Great size chart. I always struggle with sizes and find most things either too big or too small. This was as good as it gets. Use it for scuba pool sessions and it is great. Keeps me warm and stopped equipment rubbing.
I received this rash vest the day before heading out to Mozambique where I would be scuba diving, snorkelling and swimming under a hot Indian Ocean sun. Not only does the vest look great but it is perfectly comfortable to wear both in and out of the water and gave me the sun protection that I required. As a base layer underneath a wetsuit the vest was also comfortable. Design and performance at a great value price. What more can you ask for?
Great choice of colours and fitted well I chose my usual size and it was perfect.
I wear this under a wetsuit and it makes putting the wetsuit in and off very easy.
When the top arrived it had a distinct and strong plasticky smell which concerned me but after taking it out of the packaging and allowing it to air it was apparent that the smell was coming from the bag, the top itself was odourless.

I just love it when I find really good looking, comfortable and fashionable clothes and this Lafroi rash vest/skin is excellent! It fits perfectly. protects me from harmful sun’s rays when in the water either at home or abroad. I really like the design and want more like this as I can’t find anything as trendy and to my liking. More of these please!
Amazon told me to get medium but I went fir large and large fit perfectly – I’m 5’6 with quite a broad chest, around 43 inches. Wore at night for SUP and for snorkeling during the day – both in Croatia in June. Perfect fit and function.

Looking through the reviews, many people were suggesting that you order a size down. I was actually between sizes – the size guide said at 80KG I was a medium/large. That said, I’m pretty top heavy, with a larger chest and not so large legs. I ordered the medium on the basis of many reviews saying to size down and when it arrived it was far too tight for me. Although I could get it on, I found my shoulders and back aching after a short while where the compression was too tight. As such, I returned the medium for a large and found it a much better fit for me (again, I’m 80kg and around 5’10 – top heavy frame). I’d say that if you have a thick build, unless you want/need a skin tight fit then do consider sizing up if you’re near the tipping point of sizes.
The fit of the shirt once I got the right shirt was quite nice. I personally liked the fact that you have a tight chest/shoulders, but the length of the arms and torso means there’s a bit of looseness there. Although I picked this up for Jiu Jitsu where you do want the rash guard to be fairly tight, I think this little bit of give is perfectly fine and helps a lot with comfort and mobility.
I would say that the materials the shirt is made from are thicker than some rash guards, which I think is why the ‘skin tight’ fit isn’t the most comfortable and I personally preferred to go a little looser via a bigger size. Once I got a size I was happy with though, I really loved the fit and feel.
Overall, this is a superb rash guard for the price. I really love the design and once I got the sizing right the fit and feel is perfect too.
