It’s so comfy and blocks out the light when I sleep with it I have such a deep sleep my bottoms turn into pantyloons and I wake up in the 14th century
I’ve I have insomnia I have had for 53 years, in order to rest I need complete blackout.
I find these amongst the numerous products I have bought to be the best.
Not only are they comfortable around my head but they also don’t lose the elasticity on the elastic that keeps it on.
The Jersey fabric makes it quite soft and my eyes don’t sweat.
I fold in tissue for my eyes are both protected and the product doesn’t get dirty, I use toilet paper (I keep a fresh roll near my bedside cabinet) as the size is quite perfect if you look at the pictures.
Highly recommended above the others
I like it but the only fault o can find is the middle thing that you use to grip your nose keeps on getting loose. Overall I am happy with the blind fold
Have had this a fair while now and my partner uses his most night and has lasted very well, also love the carry case for travelling. But the eye mask hasn’t stretched or frayed good quality
I recommend this but the strap is a bit thin so it does not spread the pressure that well and means I can feel those size adjustment bits. I’m bald so that’s likely more of an issue for me than someone with hair.
Basically a better strap would make this 5 stars as it fits my face really well, the nose band helps for a custom fit, it’s really comfortable, blacks out really well.
Super cosy material which feels lovely on the skin.
The headband is adjustable so it fits my head perfectly and I love the little nose bridge bendy thing that keeps the light out from underneath.
Honestly, this is the best sleep mask I’ve tried.
I’m a very light sleeper and I need super dark for me to be able to sleep. My bf on the other hand, enjoys a little bit of light, so we can’t have black out curtains.
But I CAN now. In front of my eyes. And it’s called a sleep mask!
I’m so silly I’ve never even thought about this before! All of those spring and summer nights, when it is getting light super early, waking me up. Now I can sleep till I want, lights doesn’t bother me anymore!
I use oils on my face before bed, so I need to wash the face mask frequently. I put in in my normal clothes, 40 degree, was, and I just simply put it in the dryer. It’s ready for me to use in a couple of hours, I don’t have to go without it even one night.
It’s fits my face and nose perfectly, although I have a slim face and small nose, so I don’t know how it fits on larger features.
It is always with me on holidays, sleepovers, overnight trips, flights… etc as well.
Does exactly as described! This mask is soft against the skin and does block out the light but only if you manipulate the nose area to your face first. It arrived quickly and definitely helping me to sleep better. My only issue (which is for all sleep masks) is that the electric strap tangles my hair during the nigh
I have found these much more sturdy than travel sleep masks and better at keeping out unwanted light. After about 4-5 weeks of use, I am finding the thin elasticated strap is starting to distort slightly but elastication is still fine.
It was a great help on a camping trip and I bought another for a friend who borrowed mine on a flight and wouldn’t stop using it.
The Mask comes with a well-made case and a hanger so that you can hang them on your backpack if you like.
I had a nice uninterrupted night of sleep so this mask does the job it’s intended for. The material is a nice soft t-shirt type so is quite comfortable. The nose adjustment is a little small for me so if I don’t get it just right it can feel a bit tight but overall it’s not a huge issue.
I particularly liked the wonderful Black Darkness that enshrouds you when you are Sleeping in this most comfortable Mask. It really is most Comfortable to wear when sleeping. Shutting out All uncomfortable Light Beams, so that you are totally enshrouded in a Wonderful BLACKNESS to Sleep most soundly throughout the entire night.
If you need to lift this Mask momentarily, it is so easy to do this without disturbing your Deep Sleep Pattern throughout the entire night. I really do feel so much more rested, wearing this most comfortable Mask throughout the entire night!
Soft, comfortable and cuts out the light beautifully. Only comment is the elastic band that goes round the back of the head is already showing signs of fatigue after only three weeks – looks like I may have to replace the elastic soon.
used this at glastonbury in a tent and I can say it was just the job. comes with a really nice little pouch with a clip so you can put it on your backpack or whatever for ease so you are not searching around for it as its really compact, another plus point . would recommend this to family or friends.
Game changer for me now as I am a very light sleeper.
Tried this afternoon when I received it, as I have been in bed recovering from illness and been awake all night and part of the day for several days. I have been a light sleeper since local council replaced street lights with LEDs. Blackout blinds and curtains don’t work, as even at new moon light seeps in, where council also cut down the trees. Plus neighbour has a cockerel, now confused and muffled but still loud crowing at 2:45am when LED street light comes on after 2 hours of energy saving. I have a white noise to cancel that out, but damage to sleeping pattern has been done. I also have Chronic Fatigue and it cycles into insomnia, it can be a nuisance getting to sleep.
My trial found this:
I tried the mask and the adjustable strap is the same they use on bra staps. Surprisingly comfy, but I noticed the metal adjuster clip (at back of head), just because my non existant sleep pattern has made everything feel like the ‘Princess and the Pea’ on steriods!
When I had bent the nose part (a small wire to fit the mask, it blocked out the light. The urge to blink ocassionally was met with soft cotton and it didn’t bother me.
In fact, according to hubby who was eating his lunch, it took me 5 minutes to fall asleep. Added bonus it keeps hair out of my eyes.
I did wake up a bit and pulled it off, but fell straight back to sleep. It seems to be a good option and I like the cotton case it comes with, with a mini cabanera clip. You could clip it on to a sleeping bag zip or inside zipped pocket of a bag for travel. I wish I had this when I stayed at a hotel that had annoying LEDs from smoke alarm (usually I stick a sticky plaster over these). Yes, will probably order a spare.
For something I had low expectations for, it gave me the ability to fall asleep very quickly, something I have not done in years. May do an update later.
One year on, and I’ve bought another two identical masks, one for home and one for stowing in my motorhome. These are the reasons why:
Once adjusted correctly, the mask shuts out 100% light. The mouldable stiffener in the nose ensures a good fit in this often poorly sealed area
The elastic is broader than most sleep masks and does not go slack with use or over time
The buckle used for adjustment has never been a cause for discomfort.
The material used is soft and comfortable
Now the negative
The instructions state “hand wash only”, yet go on to tell you not to immerse the product in water. Um . . .
The material has suffered a little from pilling on the outside face. This doesn’t make it less comfortable to wear but it doesn’t look as nice as when new.
The photo is of my year old mask. Still in perfect working condition and I can’t bear to throw it away but it’ll be retired as a spare just in case. At under six quid for a year of decent sleep, I reckon it’s a bargain.
