs and extending to here. If you are buying for the full 72″ just be aware that when at its max it may be susceptible to a bend or damage. There is a 3.75″ extension bracket that comes with so probably best to use this when max height is required!
The mono leg that separates from the tripod could become an issue as you must remove the ball head completely and fix it on the mono. If you are hard pressed for timing this will be an issue, a spare ball head might be worth getting if this is the case.
The ball head is really good to work with though another thing I will say is the horizontal extension has a little bit of a wobble in it. When everything is locked up and vertical it is solid! A really excellent tripod overall. Would highly recommend. Taken from experience: a cheap tripod will disappoint…. This is nearly double that of the cheaper brands but it will keep its value for sure!
Edit: Missing the shoulder strap off the carry bag. Emailed support who very promptly replied and sent the strap out at no extra charge. Best customer service I have had in a long time, no messing about.
For the price I wasn’t expecting too much if I’m honest, a tripod with ball head and horizontal column for this sort of money doesn’t sound that likely to be great. However I’m pleasantly surprised.
The ball head is pretty smooth and has an Arka compatible top plate on it so my Z6 with Mieke grip fit straight onto it. There’s a bubble level that’s easy to see even with the camera in place, which is nice as a few I’ve seen end up difficult to see once a camera is mounted.
The centre column has a section that can be flipped to be horizontal which could be useful at times. It’s reasonably compact when folded up, and comes with a nice quality padded carry bag with a shoulder strap as well. The legs have 3 positions and one gets the centre column pretty close to the ground so low level shots should be ok. I do like the option to remove one leg and attach the ball head to it as a monopod, very clever and really handy so you don’t have to carry one of each with you when packing.
For the money I’d say this is a good buy. I can’t comment on durability yet but it’s good so far.
So I finally pulled the trigger and bought an expensive tripod. This was available as a lightning deal, and am I glad I purchased it!
First the quality, immediately, out of the box, you know that this is a quality product, the carrying bag it comes in is very high quality! And once you take out the tripod, you can feel all the details and the weight of it.
So I am a professional photographer and Videographer, and for some reason though that it was acceptable to use light stands as a replacement for a tripod. IT IS NOT! It’s actually quite scary that i thought it was OK to put my expensive cameras and lenses onto a light stand that is not build to hold such equipment, let alone a cheap light stand as well.
I noticed that this is an extremely versatile tripod, being able to support my camera at versatile yoga like angles for macro photography and it doubles as a mono-pod! If you have not yet used monopods they are perfect for run and gun shooting like at events and weddings!
Overall excellent build quality, and price to value ratio!
I purchased this tripod to pair up with my Sony A7 III in May 2019, and I have been able to test it thoroughly.
It comes in a carrying case which is useful to store the tripod in and put it in your check-in luggage. I have taken a lot of long exposures with this tripod and haven’t faced any issues with camera shake.
I wanted a tripod which wouldn’t break the bank yet had different features which could come in handy in the future. For instance one of the legs can screw off to become a mono-pod, and the centre column can be turned horizontally and the camera can be faced down to take some flat lay shots.
Earlier this year I purchased a few items all together from K&F just before my trip to the Middle East, this included the tripod, some filters and step up/down rings. I had never used K&F before this purchase but decided to go for it. To be honest I couldn’t be more happier. They are a solid company and have some great products.
I bought this on 10 Jun 2019 – and it seemed fine – but now it’s already broken! One of the legs had a hard time extending and getting back together and when I had to use a little force it broke… I’ve used it less than 8 times!? I should get my money back…
Update:
The seller contacted me after my review and wanted to help out. I mailed a picture of the tripod and a brand new tripod was sent to me right away. I’ve had it a couple of days now, and yesterday I brought it with me on a wedding shoot – and it worked fine.
I hope this one doesn’t break since it seems like a really nice and well built tripod. I have my fingers crossed. I’ve changed my rating from 1 to 4 stars
I bought this to record overhead videos. It’s a more practical solution than hanging a camera at the bottom of a tripod centre column (which this tripod can also do).
I have recorded three or videos with it so far. I would have liked the horizontal column to be slightly longer, but overall it’s excellent. I’m really pleased as it is going to allow me to set up a more practical overhead camera rig.
In my attached video I show you how it can work, but I’m still playing with the setup. I may sit the tripod off from the other side of my table and hang it over the other way. I have a few options.
The overall package is good. The included case is high quality and comes with a shoulder strap. A simple manual and an allen key are provided as well.
Although I have only had the tripod a few days, it is clear that it is built to last. The legs and centre column are all solid. The horizontal column can spin around 360 degrees, but you may find the tripod becomes unstable if you have the column fully extended.
The ballhead is also high quality and wll be able to hold all the cameras I have.
Check out my video to see how the tripod works in more detail and be sure to post any questions about anything I did not cover 🙂
I bought this tripod for a couple of events shooting video and stills. Did not want to go cheap as I need it to withstand travelling and being thrown about/bumped into, but did not want to spend a fortune as it will be thrown about and bumped into!! I chose this one as it is tall, so I can shoot above the heads of a crowd if needed and also has a detachable monopod.
First impressions when it arrived was how solid it felt, not very heavy but more solid. The bag that comes with it is really well made, it is not just a thin cheaply made freebie, but a good quality storage bag with a comfortable strap.
I noticed how smooth the legs unfolded and the center column rises and falls, the engineering is good and everything is tight and positively locks in place.
Two of the best features that you don’t see on many tripods are that you can lock the ball head, but has a separate screw that loosens to let you pan, and also the way the center column can be changed to horizontal. I did this and it gives a better and smoother pan (more control for video), also good for landscape photography when creating a panorama.
I am 6’3″ (190cm) tall and even when I stand on my toes I cannot see through the viewfinder when fully extended, it is a tall tripod!! It closes up to a really compact size, the center column inverts so the camera can be placed almost on the floor if needed.
The only negative I have is that the instructions are very basic. It gives the use, setup and warnings but there is another small tube and screw that I have worked out is used when changing to monopod. It is not a big issue and can easily be worked out, but with the quality and detail in the rest of the product I think that this could be better.
The most important thing is that I feel confident putting my expensive camera and lens on this tripod without any worries. I would definitely replace it with the same model if this one was stolen.
One very happy customer!!
I personally think this was a better option than the carbon ones as I live in Scotland, and it gets very windy here, the bit of extra weight will definitely help keep my camera steady when there are big gusts of wind. It is lightweight enough that you can strap it onto your bag, I usually travel and hike with my Sony camera and this is definitely going to help me improve my landscape photography. I’ve just recently bought an ND filter as well, so can’t wait to get some quality results!
I noticed that this is an extremely versatile tripod, being able to support my camera at versatile yoga like angles for macro photography and it doubles as a mono-pod! I am not very experience with a mono-pod, and would never buy one on its own, but I am starting to enjoy it, it is definitely the super light option.
Overall excellent build quality, and price to value ratio!
So I’m in the market for a tripod. Hmmm….but which one to choose? There’s hundreds – and if you’re easily swayed by the Youtubers, camera shops and magazines, the only possible way forward – unless you’re a complete newbie – is carbon fibre. But take one look at CF tripods and you’ll see that they’re at least 200+ – probably nearer 300.
Can I warrant paying that? No. So it’s going to have to be an aluminium one. Let’s see what’s available.
Hmmm….what’s this – ‘K&F Concept’….never heard of them. If I’ve never heard of them, they can’t be any good, right?
WRONG!
I ordered this tripod because of the range of options it has available –
– Ball & Socket Head;
– Invertable (is that a word?) centre section to get camera down to ground level;
– Ability to mount centre column at right angles;
– Option to unscrew one leg to become a monopod;
– Quality (and I mean quality) carry bag;
– Centre hook to hang bag/weight on to improve stability.
And it had 10% off when I bought it!
It’s a well machined piece of kit. It feels good. It’s not heavy – but it’s not lightweight either. It feels reliable. The legs invert for carrying/storage so the head of the tripod is hidden by the folded legs. Unhinging the legs gives you the option of several ‘click-stops’ for setting up.
You can get your camera down to ground level with this – or up to about 6 feet.
I love it. Great bit of kit – and a bargain price too.
I’ve since learned that K&F also make CF tripods – it might be worth a look at one of those if that’s the way you lean…
Oh my.
I’ve been a big fan of K&F Concept for quite some time now, and they’ve just done it again – smashed the competition out of the water. This tripod is just incredible for the price, offering so much for such a small price and such a tiny package!!!
The tripod weighs virtually nothing and it’s unbelievable how high it can go considering the tiny tiny size it goes down to when collapsed.
The head is removable so you can put video heads or other stills heads on it. There’s a sprung hook at the base of the central pole which you can hook a bag on to add weight for additional stability. The central column can lift out and flip sideways to get perfect shots pointing directly down for product, food, or nature photography. Each leg can be positioned at any angle thanks to the buttons at the top which allow repositioning with a smart click. Most amazing of all, one of the legs can UNSCREW AND BECOME A MONOPOD!!!
I’m astounded – I’ve never seen a tripod like it, and the quality is right up there with the best of them. It leaves my Manfrotto in the dust, by Benbo, Vinten and Vanguard too. The only tripod I have which competes with this in terms of quality is my Miller Compass 12 video head on Solo carbon Fibre legs- and that cost me 1,600 and weighs 6kg and barely fits in my car let alone a rucksack.
If you’re buying this tripod (my one is the 72″ with ball head), you’ve made the right choice.
My first impressions of this product was very good. When taking the product out of the box I was surprised that the bag that covers and protects the tripod was very high quality. The tripod itself is compact when packed away, and as I was first setting the tripod up I was impressed with the feel, weight and the quality of the product. It is reassuring that I will be trusting my camera equipment to a well built and sturdy tripod. The versatility of the tripod is a photography dream. The ease of the twist locks on the telescopic legs make setting up to the desired height a breeze. The monopod as an extra feature is a bonus that many more expensive tripods just don’t feature. Being able to set the camera mount up in multiple positions is great. The ability to mount my camera as low as possible brings with it an amazing way to shoot low level pictures that suit wildlife subjects. The boom arm was needed to undertake macro photography and this was sturdy without any shake. Just what is needed when their is limited access for the tripod legs. I did like the hook that lets you add weight to the tripod, not that its needed unless the weather conditions are severe enough.
Overall I am more than pleased with this tripod. It will be a great addition to my equipment. Will it turn me into a world famous photographer, no (unfortunately) but it will give me more opportunities to improve the quality of my photos and bring different perspectives to photographing subjects.
I ordered this tripod as I needed a lightweight, compact, sturdy travel tripod for my trip.
I read many reviews from several travel tripods and settled on this one.
I am so glad I did as this tripod is perfect, it’s so lightweight, compact and hardly noticeable when carrying for a full day.
It comes with its own bag included within the price. Some other tripods you have to pay additional price for the bag.
It folds down to such a small size and the weight is very light.
The tripod is sturdy enough to hold my Canon 5div and a 24-70 f2.8 lens.
The legs can be adjusted so it gets low to the ground for when I’m taking landscape photos.
The head of the tripod the middle section pivots so it can be angled over railings so you don’t miss that shot or get any unnecessary objects in the way.
My trip involved lots of walking up mountains, some very uneven terrain and some less than ideal conditions. Such as rain and wind, the tripod managed perfectly and that is why I’m giving it a 5 star review.
Just ensure when in heavy wind the tripod is setup correctly before attaching your camera.
Attached are some photos from a recent outing for sunset.

I purchased this tripod to take long exposure shots of the sea. For fun, I took the same shots with my husband’s Gitzo carbon fibre tripod.
In terms of equipment, I mounted a Canon 6D Mark II with a Marumi 6 stop ND filter. I took exposures of around 10-30 seconds in winds of 12 mph gusting to 16mph. Yep, I checked the wind speed!
My feeling is that the biggest difference between the two tripods is the weight in transit. Carbon fibre is lighter than aluminium but in actual use both tripods are rock solid.
I should say that because the Gitzo is over 600, the K&F is exceptional value for money. I found it sturdy, well constructed, and I really liked the fact that the main tripod column has another hidden column inside it like some sort of Russian doll. It took me some time to figure out where it was but once I did I was very satisfied with myself. 🙂 Once you pull it out, it can be rotated transversely so as to mount your camera in portrait mode. Brilliant!
Suffice to say that I couldn’t tell the difference between the seascapes I took with this K&F tripod and the Gitzo, which just goes to show for the hundredth time that it’s not the gear you have but the skill you have that matters.
As for micro movements affecting camera shake, I believe that both tripods in real world use probably had about the same. In the end, it came down to my ability to use them.
I’ve included some shots of the K&F tripod because I feel so strongly about this product that I think it’s important to show off the build quality. I really like it. For the money, it’s an absolute winner.
