Would have been 5 start if it wasn’t for the way they say up the co op. Was looking forward to playing with my friend stay to finish but the easy they have it set up use them joiner doesn’t get the same items.
Other than that if your looking for a good souls like game your can certainly call it that.
Could almost be dark souls 4 which is high praise.
Only other slight criticism is that it can be confusing to know we’re to go have to Google quite a bit.
Over all though highly recommend.
I think this is a very good and enjoyable game if you’re familiar with the souls games. Definitely not easy, especially the first couple of hours, first boss was definitely tough . There’s a lot of way to improve your character and make your life easier. Thankfully the dodge mechanism is effecive, so you don’t need rely on parrying only. The atmosphere is spot on, graphics is very nice too.
Very good game, definitely recommend if you like the genre.
The game is good and the graphic at most times is quite beautiful. It a good mix feeling of dark souls and blood borne.
My issues are:
Frame rate drops
Occasional cheesy boss
Volume of enemies in tight spaces and near places you can fall (this is the worse)
Although this game has had a hard launch due to issues mainly on other platforms, the PS5 version ran great for me from the start.
The story is simple but brings weight with its mission and you truly feel like you are on a quest to save everything in this incredible setting.
Combat is obviously very similar to other souls likes with plenty of qol improvements and new innovative systems that change things up.
The developers have be extremely fast at improving performance and gameplay too which shows that they are passionate about the franchise.
If you like souls games please give this a sho
I’m not going to tell you all the features. Look it up. I had this game a day early and man what a blast and what fun. There is room for another performance update. Slight glitching on the odd occasion and perhaps some overall polish is needed. Normally I would give a 4, but I think this deserves a 5. It is lots and lots of fun. That is the mark all games miss. Fun. Game is a challenge but that’s great. Games are too easy nowadays. It’s 95 percent there for the ps5, which is better than 99 percent of games released today. You can actually play it start to finish with very few issues. I don’t understand the idiot reviews online from gaming companies. They take it all too serious and don’t know what they are talking about. So if you want fun fun fun gaming. Usually that’s why people do it. Then buy this. Best game I’ve played in a long time. 9/10
