This is a very good coiled USB-C cable for compatible gaming keyboards. Build quality is excellent, the cable is well-constructed, durable, and the connections are all solid.
Unfortunately, I cannot comment too much on performance and longevity other than to say that it worked well while my keyboard lasted – the keyboard died in a non-cable-related incident (which involved my son and the wheels of a Secret Labs gaming chair – don’t ask), so he’s back on a regular wired keyboard until such time he gets a job!

I’m very impressed with the quality of the MAMBASNAKE C03 Coiled USB C Cable. The cable is made with high-quality materials and is strong and durable, it’s fairly rigid but still provides enough flex to bend around your monitor, as needed. It’s also boasts a nice coiled design that makes it easy to store, transport and helps level up your setup looks-wise. The cable is also very fast and provides a reliable connection to my gaming keyboard, with cheaper alternatives I have found that the connection would sometimes drop, which I have not experienced once with this wire. I’m really pleased with this product and would highly recommend this cable to anyone

This is meant for use with a keyboard, with a detachable USB C cable, but it can also be used as a general data and charging cable (I checked with my phone), though would be somewhat overkill.
I wanted a means to connect a keyboard to more than one machine, one being a hotdesk; leaving the original USB cable plugged into the PC was likely to end up with the cable going missing, so this being a bespoke 4 pin connector makes it a less attractive target; once the keyboard was taken away with the co-ax style plug end.

This will work well, the cables appear to be braided, and slightly sparkly – I could do without the bling, but it looks nice, along with the gold coloured connector plugs. The USB A section is straight, and about a metre long, with the 4 pin circular connector at the other end. The USB C cable is coiled, so allows some stretching, but for all intents and purposes, if you need to move the keyboard away by uncoiling it frequently, you really need a longer cable overall, as it seems a little cosmetic.

In use, it works well, no issues, as you might expect from a high end USB cable.

I have a keyboard that came bundled with one of their coiled cables and was very impressed by the overall quality of the product, so I was eager to see the quality of this stand alone cable!
It struck me as very visually pleasing, and it certainly looks awesome upon receipt!

I really like the little cable tie! I’ve not had a rubber stretchy one before, and I think I’ll prefer it over velcro ones 🙂 It’s a nice, welcome inclusion and I appreciate it a lot! Even more so that it matches the cable.

The box was a little scuffed, but I’m not a collector so it won’t affect me.

I’m just disappointed in the aviator connector..it feels kind of cheap and doesn’t seem to screw well. Even compared to the aviator that came with they keyboard combo, it’s just not as good. It just seems like a cheap or thin metal, the end doesn’t want to screw on easily. To top it off the fittings weren’t even fit on properly – shown in one of my photos.
**I actually had to screw them on further myself, which I’ve never had to do with a cable (custom or otherwise!) myself.
Even when fully flush, the connector doesn’t 100% fit together like the photos. And then when trying to unscrew it, sometimes I end up unscrewing the entire connector fitting rather than the screw cap bit that keeps them connected, because it’s so stiff and awkward.

On the other hand, this cable is only 19.99, and a custom artisan will run you quadruple that (and a standard/pre-made artisan cable probably double at least). So it’s a cheap, effective option that looks smart – but you do get what you pay for.

It’s a shame because other than that it genuinely looks very smart 🙂 I think Mambasnake can do better with their QC., which this product passed. I was generous with my stars in this case and only knocked one off. For the most part unless you take your keyboard out for a walk chances are you won’t be playing with the aviator too often.

I also found there to be some sort of patchiness or residue on the USB ends which was too hard to photograph, not sure what that was about.

If this is standard for Mambasnake products I’ll happily discuss and potentially amend my review. But based on the pictures, I wouldn’t assume so.
