Multi Collagen Protein Powder (400g) – Types I, II, III, V
Multi Collagen Protein Powder (400g) – Types I, II, III, V & X – Hydrolyzed Grass Fed Bovine, Wild Caught Fish, & Free-Range Chicken & Eggshell Collagen. Non-GMO, Halal.
Love this product, it blends well in hot and cold with no clumps, its unflavoured so can be added to anything and i actually think it makes my coffee creamer.
Great product, I have a scoop in my tea 4 times a day and I can’t taste anything different. My skin is super soft now and the tendinitis on my Achille’s heel is less painful (although I don’t know if that’s just a coincidence or the collagen working)
Fantastic product and repeat purchaser. Below are all the different types of collagen, the only one missing from this product is type 4, but frankly i’m not bothered by that as i’m really not a fan of organs and i’m guessing this will impart a terrible taste to the product which is why it’s omitted. Flavourless in coffee, but in my protein shake there is a distinctive taste although not particularly unpleasant.
Type I Collagen: The most abundant type, found in skin, bones, tendons, and ligaments. Benefits include promoting skin elasticity, reducing wrinkles, strengthening bones, and supporting joint health.
Type II Collagen: Predominantly found in cartilage. Benefits include maintaining joint health, reducing joint pain, and supporting mobility and flexibility.
Type III Collagen: Often found alongside Type I collagen in skin, blood vessels, and internal organs. It provides structural support and contributes to skin’s firmness and elasticity.
Type IV Collagen: Essential for forming basement membranes, supporting cell structures, and filtration processes in organs like the kidneys.
Type V Collagen: Found in hair, cell surfaces, and placenta, contributing to tissue formation and stability.
Type X Collagen: Found in the growth plates of bones, it plays a role in bone development and mineralization.
I hope someone finds this review at least somewhat helpful! I paid full price for the product and time of writing this is 31 July 2023.
From the research I’ve done, this is one of the best one to get. Unfortunately it is too expensive for me. I didn’t realise that there were only 8 doses in the packet.
I’d recommend it if you can afford it. It mixes easily and there is no taste/after-taste.
This collagen powder contains the 5 main types of collagen (so far there are 28 known types) in peptide form (hydrolysed). I didn’t like the taste and so I either put it in fruit juice or I combined it with the strawberry and raspberry collagen powder from Applied Nutrition. The powder mixed very easily in cold water using a protein shaker.
Rightly or wrongly I credit the powder with the improvements I’ve made with a knee tendon problem.
I had been struggling to find any improvement in my knee for a while and so I decided to give collagen peptides a try. I decided upon this product because it had all the main types of peptide and was at a reasonable price.
One hour prior to my knee strengthening session I took a vitamin C tablet with the collagen protein drink. Over the following 8 weeks I made very good progress in terms of pain reduction and strengthening of the knee.
Of course I can’t say with certainty that it was using the powder(s) that accounts for the improvement in my knee – it could be coincidence – but I had made little progress prior to adding the vitamin c plus collagen protein drink. As tendon injuries can be really hard to recover from at my age (61) I’m simply happy to be in less pain and have a working knee again.
I’ve been taking this for six months and have seen a huge improvement in the elasticity and appearance of my skin. I have it in porridge or a smoothie and cannot detect much of a taste or smell, certainly not enough to put me off.
Arrived promptly. I put in some fresh orange which tasted fine. To early to say at present time if I will feel any benefits but will certainly update review accordingly
I have been using collagen and bone broth supplements for a few years now. This is a good product at a reasonable price. The only issue is that you have to be careful when mixing; I use it in a cup of coffee so fill the cup halfway with hot beverage then stir in the measure or use a milk frother. This is the only reason it has 4 stars. Not a big deal at the price. Very happy with the product and will buy again.
Im now on my second tub ( larger) as i found this eased my joint aches ( lady of a certain age) doesnt taste of anything and mixes smoothly into my morning coffee , will definitely continue too use , only criticism i have is maybe do refills in recyclable packaging, seems a lot of waste to but tubs everytime!
I have a joint issue caused by not enough collagen being produced. Usually after a few hours at work, I’m in agony. But after using this, I’ve been able to complete 8 hours shifts with minimal pain. Don’t know if I can say it worked or its a placebo because I think it works but it helped me lot. I’ve also had other benefits!
I purchased the product a few weeks ago and have taken 16 capfuls of the supplement so far. Typically I sprinkle the product over cooked food or cereal.
I haven’t noticed a distinct odor or taste.
Does it impart any enhancements i.e. a more youthful, glowing complexion and appearance? That may be a little too early to say, but I do feel confident (based on other positive reviews) that it will do just that!
I’m happy with the product so far…
I found this by chance. It has the same inexpedience as a more expensive one I’ve been using. It mixes the same. I have only put it in cold drinks, to add a bit of flavor I add sugar free juice. It mixes well. Only half way through this tub, but I have been using this type of powder for a few months now after I broke my leg. It has helped my joints, hardly any pain now, my hair & skin has also improved. Definitely worth a try.
What you are seeing is not the product itself obviously but absence of it from my morning coffee deliciously prepared with some weak coffee ( yeah that’s how I like it ) 20 good grams of the reviewed product and a nice heaped TSP of MCT powder which on its own tastes rather bland but I digress somewhat – after all this is about the collagen which I can tell you blends rather nicely with the aforementioned ingredients and a little bit of soya which normally takes kind of rank with coffee but on this occasion complimented the drink adding a little touch of creaminess – all in all a great quality product that ticks all the boxes – I highly recommend it!

I don’t know whether it improves my health but all sources claim that collagen is good for you. So, I take it.
Easy to mix and tasteless.
What makes it different from others collagen powders that I tried is the numbers of types in it. Usually, it is type I and III. Here you get 3 more.
