The whole family enjoys this game. It’s different to all of our other family board games. You each take turns to roll the dice and carefully balance a piece on the metal pole and hook. Packs down small inside its tube. Really good quality pieces that will last a very long time. Would make a lovely gift for children or a family.

My daughter got this as a present for Christmas, we’ve loved playing it, it’s the junior version of the game but still a great game for the whole family, all the adults have enjoyed it too, I would definitely recommend it.

This is a surprisingly fun game. Despite my kids being more into tablets and laptops, they played this happily for ages, and have returned to it several times in a few days. Easy to play, easy to set up and put away, and doesn’t take up a lot of room. Great value.

Bought this as a stocking filler at Christmas. My Grandson loves it, so easy to play as you just turn the letters and body parts over. No need for pencil & paper.
We’ve had lots of fun playing this game.

I got this game to play at family event and it did not disappoint. It is very easy to set up and the rules are simple so easy for kids to play but is also a fun game for competitive adults. I would really recommend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this game a couple of times already for gifting.
The recipients said this is one of their favourite games on a weekend with the family. Screen free fun!

Bought this to take on holiday. The adults played with it more!
It came suitably packaged. Item was not damaged. I see people wrote that some of the paint came off the squares before opening. Ours arrived with everything intact. However with use some of the paint came away. I am not bothered by this as it wasn’t expensive and it was a means of entertainment which was well used throughout our stay.

Bought to play with adult friends, 6 year old niece loves it too, well, she got frustrated to start but soon for into the swing of things.
Great game and well made, can’t help but think it was about 10 too much though, but board games cost so much money these days. One that will keep coming out of the cupboard over the years!

I bought this for my ten year old neice for Christmas. She was a little unsure initially as was everyone else around the table but I was confident that it would be fun and it was. Brought laughter and whooping and admiration and needed a little skill and concentration. A great game.

My six year old son loves this, and was at the top of his list for Father Christmas. The pieces are well made, it packs away and stores easily, but the packaging is a bit flimsy, maybe a cotton bag could have been included for longevity. It was a hit at Christmas for him to play with his similar aged and older cousins, and his aunts and uncles! Makes a good gift too!

The good thing about this game is unlike board games you can play it over and over. ( Board games have questions and answers, once you’re done you know it.) Kept my grandson away from his computer games and he really thought through the balancing. Storage is minimal and no time setting up and learning rules or losing pieces. Games are expensive and this is minimal amount of things included for the money however I think the play value is worth it. Def one that all ages can be involved in.

Classic games night game that all the family can play.

Really easy to understand and play, very frustrating when you lose, lol…

Its basically a balancing game with metal rodes, you roll the dice to see which rode size you get and you have to place it somewhere that it won’t fall off…
It sounds much easier than it is, lol…
We’ve had lots of fun night playing this.. the loser has to wash up in our house!

    Its great fun!

5.0 out of 5 stars 9 yr old loves i

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSuspended is a great game. It’s simple, portable, and fun. Moreover, the configurations are infinite.
The only problem I found is that the rules are very basic and, during the game, there may be some cases that are not handled.
For instance, if pieces fall should I complete my turn before putting my piece?
Can one put a piece on the straight part (not in the U) next to another piece?
Can we put a piece on the colored part?
However, I am really really having fun with it and I recommend it to anyone.

Bought for my 6 year old to help with spelling. He really enjoys using it. The pen had already run dry when we got it but we just use another dry wipe marker. It wipes clean pretty well, even when the 3 year old has drawn all over it. It can be a bit tricky for smaller fingers to turn the back to face the right way at the end of the game.

Handy for travelling and to help with spellings.
It’s nice and sturdy as you’d expect from Melissa and Doug.

Sadly ours had a dry whiteboard pen – and we didn’t have a spare in the house – so had to use paper, but I’m sure I can pop to shop and fix that issue, just a shame for the price of it I’d expect it to be working – must be very old stock.

This game was bought as a Christmas present for my grandson, and so has only just been opened. In spite of a lack of “bling” from other presents he was immediately attracted by it, and couldn’t wait to set it up and start playing with it. This he did for some time on his own, other family members were interested in joining in with him, but unfortunately the dice – which is a coloured dice, not a numbered one, was missing from the container making it impossible to play some of the games.
I had already read reviews commenting on the flimsy packaging, and I would certainly agree with this, which does let it down somewhat..

My grandson was very disappointed to not be able to play as he wanted to , and I do hope that Melissa and Doug will read this and please send a dice on. I think with that he will be very happy , he will then be able to challenge others, rather than just play with it on his.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBought this for son’s 6th birthday. He loves it. Four grown ups with a bottle of wine last night sat for over an hour and played this competitvely. loved it. With a result that we ordered two more – for them to play.
There’s different levels of complexity of the game, depending on who is playing – but even the easiest level, it’s good fun – and I am playing on a level playing field with my children (8 and 6).
Watch for the price though – it was for sale at a rdiciulous amount yesterday – but today was ok – if it’s less than thirteen (incuding postage) then go for it – if not, wait! it’ll come back down again.
What I did find a bit strange was that I am used to Melissa and Doug toys to be wooden – but this is competely different.
    Yes, would recommend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis game has been a huge hit with our kids (aged 8, 6, and 4) and was very popular when we had it out with friends. I love that the letters are secured to the board, and the bright, fun design really appeals to the kids.

The only drawbacks are related to the marking pen: the marker doesn’t come off the wooden letters/hangman pieces, and the elastic to hold the marker in place is very fiddly for small hands (or even my own.) A clip or something similar would work better to keep the marker in place, and the entire game should have been made with the same erasable surface.

Minor quirks, though – just keep an eye on the marker and tell your kids not to draw on the upper half of the game.

This is a clever toy. I was a bit sceptical about how it could be better than paper and pen, but my 7 year old and 5 year old love it. It’s really useful to have the alphabet there so they know what they haven’t asked yet – and it’s helping my 5 year old to use letter names, not sounds.

This afternoon they played hangman loads then my 7 year old started making anagrams using the alphabet and asking her brother to guess them – wow! I can’t think of any other circumstance when that would have happened spontaneously!

I agree with other reviews that the elastic is a bit tight, but we are all managing ok, so it hasn’t stopped us. I am a bit nervous of the marker, which gets waved around a lot, but I just need to train them to put the lid on. I also think we will lose it soon, maybe it could be attached to the board? But I think that has more to do with us being bad with pens than a problem with the toy itself. And of course, I love that you can’t lose the pieces.
