We have been using this type of product as oven tray liners for many years, and these are as good as the best we have used. Simple to cut to size, and easy to wash. They do what they say they will do!
When used in conjunction with a BBQ, his product is probably wrong on a number of levels! However, to avoid the fuss of having an involved clean up, they seem to work as advertised.
Obviously these sheets might negate much of the point of a BBQ, where none of the fat drops down onto the coals or burners to generate extra smoke and flavour, but thought I’d give them a go even though I was sceptical that they weren’t just going to burn.
I washed one of the sheets (just in case) and chucked it on our clean BBQ then turned up the gas. Then placed the food on as usual and cooked it. After I finished I removed the sheet and washed it in the kitchen sink and the BBQ was left spotless.
However, I did experience a couple of issues:
The sheets are identical both sides, so when cooking it does have a tendency to slip around a bit (I resolved this by putting a heavy pan on one edge). Also, it’s not completely non-stick this can also make the aforementioned “slippiness” noticeable. I didn’t apply any oil to the sausages before cooking, so perhaps that’s a workaround.
The fat from the food obviously does not drip away – so sort of turning the BBQ into a giant frying pan – worth bearing in mind f you’re trying to reduce fat content of your food!
During cleanup, the burnt bits weren’t quite as easy to remove as I’d hoped and I had to use a washing up brush to scrub it. It is worth mentioning that it only took a couple of minutes and was still way easier than cleaning the whole BBQ.
Not sure how long these sheets will last, and I’ll probably only be using these sheets when I’m feeling lazy! I also might try them on our induction hob if we’re frying something particularly “spitty” as it’s way easier to stick the whole sheet into the sink and wipe off than cleaning the hob.
Oh, one other nice usage case; say you have vegetarian friends over, you could place this on your BBQ and cook their food without any fear of cross contamination – handy!

How did I go so long without these. Perfectly fit my double oven racks with no cutting required, YAY! I put one on each shelf in both ovens. I’ve spilled things on them and it wiped off easily, bo scrubbing. Quality is very good. There is no reason to replace these for years to come. The highest I’ve cooked on them is 400dg. Haven’t made anything for a higher temp.
I love BBQing but cleaning it afterwards is such a pain but these baking sheets make life so much easier that I have mentioned them to everyone I know the food cooks the exact same way as cooking on the grills but without sticking to them and once you are finished just give them a quick wash over and they are as good as new
Not only are the good for the bbq but also in the oven I was recommended to do this by the oven cleaner so I have one in the bottom of my oven all the time so that any spills can be cleaned up easily saving time just give it a quick wipe and it ready to use again they are a good size and can be cut to suit your needs you get plenty of use from each sheet making them good value for money
