I absolutely love the minimalistic look of this keyboard. The rgb looks stunning, and the brown switches sound amazing. The only complaint (if it even is one) is that I haven’t found a way to change the colour of the red rgb strips on the side of the keyboard. It’s a bit off-putting for me personally. But other than that you can’t really go wrong with this.
It’s an amazing keyboard, quality, weight, lighting are all so good but the keys are just non standard. I brought keycaps to customise it and omg it was a nightmare, i have some in wrong sizes and wrong places mainly because the keys are just so abnormal. The arrow keys are the stranges
‘d rate this gaming keyboard a solid 4 stars. While it doesn’t boast any groundbreaking features, it holds its own in terms of functionality and performance. The keys are responsive, providing a satisfactory gaming experience without any noticeable lag. The design is decent.
What sets it apart is its reliability for everyday gaming tasks. It’s not exceptional, but it gets the job done without any major hiccups. If you’re looking for a straightforward gaming keyboard that delivers decent performance without breaking the bank, this could be a practical choice at a 4-star level.
Im truly impressed with the brand koorui. The keyboard is absolutely fantastic. Build quality is a 10. Ergonomic design 10. All of the connection modes work and haven’t had a single issue with it so far. It fits standard keys so I was able to buy a pack of cheap keycaps and build something that would cost double or triple with other brands and would still have less features compared to this one. Absolute banger these keyboards, I whole heartedly recommend it. Also have one of their curved screens, and that thing was 150 cheaper than all the other brands and the color reproduction is a true 90% accuracy. I always love it when a company decides to do honest advertising and just makes good quality products that work and speak for themselves.
A nice and heavy keyboard. I opted for the blue switches because I am a fast touch typist. Hitting 120 words per min + on this fantastic keyboard. A great selection of RGB colours and effects. The round volume button makes life much easier. This keyboard does not bend or twist, like some do. The added bonus of two red and 2 brown switches is a plus. Can use this wired or wireless. I use wired whilst it is charging. The battery is very long lasting, unlike others on Amazon. It is easy to clean and keep clean. I cannot find a single fault with this keyboard. It is the perfect keyboard. The very long lasting battery (For Me) is perhaps the most important part of this keyboard. It’s a MUST BUY KEYBOARD, for sure!!!
I can live with the keys not delivering what’s shown on them as I’ve typed enough to know which key does what. So I press the pipe symbol and get a #, then I wonder why there’s two keys with pipe and forward slash printed on them, a mistake maybe? However, the enter key is just awful – it’s only a tiny bit bigger than the pipe/ forward slash key above it and smaller than the shift key below it. I’m constantly hitting the wrong key as I type and it’s just a bad design. I do like the dial wheel for volume though, that’s a game changer. Some of the keys have weird bits cut out of the parts that light up, which makes them hard to read. It’s not a great keyboard, but it’s mechanically sound.
Very nicely made – solid build with some good weight to it. Certainly feels sturdy. I opted for brown switches – nice feedback, some click, pretty quiet. The volume dial also presses for pause / play and that works nicely with the app that’s currently playing music (eg iTunes and a browser – presuming that YouTube is active).
Overall, very happy with it but I had to return it as it doesn’t place nicely with the s/w I’m using on my Mac (I need both a Return and an Enter key and I was hoping that Function + Enter would provide that functionality but it doesn’t.) Shame as I really liked it. Happy to recommend if you don’t have the specific need that I do.
My son bought this keyboard for himself, when I had a go on it I bought one for myself. Lovely keyboard to game (or type) with. I have only had it a couple of weeks and only used it in Bluetooth mode but so far no issues
For an entry level wireless mechanical keyboard, there is little more you can get for the money. Any more than 50 then it maybe would be a lower rating.
Keys feel nice, not too wobbly with nice stability and feels quite weighty. Keys feel fairly smooth. There is a lot of flex in the board too, but does not sound hollow! Compared to my stock Keychron C1, which is incredibly hollow.
USB decent for wireless connectivity, but the Bluetooth can be a little unreliable. Battery life is very fair for the price, supplied USB to USB C cable is adequately length. Switch puller included. Customisable and would do someone who isn’t an enthusiast, but could be a gateway drug to custom keyboards.
Took a gamble and don’t regret it. Reliable when in constant use for more than a month for typing and heavy gaming sessions. I was feeling anxious about the brand, Koorui who also make monitors, with this I believe being their first keyboard. But it’s great for the money. Again, for an 80% wireless mechanical, you’ll struggle to find the same quality at this price.
Has a really nice knob btw.
I purchased this keyboard around two months ago, and I am thoroughly impressed with its features and performance!
I opted for the brown switches, which provide a satisfying tactile feedback akin to the blue switches but without the loud click. Typing on this keyboard is an absolute joy. While the keyboard itself is constructed from plastic, it exudes a solid and high-quality feel. What truly stands out is the incredible value this keyboard offers for its price point.
Here are some of the remarkable features:
Swappable Switches: The ability to switch out the switches is a fantastic feature, allowing you to customize your typing experience.
RGB Lighting: Although it’s not customizable through software, the keyboard boasts numerous lighting modes and presets that are likely to cater to your preferences. You can even individually illuminate specific keys according to your liking. I recommend experimenting with it; it offers many of the standard RGB profiles found in most programmable keyboards, all conveniently preinstalled.
Battery Life: The battery life is, without a doubt, exceptional. your range may very depending on rgb settings and daily use.
Build Quality: its made out of plastic but feels very sturdy and well build. no squeaks when the keyboard is bent.
Cons:
The most significant drawback has to be the connection type switch on the back. Unfortunately, there is no feedback when switching between the modes (USB, Bluetooth, and wireless dongle). This makes it feel somewhat cheap, flimsy and hard to click into usb mode.
The 2.4 dongle also needs line of sight and should be kept relatively close to the keyboard.
In summary, this keyboard has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance, features, and value for money. While it does have a minor drawback in the mode-switching mechanism, it’s a solid choice for anyone looking for a versatile and high-quality keyboard.
I was very surprised by the quality you get for the price, I love this keyboard! First of all the switch’s are very tactile and colicky with a great sound( I got the blue switch’s which I highly recommend) and the key caps are great quality and feel nice, the leds are so cool and I love them. There’s so many different lighting effects some of which are activated by you typing which I had never seen before and amazed me. Now I have given this keyboard 4 stars because of two reasons. No 1 the leds are just a tiny bit not bright enough, in daylight i feel they lack the required brightness by just a bit and No2 the keys are just too small they had too pack so many keys into such a small space that they just made it too small and I often find that I press the wrong keys by mistake. So I do not recommend for anyone with big hands. And finally the enter key is not the normal shape so very off putting for some people. Overall the positives out way the negatives and it’s a great mechanical keyboard for the price!
For years I’ve used a membrane laptop style keyboards but just recently I’ve fancied a clicky type mechanical keyboard with switches and keycaps I could replace at a later date (if they become faulty or needed to change them)
I cannot afford to spend 150+ on an expensive Logitech keyboard with Cherry switches/keycaps so was forced to look at the cheaper end (much cheaper)
My requirements were Bluetooth 5, WIFI (just in case BT is a bit flaky) clicky switches, arrow keys, RGB (mainly just for backlighting) and then i figured a volume control knob (having a master volume is a big bonus for me)
What I like:
Good uniform RGB Luminance under the keys (apart from either side of the space bar where its a bit dimmer) and good luminance shining through ‘all’ the keycaps (which are Double-shot injection which is supposed to be more durable than ABS)
Nice aluminium volume control knob (unfortunately not hot swappable) that also allows you to pause YouTube videos by pushing it down.
Nice weight, key spacing and layout with the essential caps lock light (as well as battery and WIFI connection)
Separate arrow keys with quite a good gap away from the other keys.
Stable Bluetooth, easy pairing (windows 11) with imperceivable amount of typing lag (I have not tried gaming or the WIFI or USB-C connection)
2 height stands to bring the keyboard up at the back.
What I don’t like:
The keyboard FONTS look weird but the worst is the number keys (I guess they were trying to make it look different to other keycaps)
Limited cycling RGB effects (not programmable) with very limited static backlighting colours (although the LEDS are capable of displaying white it cannot be selected as a static backlight.
I assume they have adapted a US-ISO keyboard as there are two backslash keys (one above the enter and another above the Windows key)
What I’m on the fence about:
This keyboard uses Jixian 3 pin switches (hot swappable in this board & compatible with 5 pin) which ‘according to the internet’ are pretty much the cheapest and worst sounding/feeling switches you can buy (no wonder the listing didn`t specify which switches it used). Personally though (& this is very subjective) I quite like them, but they are quite loud and while I`m using this keyboard in public I’ve swapped out my most used keys with some far better AKKO V3 Cream blues (like the switches fitted but no click and a better sound and feel)
In conclusion:
I haven’t used a mechanical keyboard for over 25 years but as someone that has been around PCs and electronics for 40+ years this KOORI keyboard seems like a bit of a bargain. Yes it’s switches aren’t Cherry quality and the keycaps have a weird font but you might be happy with it straight out of the box (& then it really is a bargain ‘especially’ if it has a discount)
Personally I think this is a great starter mechanical keyboard (even identical layout DIY boards where you have to buy your own switches and keycaps are a lot more) with the potential to be great. Yes you can buy an EPOMAKER or Keychron for double the price, that has slightly better switches, keycaps and programmable RGB but for the same price you could customise this keyboard so it is totally personal to you (& you still might find you want to change the switches on the more expensive EPOMAKER or Keychron as they are very personal)
Lastly if you do not want a loud audible click – but like the feel of resistance – get the brown switch version.
I’m not an expert gamer but I can say this is a great quality keyboard. The keys are nice to press and very responsive. It doesn’t have the numeric keys but it didn’t make any difference when playing games. It has a wheel to control the sound volume which is great. And, obviously, the LED lights make it look even cooler.
This Gaming Keyboard is a compact and reliable one that delivers impressive performance for gamers. The mechanical switches provides a satisfying and precise typing experience, with a solid and responsive feel. The keyboard features customizable RGB lighting, allowing us to personalize the aesthetics to match our gaming setup. The compact design is great for saving desk space and ensures a comfortable hand position during gameplay. The detachable cable is a nice touch, making it easier to transport or store the keyboard. However, the lack of dedicated media keys and macro programming might be a drawback for some users who rely heavily on these features. Overall, the Logitech G Pro is a well-built gaming keyboard that strikes a good balance between performance, portability, and affordability.
– I previously owned the wired version of the KOORUI gaming keyboard and had a positive experience with it.
– The wireless version of this keyboard offers the same great functionality along with the added flexibility of wireless connectivity.
– The keyboard seamlessly switches between wired and wireless modes, allowing for convenient usage in different setups.
– The connectivity is reliable, ensuring a stable and uninterrupted gaming experience.
– The 26 RGB backlit keys add a visually appealing element to the keyboard, enhancing the gaming atmosphere.
– The UK layout is well-suited for users accustomed to that configuration.
– The keyboard features a rechargeable 4000mAh battery, providing long-lasting usage without the need for frequent recharging.
KOORUI gaming keyboard offers a seamless and versatile gaming experience, combining the convenience of wireless connectivity with the reliability of a wired keyboard.
PS: I am using it with a Mac Studio and experience no problems in getting connected at the boot(which was a problem with most non-apple keyboards for me)
A nicely solid little keyboard for gaming. Lights up well with built in LEDs that really adds to the gamer feel. Only comment is it does seems bit pricy for what it is. The printing on the keys does look a little washed out and the keys themselves don’t have quite the click to them that you get with the really expensive gaming keyboards.
That said, if you want something that does look nice and feels okay to use, it does the job fine.
Got this for my son and he love this keyboard. Keyboard impresses with its compact design, customizable RGB lighting, responsive mechanical switches, and versatile wireless/wired connectivity options. Whether you’re a casual gamer or a dedicated enthusiast, this keyboard offers a great combination of style and functionality, enhancing your gaming experience and adding a touch of flair to your gaming setup.
he Koori Gaming Keyboard and I must say, it’s an excellent choice for gamers looking for both performance and style. This compact 82-key mechanical keyboard offers an impressive array of features that make it stand out in the market.
The keyboard boasts an impressive 26 backlighting modes, each with RGB effects that allow for over 16 million colour combinations. This level of customization ensures that you can personalize your keyboard’s appearance to suit your mood or gaming setup perfectly. What’s more, the keyboard’s lighting has a memory function, so you can easily resume your preferred lighting mode after restarting your computer, saving you time and effort.
you get six extra switches, with two each of red, brown, and blue types. This feature allows you to experiment with different switch types and tailor the typing experience to your preferences. It’s a fantastic addition for those who appreciate versatility and want to find the perfect switch for their needs.
Build quality is another area where the Koori keyboard shines. It is robustly built, ensuring durability even during intense gaming sessions. The inclusion of three-way connection options is a welcome addition. Whether you prefer Bluetooth, USB cable, or the wireless dongle that comes with the keyboard, the Koori Gaming Keyboard has you covered. Moreover, the built-in rechargeable 4000mAh battery provides long-lasting power, eliminating the need for constant battery replacements.
Comfort is also a priority with this keyboard. The 82-key layout offers a compact design without sacrificing functionality. Additionally, the keyboard features two levels of flick-up feet, allowing for decent control over the typing angle. This versatility ensures that you can find the most comfortable position for extended gaming sessions or typing tasks.
I got this for my son when his became unresponsive. I have no idea about tech but he has told me that it is very good, responsive and he would highly recommend it. The only thing he misses on it is that his old one had a separate section of number keys but this was fine not really necessary he just needs to get used to it. 5
Very well compact design, brown mechanical switch acts similar to a blue without the click.
I personally run cherry red at home and Razer greens (similar to blues) at work and these browns are essentially the best of both worlds, where you want the tactile feeling without the click. I personally prefer one or the other but this is a legitimate mechanical keyboard & can vouch for the build quality.
Wireless design gives you the option between bluetooth, and USB dongle (magnetic to underneath the keyboard). Type C to charge and can be used as a wired keyboard too.
RGB options are versatile but honestly at this price (70 at time of review) it feels limited compared to the big branded fully programmable ones. See my video demonstrating the RGB options.
Can recommend if you want the portability to bring this with you to multiple places such as work and home.
But as a designated main keyboard, better investing on a less compact or full sized wired keyboard.
This Koori Gaming Keyboard is compact and robustly built with lots of features including three way connection, Bluetooth, USB cable and via a wireless dongle which is supplied. The unit comes complete with connection leads, key/switch pullers and a user guide which contains support details.
I connected my keyboard to my Windows 10 PC via Bluetooth and it connected first time. The 4000mAh battery should ensure a couple weeks use without a recharge – the only mystery is how do you know when the battery is fully charged?
The unit is nice and compact measuring 13 by 5.5 inches and rests on rubber footings – you can angle the front feet to rake the unit which makes for comfortable use. I also like the fact that its easy to configure the keyboard for Windows or Mac at the flick of a switch and the same applies to the connection choice of USB, Bluetooth or wireless dongle.
The important thing about a gaming keyboard is the keys, the mechanical keys on this water resistant keyboard have a superb action. The travel is relatively short but with a very affirmative action and not too noisy either. I found the keys suitable for gaming (I’m an intermediate level gamer) and adequate for typing too. There are 12 multifunction keys for things like multimedia etc. and the the overall keyboard layout is intuitive. I like the RGB lighting effects which you can vary or turn off if you wish.
Overall, this is a very good keyboard which is fast and responsive plus intuitive to use plus the ergonomics are very good too. At just over 70 (which can currently be reduced to around 58 with a voucher) it’s good value – I like this keyboard a lot.
This is an excellent, responsive keyboard. There isn’t much ‘travel’ on the keys which makes it very quick – certainly fast enough for its intended purpose of gaming.
It’s a beautiful keyboard that offers a range of colours to provide illumination. And you won’t believe the number of strokes each key will take before breaking down – let’s just say it’ll last a lifetime!
So, it’s a thing of beauty, purpose-built for gaming and the build quality is superb. It’s expensive, but according to the gaming aficionado in the family – my son – it’s ace, and just about at the right price point.
Verdict: a marvellous mechanical wonder that’s configurable and smart.
Very good keyboard! Probably every function I can think of is accounted for with the exception of macros, but for a compact this is to be expected.
Good feel on the brown switches from Jixian, quite low actuation force, but enough tactility to make it work for me. The switches are swappable, and you get a switch puller in the box (though no cap puller), as well as 6 spare switches, though these are 2x each option (red, blue, brown). Not a big deal really.
Keycaps are not great to be honest, the grey ones don’t have sharp etching so the characters look a bit blurry. They have a nice texture and curvature to them though.
The base is decent, with pretty low profile, but some awkward spacing of some keys. The volume knob is a nice touch. I do prefer a more tightly packed board, but some will appreciate that little bit of extra space if the smallest possible board is not needed. It does have some flex which makes it feel a bit cheap compared to some other products.
Overall, a good typing experience, good features, and decent looks make this a good value keyboard.
