    It took me a while to get this setup. Not due to any problem with the camera, but as it is a PTZ I wanted it on the corner where I could keep an eye on my new construction area. Once I cleared a spot and extended my coverage to use it, it was a very fast install and setup. I have a lot of different camera and each seemed to have its strengths and weaknesses. I’m pressed to find a weakness for a product at this price point. The tracking of people as theyove and local storage options came in handy. I need a few more PTZs!

    This wasn’t too hard to set up. While it runs on wifi, it does need a power outlet to hook up. It has a clear picture and decent sound. It works well for me to keep an eye on the backyard.

    THis is an alright camera to help with your security needs. I use it more to scare away people when they see it not that it actually works great. It has basic setup with your wireless wifi network and you need to install it to face the subjects you want but be aware if its too close to the public they can hit it or cover it or disable it. SO keep it higher but not too high. Hard to do I know with any camera. It is a nice white camera with movement and controls.

    Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is an easy camera to install with great picture quality. It’s also easy to view via the app and doesn’t use much data when not connected to WiFi. I’ve this and two other indoor cams all working well.

    I ordered this for my backyard since there has been a rash of break-ins in our neighborhood.

    That said this arrived on time and as described. Instructions were easy to read and installation took a few minutes.

    I especially like that it’s wifi and it’s the main reason I ordered it. The night visions makes it great for my use in the backyard.

    I also like that the spotlight is activated with motion. Overall this exceeded my expectations and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it!

    Got it for the wife, monitoring the twins, in home school room and activities. In expensive and works great, great value. I just run ethernet along the bottom of the room, near the bottom of the walls, and use ethernet connection. Plug in, use app, good to go. Can also connect Wi-Fi but need power connection (not totally “wireless” with battery pack). Clear, full features, pan, tilt, audio video, multi user sharing, nice. Works great for monitoring room and activities on the other side of the house. Price is right.

    However I wouldn’t trust this toy’s security skill to monitor a paper cup. Everything was easy to start up yet somethings were not so easy to end. I still can’t figure out how to get that little white light to go off. It runs all the time and I don’t need my neighbors seeing anything that looks this obvious to be camera. I managed to obscure it but then the unnecessary sound effects start happening at maximum volume. That’s a sure way to turn a security camera into a piata. Once these pointless issues are resolved, the picture quality is really good but that’s not really because this camera is well made, we just happen to live in a world of HD so we are impressed easily. The app is the only way to communicate with this camera. I wished there was something for the PC or an NVR. It would have made is more useful to me since I don’t need more of the same on my network. Other than the lens gasket being pushed out of alignment and protruding half way out I think the only reason I won’t add this toy to my network (because it won’t let me) was I can not get the lights to shut off! I tried all normal ways but that didn’t work and when I did get the lights to turn off, they would activate later. I’ve had this for two months so it shouldn’t be this hard to figure it out unless of course it’s malfunctioning.

    I have this camera located on the back porch of my house and I run it simotaneously with the one on my front porch. It has grerat motion detection, the night vision is really good, as well as the 2 way audio. It was easy to install, easy to set up, and easy to use.

    For the price, I feel like this is a good security product. It isn’t as advanced as the much more expensive units, but I can check on things remotely and give a little more peace of mind. Also, just the sight of a security camera discourages potential trouble.

    I have a few of these cameras that work with different apps, and honestly, they all work pretty well. This one has a nice clear picture and detects motion well. I use a memory card in mine because the apps tend to charge too much for storage. My only complaint would be I’m currently using three different apps for different cameras, totally my fault, but it would be nice if they all used the same app!

    This camera is advertised as being wireless because it can connect to your WiFi. It also has an ethernet connector if you prefer to wire it directly to your router. Ethernet is faster than WiFi, but it it’s just more work to install it. My WiFi connection powers a lot of smart devices I have in my home, and I have to rely upon T-Mobile service because I live out in the sticks. 🙂 This camera DOES require a power cable. If you don’t have an outside outlet, you’ll need to drill a hole through your wall to connect it to an indoor outlet.

    My video is of the first camera I installed, and the photos are of the second camera I installed at a different location at my house. In the video of my first installation I connected the power cord to an existing outside outlet, but I had to buy an outside waterproof outlet cover to protect the camera’s power adapter.

    For the second camera I didn’t have an outside outlet, so I removed the lamp and replaced it with an outside receptacle that has a built-in USB port. I wasn’t able to recess the receptacle to be flush with the wall which resulted in a small gap. So I installed the cover over the receptacle and filled in the gap with expanding foam. I then trimmed the foam and caulked over it to make it look a little better.

    The video camera has a built-in light which is sufficient to replace the wall light that I removed. I purchased the outside receptacle with USB from Amazon, and you can find it by doing a search for B00J3PMWXG.

    If you want to record video, you have to buy an optional micro SD card or subscribe to the company’s service. I just ordered a ten pack of 32 GB cards for just $59.98 to use inside all of my indoor and outdoor cameras. The product has a good customer satisfaction score and can be found searching Amazon for B09K41FX7K.

    Photos are saved to JPEG format and videos are saved to MP4. They are much smaller files and poorer resolution than what you get with your smart phone. Still the video and photo quality is good enough for use in a security camera. On the plus side, these small files uploaded in seconds to the cloud. I had to upload the files from the camera to the cloud and then download them into Windows 10 to make the video for this review.

    Windows at first would not play the video because I needed to install a required CODEC. I bought the CODEC for a whopping $1.05, and now I can play the camera’s videos in Windows 10. I’m sure not everyone will have the need to do that, but I needed to in order to make the video for my review. Please check out my video so I can get my $1.05 worth for purchasing the CODEC. 🙂

    This camera was extremely easy to set up. I unboxed it late one night and configured it while sitting up in my bed. The next day I mounted it outside. I had to buy a cover to go over my outside wall receptacle to accommodate the power adapter. The cost for that was about $12.

    I think by default the app sets up notifications for whenever the camera detects motion or sound. This drove me nuts at first until I learned how to stop it. I was getting notifications if a bug flew by the lens or if a cricket chirped. Again, I m a novice. I might be able to use the app to set sensitivity levels, but for now I’ve just killed the notifications to save my sanity. LOL

    Pros:

    * Quality hardware and great app
    * Easy setup
    * Great instructions
    * The app to control the camera is easy to use.
    * I LOVE the light and the siren. Cool! 🙂

    Cons:

    The power cord has a USB connector instead of a smaller USB-C connector. A USB-C connector would require drilling a much smaller hole through the wall of your house than a USB if you aren’t able to connect to an outside outlet.

    Conclusion: This is a great little camera with a lot of technology for such a low price.

    It's wireless meaning it connects to WiFi., but It requires a cable to connect to power.

    This is a pretty cool camera. The only issue is that you have to power it via a USB-A port. Wherever you mount the camera, you’ll need to have a means to power it. The other issue is that you have to have a place to store any recordings (SD card or a cloud provider) – there is nothing provided. None of these are huge issues, but I found that the USB power forced me to keep it in my garage. I was already planning on mounting one, I just didn’t realize that it would be so soon. The app and image quality is pretty good. Always a plus.

    Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI needed a security camera for my home and was able to snag this one. Out of box it seemed of great quality. Mounting on my home was a breeze and it has a plug in connection to an outlet under my eve. Set up up was a pain. At first it didn’t like my wifi but after a number of hair pulling sessions I was able to connect this to my wifi via their app. Don’t know how stable it will be……that is to be seen. It seems to work great with motion sensing (it loves my neighbors palm trees when it is breezy). Video capture seems a bit jerky and has to catch up with the motion. Haven’t tried the cloud storage yet but I think that is a pay for service. Seem good for what I need it for.

    This CCTV 4MP Wireless Outdoor Waterproof Security Camera that rotates with motion detection and night vision and WiFi and cloud storage and TF card storage. The camera is not that expensive but it works well for me and it’s easy to use and install and download the App and the pan and tilt is pretty easy to control. I also can have multiple users to view my camera which is great for me.
