First off, the game immerses you right into the Marvel Universe, which is a dream come true for any fan. From favourite Marvel heroes and villains to familiar locations and exciting themes, every detail is spot-on.

The gameplay itself is where the fun really begins. With Kang threatening to conquer the Marvel Universe, players must team up as their favourite superheroes to save the day. I love that you can choose from different characters and they have been flavoured well to match their powers in comics / movies.

One of the coolest features is the ability to battle and flip tiles to change the board. Rolling the dice to take on Super Villains adds an extra layer of excitement, and the Team-Up cards allow you to join forces with other superheroes like Black Panther and Wolverine.

But what really impressed me were the quality of the pieces and the clarity of the printing. Everything feels sturdy and well-made, which is a huge plus in my book. And even though I’m not typically a fan of Monopoly, this game feels like a whole new experience and is incredibly enjoyable.

Overall, I highly recommend the MARVEL-themed Monopoly Flip Edition board game to any Marvel fan looking for a fun and immersive gaming experience. It’s the perfect gift for both children and adults alike and is sure to be a hit at any family gathering!

A very fun and engaging board game that’s easy for a variety of age groups to play, the rules are simple to learn, and is a great form of entertainment. The board and all of the pieces/cards are very well made and packaged, and made of good quality materials, overall very happy!

As a bit of a traditionalist, I’m a little conflicted by this twist on Monopoly. It does feel to me as if they’ve rather shoe-horned the two concepts to appeal to a broad base. This isn’t really Monopoly, and it’s not as engaging or cross-generational as the original. That said, it’s appeal to youngsters and Marvel fans is obvious. The game doesn’t take too long and the rules are sufficiently simple that they are quick to grasp and suited to an eight-year old. Perhaps not for me and nothing like the classic game, but it’s still a bit of fun for the right demographic.

I am obsessed with Marvel films and was excited to find a Monopoly game with Marvel themes and superheroes. My friends are delighted and cannot wait to play.
I love the superpowers and dynamism of the flip board. It took a while to set it up the first time and catch the drift of what needs doing. However, it is such fun, and for someone who loves Marvel, this Monolopy is a marvel .

Monopoly Flip Edition: Marvel Board Game takes the classic Monopoly formula and injects it with a dose of superhero action.

It has unique theme and combines the familiarity of Monopoly with the excitement of the Marvel Universe, appealing to fans of both. Players choose to play as iconic Marvel heroes or cunning villains, offering different powers and strategies. Flipping board adds to the dynamic gameplay with two sides to the board, each featuring different locations and challenges. It seems to be more complex than classic Monopoly.

So – on first opening, you need to clip the frames on the cards for the board, and pop out all the tokens out of the cardboard – so initial set up takes a little longer than when you play again.
Fairly easy to set up, and instructions are fairly easy to follow. We had to refer to them a fair bit the first time – but once you get it it’s a good game for Marvel fans.
You can play as one of the 4 characters, have battles and flip the board.
Would recommend – and all goes back nicely in the box once played for easy storage.
My 8 year old found it easy enough to play.

I am looking forward to playing this game with my 10 year old nephew. I liked the original Monopoly as a child and know that the Marvel Super Heroes are very popular with my nephew so this will be a good modern twist on an old favourite game.

This Barbie Monoply is so pink and creative. I love it. It has a slightly different twist to the original as there is a ‘Be Anything Card’ where if you roll a B on the dice you get to use the card. For example if I rolled a B and 2 I would do what is on the card I chose. One of them is either get 50 from the bank or have a player pay you 10 for each property they own. It is a fun way for Barbie lovers especially at a young age to learn how to be smart with money and how to manage in the future.

Great hit with my family, my son is Fortnite obsessed so he was bound to love it but I didn’t expect his 89 year old great grandmother to enjoy it just as much!!

Really liked playing this, (not just because I won every time ) we play a lot of games, this makes monopoly a bit more fast paced and adds interest for the kids.

Got this for my boyfriend for his birthday. He loves both LOTR and monopoly, and made me watch the movies when we first started dating, we also play monopoly quite a bit (board game dates are fun and free!) so when i saw this i knew he would it – and winning it too!
You have to read the rulesquite a bit on the first round as there are new componants of the game in this edition (you get a ring of power to put on your character which makes you invisible to paying rent and to jail) but its pretty easy to pick up! I’m not great at monopoly and it was just the two of us playing so it only lasted around an hour, but i can see that it could last much longer if youre more determined reach Mount Doom!
    Also arrived in perfect condition!

This was a gift, but I got to see it. Full of original Stranger Things takes on the old board game, including the currency. The Stranger Things fan that received this was very happy.

Package arrived in good order. Found it abit boring at first but then after a while when we all understood the game properly it was good fun and the kids loved it. Good fun with 4 players or more.

I bought this as a gift for friends & was lucky enough to play it with them – it was brilliant! This version of the game is a lot more simple than the original Monoply (there’s less money to contend with) & we loved the addition of the sound effect Question Block. Perfect for a family or if you love Mario or even if you’ve never been a fan! It was great fun & would love to play again!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is great fun compared to the standard monopoly. The board is great and there are a couple of additional rules to consider. The cards are so good and…very evil for others making the game more entertaining and fast paced.

The negative: The box doesn’t have slots to hold your hard-cardboard made coins or property cards while playing. The coins can be easily lost and may get disorganised but what a actually affects gameplay, is that a few of the character pieces are very hard to distinguish as they don’t have anything easily visible to tell who is who as it’s plain metal.

It is good that the pieces are solid and the inclusion of the ring & ring rules are what makes the game different overall. Owning the ring can benefit you so much but the Eye of Sauron can change your game a lot if you either roll it on the dice or advance with the Eye of Sauron piece.

    Recommended, great fun.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersMy niece’s face when I gave her this was sheer joy. She’s loved playing monopoly for years, after having discovered cheating from a very young age Like many young people, she’s mad about Stranger Things and subjects us to Kate Bush and quizzes us about our top 3 favourite characters endlessly. I say all this in jest, but I really do love spending time playing this game with her and listening to her open up about the things she cares about it finds interesting. So for me personally, this game was not only value for money, but value for quality time, fun and discussion.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersFrom what I’ve seen I like this. I have tried the game out using 2 characters (both played by myself, leading to a few restarts, lol) You get 9 tokens – the 9 members of the fellowship (I could have done with the names of the hobbits, Boromir and Aragorn stamped into the bases, but that’s just a nit pick) Instead of chance (16) and Community Chest (16) you get 32 quest cards. Houses/Hotels are now Outposts/Forteesses respectively. Spaces are Middle Earth places, utilities are replaced by Blade and Hilt of Narsil and Morgul Blade, Sting, Bow and Staff replace the railroads. Ring Wraith (2M) and Gollum (1M) are the tax squares. A standard set up so far. The final components are the one ring; Neither metal nor real, lol; and the tracker. On the board are 1m, 2m, 4m, 8m, 16m and Mount Doom. The tracker goes on Start and the ring bearer and at the beginning of his turn, before the roll of the dice, the Ring Bearer moves the tracker onto the next square. Lose the ring by rolling a Saurons Eye (which replaces the 1 on the dice) and you pay the price you’re on and the tracker moves to the start again. Get it all the way to Mount Doom and the Ring Bearer pockets 15M and the game ends. As the Ring Bearer you don’t pay rent, go to jail (apart from getting a quest card that instructs you to) and if you keep the ring long enough you collect 4m instead of 2m for passing go. All in all it’s a fun game

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersIf you like Nintendo, and you like Monopoly, then this is the game for you.

The board is set up perfectly, although there are some squares missing. I’m not sure whether this was because they ran out of ideas for what some spaces could be, or if it was just for the spacing of it, but instead of three coloured spaces, for most, there are just two.

It has the chest cards, but the chance cards have been cleverly swapped with an electronic question mark box. Just press it and take a chance to what you might get. Rather usefully, you are given a reminder card so you know what each of the sounds mean and represent. Unfortunately when I played it, I kept getting his with paying up. I think it has it in for me!

The houses and hotels have been beautifully changed for toads houses and peaches castles. The Monopoly money has also been replaced with coins, separated into ones and fives. Admittedly, I did think there wasn’t enough of them to go around, and I do think there is a possibility that you may run out of them at some point if there were more players (possibly the only down side), but we had enough between three of us to be able to play it sufficiently. I’d probably recommend that the more coins are added into the game for future reference to help avoid this issue.

I quite enjoyed playing it, it was a fun alternative to the original game.
