Mabove Water Shoes Womens Ladies Quick Dry Barefoot Sports Aqua Shoes for Swimming Pool Beach Boating Snorkeling Diving Lake Yoga
Gone are the days of running from sun lounger to pool / sea feeling like you’re dancing over hot coals.
Great purchase and glad spent that slightly extra amount of money on these particular shoes. The shoes are thick enough to keep the heat of the ground away but thin enough to feel where you are treading.
I kept them on in the pool and then later the sea (rinsing between obviously) and made transversing the wet sand and rocks tolerable. Due to the holes the water seals away after.
These will not keep your feet dry! They are designed to act as a second thicker skin layer to protect from walking on hot sand and grip onto a surf board.
I’ve had these for a year now and they’ve served me really well – save your feet on pebbly beaches and work well for wild swimming (I hate the feel of the ground I can’t see!) Really comfy – I got my normal shoe size.
These shoes arrived promptly and I was very pleased with the quality and appearance, totally as described. Comfortable to wear walking on the beach or in the sea. Size correct. Would recommend.
So I’ve yet to actually try these out at the beach because that won’t happen until the end of the month when we go on holiday, but these shoes are definitely comfortable and it even feels like you’re wearing socks in regular trainers so I’m hopeful they will be as comfy then, as they are now. The only thing I would point out to other potential buyers is that they should consider getting a size smaller than they usually buy. I’m a 10 so if there’s no sizes I usually buy an 11, which is what I did here, however if you look at the photo you’ll see how much extra room I have between my toes and the front of the shoe. To be fair, it’s not a problem as they are snug all over so I doubt it’ll be a problem at all, but if I’d known ahead of time, I’d have just gotten the size 10.
Either way, I’m happy enough and looking forward to taking these to Portugal.
I first purchased this type of shoe 4 years ago and my original pair are still in use.
They are great on the beach and as indoor shoes. Much safer than slippers as the soles grip and the shoes stay on (l am in my 70s).
Most importantly they are extremely comfortable and are very easy to pack for holidays.
These are a life saver in the sea or beach, dry very quickly they kept the sand out. Very comfy to walk in I have even started wearing them around the house. Colour is spot on and quite in trend compared to some, these are brilliant for the money would defo recommend you wont regre
I love this product but they didn’t have a size 6. It’s really weird how they only have 5.5 and 6.5 sizes. Like actually the most unlucky thing for me but that’s okay. 6.5 fits well and I’ve actually felt my feet strengthen a little. I wouldn’t wear this all the time but these are great for my skipping exercise and or running. I’d definitely recommend this as long as you pick the right size. I’d say these are true to size but my size 6 were unavailable. Which is weird.
These are brilliant, they feel sturdy and comfortable. I have had other brands but these feel and look much better. They are easy to put on and wash when needed. Great value for money.
I liked the look at these water shoes as really nice, looking. I am officially a size 3 1/2 so was really excited that they were advertised as UK size 3 1/2 the label inside is 36= UK3. The ankle felt too tight, so decided to return them.
I agree with other comments that they seemed a bit flimsy, but as I just want to use them to wear in slippery public, showers thought they were a good idea and hopefully nonslip.
I first ordered the size 4 and later thought I’d better try a 3 1/2 as well so ordered them. I was disappointed that they were too tight so decided to keep the size 4.
I haven’t tried them when wet, so hopefully I have made the right decision!
Use these when swimming with my dog and kayaking. They appear to have a good sole, but the upper material is much thinner than expected. I do not expect it to last, but I would be happy to be proved wrong.
The inner sole remained in place for the first wearing but came out with my foot on the second. I will try gluing in place, at the price I had hoped for bette
I have ordered size 5 (38) based on some of the reviews.I am size 5.5. Sometimes I can get away with 5 or 6 but his time 5 was a little too snug.
As they don’t do 6,I decided to order the 5.5 and to my surprise,I received 6 (39). And it fits great.I haven’t used the shoes out yet,as I just received it but glad I ordered the next size up.Fast delivery and quick refund for the size 5 as well.
I’ve had water shoes before and none have been very comfortable (ie: left blisters), and they didn’t have much traction. These shoes are the best purchase I’ve made in a while. I feel the price was fair, the shipping was fast, and they are COMFORTABLE!!! I wear them a lot, even when I’m not at the beach. They are just that comfortable. And they look good – not bulky at all. They literally fit like a glove. I will be purchasing more of these.
The shoes appear well made and are light in weight. I would normally wear a size 5.5 UK and have a very slim foot. I ordered a size 5 and the fit is perfect. They feel secure, therefore I will be confident to wear them on the beach and on rocky shores.
I bought these to wear when I go kayaking. Firstly, they look great exactly like the photographs. They’re very flimsy but it’s kind of what you would expect with a water shoe. I like the fact there are pull cord laces to tighten the shoe. The only downsize is I would say is that although their sizing is pretty accurate you’d benefit more from downsizing. I am usually a size 6 or 7 UK women’s size so I ordered a 6.5 so that Id get a good all round fit. Well, they’re definitely a size 6.5 BUT I do find that they slipped off my feet a bit. I probably could have ordered a size 5, my feet would be near the end of the shoe BUT they would fit snuggly on my feet and I won’t loose any shoes. I did loose a shoe in the water – thankfully retrieved it and I just made sure I tightened them more. Overall a very good shoe and I would definitely recommend just be careful depending on what fit you desire.
Early days, had them two weeks now but due to typical English summer, it has not stopped raining and has been cold, so I have not had a chance to use them on the beach and in the sea.
The fit was perfect for the size I ordered the EU size 43 UK 9 and I usually buy my shoes EU size 44 (as few shops offer EU 43). The 43 fits very well.
They are much softer than my last pair of water shoes (trainers) but have a thicker sole than the full slip on type neoprene wetsuit style beach shoes. Something important to me as our local beach has a bit of a walk from where we park to get to the beach and the numerous neoprene/diver/wetsuit types I have tried the sole wore out after around a month of use, about 12 trips to the beach. My last pair of trainer style water shoes lasted 18 months and I used them for shopping and other occasions as they were very comfortable.
The sole on these also has drain holes. Something missing in both my trainer style and the wetsuit/diving style water shoes. I have not have a chance to test them, as already mentioned but I am hoping they will aid the shoes to dry faster so I don’t have to change shoes when I get back to the car or drive in shoes that are still wet.
Of course I would not need water shoes is the UK local authorities stopped putting pebbles on the beaches to stop erosion. It is not the most effective way to stop erosion but it does help line the pocket of the local authorities contractors and provides employment for people who have to go and level out the pebbles every six months. A pebbled beach also encourages the selfish brainless morons, who take beer bottles to the beach and smash them on the pebbles, leaving broken glass for others to tread on. Not so easy a task and well beyond the mental capacity of these idiots to figure out how to smash them on sand.
