Anti-Slip Silicone Rubber Pads and Arms
- The silicone rubber arms ensure a secure & non-scratch grip even on a bumpy road or with severe brakes in between and play an effective buffer function against bumps.
Ergonomic Design, One-handed Operation
- The side button allows quick one-hand open and close operation; simply press the button on the side to open the arms, slide your phone in, and then squeeze the fingerprint design on the two side clips with one hand to secure the phone, so the cell phone will be clamped easily.
Adjustable Foot & Unblocked Charging Port
- With the adjustable foot, the car phone holder vent could hold your large phone sturdy, better than other fixed feet.
- The reserved charging port provides drivers full access to charge on the road, keeping phones charged and ready to use after a commute or a long road trip.
The holder was easy to install and appears to be of good quality very secure and the phone does not move even over bumps very impressed and good value for money
The air vent-mounted phone holder I discovered not only addresses the fitting issue but also offers an ideal positioning for easy access. What sets it apart is its ability to accommodate both my personal phone and my work phone, the latter being encased in a rugged, military-grade cover. This holder’s versatility is further enhanced by its convenient access to the charging and headphone ports.
Unlike my previous holder, which had started showing signs of wear and tear, this new addition boasts a sturdy build that ensures a seamless phone insertion and removal process. Even during drives on bumpy roads, I’ve experienced no instances of the phone holder detaching or inadvertently releasing my device.
The ease of installation, as outlined in the straightforward instructions, was a pleasant surprise. It’s evident that thoughtful design and functionality were top priorities during the creation of this holder. In conclusion, I am genuinely impressed with its performance and reliability — a worthy upgrade that has undoubtedly enhanced my driving experience.
At last, an air vent holder that’s strong enough to hold my big phone in place without dropping down or falling off. The air vent is the only suitable place for a holder in my car and I have tried many. I have a Peugeot 2008 and has the usual fin type air vents. The actual holder is very easy to use and grips my phone even with a folio case that others have struggled with. Definitely recommend 5 stars.
Easy to mount and is nice and secure.
I do a lot of driving and use android auto so a charging phone holder was a bit of a waste for me as I need to plug the phone in.
This was spot on though, the phone is secure and safe.
Recommend.
I have a Honda Jazz and it can be very hard to get a mobile phone holder to fit it. Especially as it has no flat surfaces for suction to fit. But this fits secure;y to the air vent, at just the right height. It can easily adapt between my personal phone and my work phone (which is in a military-grade case). The charging/headphone port is easily accessible.
My old one had seen better days, and it was getting very hard to put a phone in and then get the phone out. Also on rough roads, it would sometimes fall off, and at other times it “dropped” the phone.
No such issues with this one – it works well. I found the instructions easy to follow and, it does work really well.
I am not the largest fan of air vent phone holders, but there are two definite benefits.
The two benefits I perceive are firstly the one of obstructed view. sometimes when mounted from the windscreen, the view can be partially obstructed, and you will often need to remove windscreen mounted phone holders in order to pass an MOT.
Secondly, if you use hire cars, these are more portable to carry around so that you can do what most of us do these days and that is to use the phone as a Satnav with Google Maps.
This fitted our Citroen C3 securely, however, it did push one of the vent blades out of alignment, no major issue, but a little annoying. The bracket is well made and fits securely, although on a particularly bumpy road I would expect to see it bouncing around a little as the vents are not one of the most well made and rigid parts of the car.
I don’t usually like these mobile phone holders but the support workers use them and they’ve all remarked how strong this one holds their phones securely whilst using as a navigation system.
My mother in law had seen the phone holder in our car, and asked for one for herself. She’s incredibly pleased with it, as it enables her to use her phone as a satnav without having someone else holding it for her.
It’s been a struggle to find any kind of phone holder that can be secured to the vents on my cars dashboard.
When Vauxhall designed the Astra J model, they decided to make all the vents vertical, which is almost impossible to find any phone holder which can be attached to these vents.
The only option (before I came across this phone holder) was to use a suction pad option for the window or the top of the dash.
This wasn’t ideal, as it caused a blind spot attached to the window, and it had a bulky plastic arm holding the phone.
This phone holder is much more neat and compact.
It’s not blocking my view of the road, and once clamped to the vent, the holder has a ball joint so I can easily turn my phone to portrait or landscape without removing the clamp off the vent.
This is not just for vertical vents, it’s also usable in cars with horizontal vents.
The air vents are made of thin plastic, all they have to do is direct some air. No forces, nothing else. I have seen cars where I could grap the fins with the fingers and pull them out without tools. And on that you want to install heavy and expensive phones?
Thats a bad idea for me. And I am not taking about an accident producing some more g’s than just the weight, or when airbags go off and like to make a projectile out of a bad mounted phone.
That removes automatically one star.
The holder is made well, also that clamp, which is well engineered. It clamps so well, that if you tighten the screw too much, not the clamp will fail, first breakes the fin, likely.
Get me right, the product is well made, but the mounting idea is horrible.
There are so many holders out there now, and one cheaper than the other, I can only recommend, stay on the safer side.
The manual shows the essentials, but no CE or UK CA mark, also not on the product. CE is about safety for the user, which may include accidents in cars. What a mine field …
