The short story: these batteries work in the Nikon Z8 just like stock Nikons. Two batteries with a nice charger/ storage case for less than one Nikon oem battery. No codes, no problems, no drama. I’ve had great luck with Neewer stuff in the past, and these seem to be as good as all the other items I’ve used from them. Highly recommended!
I have usually had excellent results with NEEWER products, and this dual bay charger/batteries is another success story. I appreciate the slim case design, where you can carry the extra batteries in the charger without the batteries falling out in your pack. The charger has indicator LEDs , and brought the two batteries to full capacity quickly, although I did not time the process exactly. I am using these in a NEEWER vertical battery grip on my Nikon Z7 II. This is my first foray into the use of battery grips, but these batteries do seem to function as well as OEM. I haven’t used these long enough to assess the longevity of the cells, but so far no issues.
Great product for my Nikon DSLR. I used these on an Alaskan Cruise this summer and had no issues at all. We were on a small boat excursion cruising the Tracy Arm Fjord to see the Sawyer Glacier. Battery capacity/capability is key when taking burst shots of the glacier hoping to catch the perfect shot of a calving glacier. These batteries were more than up to the task and I got some terrific shots of a calving glacier. Would not have been possible had I run out of battery juice.
I did not try out the ability to charge my cell phone from the case but it’s an certainly an innovative idea. The case slipped right into my camera bag with no issues.
l;dr – Great batteries and helpful charger that could use a stronger lid.
Pros:
– The batteries have been great and haven’t thrown any errors in my D850 or Z6, they feel on par with the OEM batteries
– The charger is very helpful to be able to charge two batteries without having to swap or use two chargers like with the OEM charger
Cons:
– The lid of the charger is a bit on the cheap side and I’m worried it will break in time. It’s not the end of the world if it does and I don’t think it will impact the ability of the charger to work, but it’s worth noting it felt cheap
– LEDs are helpful, but not the most intuitive. I ended up putting a label on the charger lid to remind myself what the LED lights mean.
The batteries for my Nikon D7100 are many years old and have really started to show their age. This fresh set from Neewer really is a great upgrade. They fit perfect and provide all the power you’d expect from a new set of batteries. The storage/charging case makes charging so much easier than the original Nikon charger. Put two batteries in, plug it in – done. And the option for charging a cell phone from it just makes it that much handier. The price is right and the case really makes this a great value.
I picked up this NEEWER EN-EL15c USB battery charger set with 2 EN-EL15c 2400mAh batteries to have some additional batteries for my Nikon Z7ii. I fully charged the additional batteries and placed the two in my battery grip and headed out to shoot some lightning. I’ve now had the batteries in use for the last 3 nights for quite a few hours each night and they haven’t lost more than 1/4 a charge.
I love how the battery charger itself is enclosed and will charge two batteries simultaneously with two led indicators telling you when each batter is fully charged. There’s also a place to store two backup SD cards in the lid of the charger. There are 3 ports on the side of the charger, USB Micro port, USB-C port both can be used for charging the batteries with an additional USB-A port which can be used to charge a phone.
Overall, I absolutely love this charger and additional batteries. So, if you’re in need of a battery charger for your Nikon EN-EL15 batteries, I’d strongly recommend this set of batteries and charger!
I’ve used several batteries in my photography escapades, but these take the cake. Firstly, the battery life left me less anxious about losing power during important shoots. Having the option to charge two simultaneously felt like a subtle luxury, especially when on tight schedules. What genuinely won me over was the inclusion of SD card holders in the charging case — talk about understanding a photographer’s needs! It’s not often one comes across such thoughtfulness in design. While I seldom used it, the ability to charge my phone from the case came in handy during unexpected situations. Safe, efficient, and designed with the user in mind.
I really like how compact and useful this little set is. The batteries are on par with my other batteries. The only issue I have is with the sd card holder. I’d rather have a cf express card holder. On top of that, the sd card holder is very difficult to open. Without that though, this is an extremely solid set that I will definitely be keeping in my bag.
Neewer EN-EL15c batteries 2 with a charging box that charges 2 batteries at the same time. These are 2400mAh capacity batteries and are lasting as long as Nikon oem batteries. I have 2 Nikon DSLRS and they both worked flawlessly with these. Nikon D750 and Nikon D7200 to be precise.
Description states most of Nikon cameras that takes EN-EL15 Batteries will work and I can only testify on what I have tested on. These batteries can also be charged with Nikon MH25A charger but this Neewer charger is a better option in my opinion as I can charge 2 batteries simultaneously.
Charger also can hold 2 SD cards but it will not close when batteries are inside. I appreciate this may be a safety issue due to batteries over heating but it defeats the object as Description states it can be used as power bank for smart phone. Also it would be more travel friendly to house batteries inside the charging box. Also 74.99 is the retail price with currently offering 20% voucher which brings it down to 60 price tag which will be ideal for me. Apart from that I still have 5 stars as batteries are fully compatible and have extended life when used with my Nikon cameras. USB C charging cable is also included.

At first glance, this may be one of the weirder charging cases i have. This does however charge a pair of Nikon batteries without a sweat.
The case itself is bottom heavy, the lid ends up feeling flimsy and dare I say cheap. All its good for really, is the SD card slots. Which, ive never considered keeping together with my batteries. The compartment, is a pain in the butt to use which just reinforces that the value in this case is for the Batteries. With 15C my Nikon Z8 does acknowledge these and it can be a bit finnicky with aftermarket batteries. For Z6/Z7 these let me charge in body just fine.
They couldve spent a bit more $ on the charging indicator LEDS. As if they were thrown in last minute.
Considering the price this is actually a good value for 2 En15C batteries, even if they cut some corners on the case.
These are working just great in my z7, fully compatible with no messages or issues at all, battery life seems just as good as OEM too so win-win for the price as it’s like 2 batteries for the price on 1 OEM so I rate these highly.
Nice hard case/charger for Nikon camera batteries. Charges two batteries, which are included via USB. Red lights on outside of case whilst charging turn green when fully charged. When batteries are charged and in case the unit can act as a phone charger!
