My 7 year old daughter really wanted this for her birthday, and we had allowed her to pre-play the demo available on the e-shop.
She really liked the game for a few hours, but seems to have waned from it. I think she has managed to collect all of the dogs available, but now is left with the need to train them, which is throwing balls and other objects. I think the mystery of unwrapping the dogs and presents has gone

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was skeptical after having played the first Little Friends game which was so basic and bare boned but I’m so pleased I bought this!! So much to do, mini games and little building jobs and new areas to walk around and explore, and so many puppies with different stats to max out! Definitely worth buying, such a fun game I’ve been playing since I got it!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersIt has the Nintendogs feel from back in the days of DS, but what makes it different is that it has some extra features like minigames for you to do certain tasks when walking, and almost like a storyline to help build up the island. You also walk the dogs and find lost ones which you interact with and bring back with you. You can get different variations of 9 breeds. So far my daughter has collected eight breeds altogether, but tons of puppies which she loves. She was ablento play it on her own as she is not keen on games which involve lots of reading, though it does need a little bit of reading capabilities. So for children of a younger age, it might be difficult to know what to do next. But the walking, playing games with the dogs, washing, feeding and dressing them up is fun in itself.
