These fit our quest just fine and are easy to snap into place. My kid has had no complaints about it since I snuck it onto the quest – though he used to complain about the old one being hard on the nose bridge – so his lack of complaints is a good indicator this works pretty well.
Box comes with several so we can swap out if one wears down or we want to clean one or have one for each person or something. I dunno. It’s nice to have extras!
These are so much more comfortable than my organization vr face mask cushions. They don’t sweat my face or leave lines after long game play and this set infuses several backups. Great value. Good quality.
Looking at the quality, these look pretty well made in a strong plastic for the frame, the pads are nicely cushioned and this set gives a choice of the top pad to user, from a PU leather smooth surface, a PU leather perforated surface and a soft surface, all of which attach to the frame with ease using a velcro type of system. Also included with this is a nose cover to help block the light from around the nose, I did have problems with that part though as it kept coming loose and to me it just doesn’t fit very securely at all. The 3 pads all Velcro secure to a vented plate that also acts as a spacer for anyone that wears glasses. For the price these are good enough and when I tried one on my sons older quest 2 it fitted better than on my new one so maybe the later machines changed shape very slightly.
Fits well my oculus meta quest 2! Much better quality than the one’s that are originally included with oculus. Excellent replacement and definitely worth the price. Especially if you buy second hand oculus, this set is must have.
These are good. They are a little thinner that the included one, but they are big enough that I can use it while I wear my glasses. That is the most important thing for me as the spacer that was included with the device broke. So, if you have glasses, these work well.
This set is a great addition for the meta quest 2. It provides breathable gameplay and no more steaming up on the vision. It’s made gameplay more comfortable and easier as it prevents steaming up. Overall really pleased with this as it is cost effective and makes the vr game experience more comfortable and enjoyable.
Comfortable and doesn’t get itchy when used for the 30 minutes I tested these.
Clips into the p;ace it should with little effort, didn’t need to bend or force it into place.
Stays on.
Recommended.
Better than the original by a long way.
It goes on pretty straight forward and simple, better than some others I have tried.
The venting does a good job at helping to prevent fogging in the lenses which is nice as that’s been a real problem for me.
Materials and build quality is good. I can wear this one far longer than the standard one without irritation and my face doesn’t get as hot.
You still get your HMD face ring after though.
All in all a great upgrade.
These are spare / replacement mask surrounds for an Quest 2 VR headset.
They are perfectly acceptable, if anything slightly better than the originals supplied.
If you use your Quest 2 to any real point you will soon find that having a few spares is very useful if you are working up a sweat exercising or jumping round playing Beatsabre, especially if you are sharing a headset for any bizarre reason.
Ultimately these are a consumable item because they eventually split or break up anyway!
The 3 pads all Velcro secure to a vented plate that also acts as a spacer for anyone that wears glasses.
Two are a faux leather and one is a softer man made material, it is really down to personal preference as to which is best for you and this s a reasonable enough way to find out!
I really love playing on my VR and even though I have had it a good while it still blows me away every time I use it, anything like this that helps to extend the life and serviceability has to be worth the investment!
Happy to help
Summary: Breathable interface with airholes to provide airflow around your eyes and face to keep you cool. Added option of different styles of cushion, soft foam, pu leather effect depending on preference.
Pros: Several options, air flow holes, easy to use.
Cons: No issues to report as of yet.
Conclusion: Overall this is a great budget option for anyone who wants to upgrade the experience from the standard Quest 2 interface and offers variety to find what works for you. Great Product, Great Value 5/5
This product gave me amazing first impressions of how it looked and felt compared to the foam Facial that came with my Quest 2. This felt like heaven when paired with a better head strap. before I used to get a lot of irritation around where the foam touched my face since it was building up with a lot of skin and sweat and it was hard to clean. It also pulled on my hair and even ripped some out but ever since I got this for my Quest 2 I haven’t had any of these problems while playing my face doesn’t go all read and blotchy it also isn’t ripping out my hair and getting stuck in the cushions If you are planning on buying a Quest 2 I highly recommend this as top 5 accessories for the Quest 2 due to its easy to install nature and amazing feeling! Overall this is one of my top 10 favourite products for my Quest 2 and it should be a priority to get if you are thinking of joining the Quest 2 group!
This facial interface for the Quest 2 is a huge improvement over the stock offering.
I bought my Quest second-hand and I didn’t know who had been using the stock interface before me, so I bought a very similar interface to this one straight away. At the time I gave it a glowing review – which it still deserves. That one only came with one pad, and over time I’ve found it tends to unclip itself at the nose area. This, new one comes with three pads, and has a much more secure attachment, making it significantly better than my previous favourite.
The interface just clips on where the stock one used to go. It’s slightly fiddly, in the exact same way the stock on – and all aftermarket ones – are. Once on, it stays on.
The default ‘smooth’ pad is very plush – slightly softer than the one on my older interface, and is really comfortable. I have a big nose, and some interface pads tend to squeeze around the top of it, restricting my breathing. This one is slightly thinner in that area, and meets my face further up my nose where it doesn’t press. The interface rests on my cheekbones, not my nose. It’s only a couple of millimeters different, but it’s huge improvement.
The interface comes supplied with a spare smooth pad which appears to be identical to the one installed, and also with a perforated pad. I really like this one, although I suspect it will soak up sweat easily and quickly get manky. The pads are held on with velcro and can be changed without taking the interface off the Quest.
I’m impressed. I like this interface far more than my old one, and it’s massively better than the stock one.
Easy to switch out old ones to these.
Nose piece covers more light than my previous one so really helps the immersive experience.
Breathable PU leather option is a nice touch and helps avoid getting sweaty so quickly.
At time of review this is 18.99 which is pretty expensive for what it is, would expect it to be around 12.. so if you snag it for that price or under – happy days!
