Paired easily to my ps5. No interference or lag. If your still using wires on your headset this will enable you to use any Bluetooth headset with mic so your free to roam and play. For the price it’s a great little gadget to have whether it’s PC or games consoles. Recommended

This Bluetooth transmitter comes in a retail cardboard box and inside you’ll find the dongle. It is small and lightweight and is designed to transmit audio from your PS5 to your own Bluetooth headphones or earbuds.

Setup is extremely simple as you place the dongle in a USB-A port on your PS5 and put your headphones into pairing mode and they will connect. I did find that if I plugged the dongle into the rear port on the PS5, then the sound would distort and crackle a little bit depending on where I moved my head. Moving the dongle to the front eradicated the problem so I guess the headphones couldn’t communicate well with the dongle when it was hidden behind the PS5.

There was no lag in the audio and the sound was the same quality as when I connect my headphones to other devices which is good. Just to confirm, you can’t use the microphone on your headphones with this dongle, it will only transmit audio to your headphones.

A cheaper alternative to be able to use your existing Bluetooth headphones with your PS5

Kionex Bluetooth transmitter promises to allow you to connect any set of Bluetooth headphones or earphones to a games console or computer.

In the box you get a small USB dongle inside an antistatic bag. The plastic feels a bit light and flimsy but shouldn’t really get damaged due to it’s relatively low profile. Connecting it up to my PS5 I was surprised at how easy it was to pair. The sound is ok and will be dependant on your headphones, but there is one major draw back when it comes to gaming. It’s a transmitter only. This is clearly stated on the product page but many may not realise that means no chat. When it comes to a gaming headset you really want the ability to communicate.

A fairly affordable solution if you typically play solo experiences and don’t want to invest in a dedicated headset.

Since my PC lacks Bluetooth to connect directly to my headphones, I also tried it on my computer. a reliable Bluetooth audio transmitter. good craftsmanship and quality. simple to connect.

This Bluetooth adaptor works so easily. I plugged it in amd my Galaxy Buds Pro connected almost instantly!! The connection was strong and the quality of the sound was excellent!! I was free to walk around, only dropping connection as I went downstairs, even then, it reconnected as soon as I was back in range.

The only issue I would say is the latency. For music, they’re perfect, but when watching YouTube videos, there was a very small but noticeable lag. Its only annoying once you see it, and to be fair, I was looking for it.

Overall, for the price and convenience this little gadget has to be recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars Really easy to use, work well bit just a bit of latency.

First of all, this is extremely quick to get up and going with. Once making sure my headphones were in pairing mode and my phones Bluetooth was off (which they default to) I just plugged this into my ps5 and they worked within seconds. I was dubious as to whether they would work, but they definitely do.

Just as a side note. I got a horrible cracking noise when I tried these in the back usb ports. When it’s in the front, it worked perfectly.

Also for the price point and my untrained ear, it sounded pretty good. Maybe not quite the same as if I plug in via aux in the controller, but more than adequate for me.

It can be a pain getting a true Bluetooth connection on the ps5, so for this price point I think this is a great product and well worth a try at the very least before you commit to a more expensive option.

4.0 out of 5 stars A reasonable no thrills adapter that works on ps5 - use the front usb po

The Kionex Gaming Bluetooth Audio Transmitter is a USB A Bluetooth adaptor that works with a range of devices and not just for gaming.

I was interested in finding out if the transmitter would add Bluetooth to TV with no onboard Bluetooth. It was a long shot and didn’t work but I have found use for the Kionex Transmitter with the PS5. As the PS5 doesn’t support Bluetooth audio out of the box the Kionex allowed me to use my own headphones.

It does feel a little over the money but it does the job.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI bought this item to use with my work laptop which is pretty old and antiquated but i have to use for Teams meetings. This gadget means i can use more comfortable Bluetooth headphones rather than my old wired headset. It was pretty much plug and play so nice and easy to set up and works great. A must for any devices without Bluetooth. I would say 9.99 at the time of review is good value for money for this dongle.

This item solves a problem – but not without its own problems. I have only had the sound come out as Mono not stereo (which means you will essentially hear the left and right channels as one singular channel – resulting in a thinner sound and not great for gaming accuracy). I am not sure if others have managed to get stereo sound out of it, this is on a PS4 so it may differ on other devices.

However, it has also solved a problem in that it allows you to use audio and headphones that you wouldn’t usually be able to – the connection I found to be stable once connected at a close distance, but it wasn’t always easy getting them connected initially.

Problems aside, it’s getting used a lot, and that tells its own story. It’s a not-perfect solution to a really annoying issue. Probably worth it at 9.99 for casual use.

    Four stars.

Useful device for connecting up bluetooth headsets given the ps5 cannot do that generally. It does function as expected and saves on using pricy headsets made directly for the console or wired devices. Works as expected and for the price is okay given it is literally a bluetooth dongle. Happy with it overall.

I was a bit skeptical when i first saw this, but when I received it and connected it to my ps5 and then turned on pairing mode on my headphones it instantly connected. It works like a dream. No delay or anything work perfectly.

I also tried it on my computer as my pc doesn’t have Bluetooth to connect to my headphones directly and it works as well as it did on ps5.

I am so happy that somethings work as expected. This works perfectly well with my son’s headphones on PlayStation 5. We have been trying for a while now and have finally found a working USB to make the little one happy . Thank you and I recommend this for anyone who is looking to use their wireless headphones with a playstatio
