This is a great extension lead if you’re looking for individual control over each socket. It doesn’t seem to make any mention of surge protection, however, so do watch out for this if it’s something you’re looking for. Would recommend!
This is a very good extension cord, ideal for usage in kitchens or desks because it has the option to turn things on or off, which means you can turn off the air fryer that you only use once a week, or you can turn off that spare screen that you only seem to use when you’re on specific meetings.
The cord is very long, and gives you massive flexibility. Unfortunately the plug socket itself is very thick, and very wide, and I don’t really understand why. This makes it less usable, because you can’t fit it everywhere, and if the plug sockets were rotatable, that would provide a level of flexibility that would make it easier, but with plug sockets that are this wide, and plugs that will be pointing in either direction, you have a little choice in where it will fit because it’s so bulky.
If that’s not an issue for you, this works perfectly, and has no issues with build quality or function.
I’m happy with it. The power strip feels sturdy, the cable is thick and flexible which made it easy to set up in my bedroom, the length is brilliant, and best of all it doesn’t make a buzzing noise (I mention that because I have one that does)
Nice length of cable..
5 Gang just right!
Easy to mount..i added 2 removable velcro stickies..to base..chose not to fix to wall
Love the individual switches
Yes! Highly recommend
The 3m extension lead is good quality and solid. Each socket has its own on/off button. The extension lead can also be fixed to the wall. It has serge protection so if you have all sockets on at once and it is pulling too much power the surge protection will cut off the power to all the plugs on the extension to save blowing a fuse in your main circuit box.
Works as it should.

I needed something where I can turn off individual sockets as I WFH so at night certain things aren’t on.
This came with a decent size cable – although for me that wasn’t going to be an issue. 5 plug sockets and each switch does individually turn on and off – working as intended so no problems.
This has a decent quality thick cable on it and looks smart with its individual switches.
My son has it for his tv, soundbar, sky puck etc. and everything is neat and tidy, can’t fault it.
Pretty solid and individual switch to ensure no vampire devices.
Overload protection in place to keep your devices safe.
Spacing could be slightly generous, as still struggle with some of my smart switches.
Could have include the indicator on the switch, as the plug could have blocked the small pin hole indicator light.
Would be nice if a couple of USB A or C port to be included.
Good price at 15 with voucher for the 3m.
My plugs were going to be covered by a new fitted wardrobe. This extension allowed me to extend the socket to a place where it was not hidden. Additionally each socket has its own on/off switch. Warning do not exceed the maximum for the single socket of 13amps over of the extension sockets as that could cause a fire. I am going to use it to charge my tablet & phones and occasionally a fan.
This is a pretty good extension cable.
It feels well made.
Individual switches on each socket is a nice addition especially in these current times with crazy electricity prices.
It can be wall mounted which is nice.
The cable isn’t very long at 1m but that is fine for my needs.
The only downside is it’s pretty thick. I’ve had others that are thinner.
Overall though a great extension.
3 meter lead and 5 individual switched sockets make this a reasonable buy as most in this price range with switches tend to be 4 point not 5.
Should be really helpful at Christmas with all the lighted decorations
This five way extension socket came with a lengthy 3m lead, so can be placed well away from a wall socket if required. Each socket has its own switch and indicator LED and the whole thing has a protection circuit to ensure that excess watts trips the extension rather than the house electrics (though I suspect that in reality both would trip if there was an issue). The sockets are also well spaced so there should be no issues using larger plugs blocking adjacent sockets.
The switches are heavy, they require a good press to set to on or off, a good thing as this means that they are unlikely to be accidentally turned off. It’s amazing what those little robot vacuum cleaners can get up to when they run under a piece of furniture!
The price is reduced to 15 using a current Amazon voucher, good value.
Seems well-being built and pretty solid. Quite a modern look. I like that there are individuals dual switches for each socket. A USB port or two would be a really useful addition. 1m long, which was just what I needed in the space, so I didn’t have loads of cable hanging around looking untidy.
Most of us will use this for IT or audio-visual applications, and if so, the electrical load across the five sockets will not cause any problems. It averages out at around 2.5 amps per socket (5 x 600watts).
Obviously do not try to run five electric kettles at the same time or you will blow the internal load protection trip (the little black button on the side). This is far better than blowing the fuse in the plug!
Well made and chunky, I like it!
This extension has 5 plug sockets and individual switches. I prefer this sort of design with individual switches as I can turn off devices I’m not using.
This extension is well made but it’s bulkier and heavier than others I own. The cable is only 1m long so that’s one thing to consider especially, if you need something longer.
Can be wall mounted which is what I’ve done with mine. Easy to access and use. I’ve plugged in various devices and everything works perfectly. The little lights on top of each socket comes in handy so I know it’s on and working.
