Nice smooth powdery rather than the granules you’d expect.
Easy to make juat add boiling water and you have a really delicious coffee.
I have to be honest I’m a fussy coffee drinker but I’m super impressed with how nice this coffee is.
    Highly recommend.

It has become a habit for me to drink a cup of coffee every day. Nescaf has always been the most popular instant coffee in my family, which is not only simple and fast, but also inexpensive. It comes in powder form and I usually drink coffee with a little milk or coffee mate, which has been the case for a long time. It’s the first time I’ve bought it in powder form and has a good taste. However, compared to granular coffee. I prefer granular ones because I think they smell more fragrant and taste more rich and mellow. I think I’ll be drinking six cans for a few months now and their Exp date is march 2025, so you don’t need to worry about expiration issues.

Love Nescafe coffee, this gold blend tastes smooth and creamy. Unlike some coffee which can be overly bitter and too strong. I love to drink this when not in the mood for certain types of filtered or machine coffee. It also makes great iced coffee! Hasn’t disappointed so far, would 100% recommend!

After a long user of making coffee with granules, I found this and is the only instant coffee I will now drink. I make it with just off the boil fresh water and a splash of cold milk. The powder dissolves easily so no segments in my coffee. I do not, however, agree with the strength of 7, I would say this is more a 5.

A great supply of coffee to help keep you caffeinated through the day. If you a fan of this coffee, the bulk buy price makes it cheaper, which helps when you know you’ll be drinking it all. The coffee lasts for a while too and has a good shelf life!

I am not much of a coffee drinker but my wife is. Good taste and is flavourful. She gives this 4 stars solely because she feels it is a bit pricy compared to similar coffees.

I normally go for the Nescaf gold smooth which has a 6 level intensity but I’m really enjoying this espresso edition (the only variation being it’s a strong intensity – 7). Similar to my regular coffee it is a smooth powder as opposed to granules which I find dissolves nicer and gives a better taste. This coffee has a rich and creamy taste and is enjoyable both as a hot coffee and an iced version. The size of the container means there is a huge amount of product and is long lasting compared to Azera sized products which are far less.

This pack of six large jars of Nescafe Espresso coffee arrived with a good protective packaging. (I’d been nervous of breakage.) Each jar has the standard sealed inner foil.

The aroma on breaking the seal is clean and deep; this doesn’t fade with use. The coffee mixes as easily as ever with boiling water and doesn’t leave any residue in the cup. The flavour is strong and rich without any bitterness. I use a good rounded teaspoon per espresso cup and take it black. There is a pleasing amount of crema.

I have also used the same amount in a standard coffee mug, with sugar and cream, and find it very satisfying. It might sound heretical but a spoonful in chocolate butter cream makes an excellent mocha filling for gateaux.

For an instant coffee powder, this is the ne plus ultra for me.

I think this is probably the best instant coffee I have come across. Not sure if its a mental thing as I like the brand but I know drink it in the office and prefer it compared to our proper coffee.

There are 6 jars of 190g for 59, so just about 10 per jar.

This Nescafe Gold Blend Espresso makes a smooth creamy coffee without any bitterness. The instant coffee is in a powder form rather than granules. I use a heap to ensure I get a full cup of coffee. I like it but I prefer a more bitter and full roast taste.

A typical Nescafe Gold Blend instant granulated coffee in a 500g tin would cost 15. So you could buy 4 of these big tins for the same price as 6 small jars of Espresso. So I will give this a miss.

Generally, instant coffee is made up of (mostly) Robusta beans, which isn’t a bad thing as they are perfectly good beans. Arabica beans tend to be used for crafted bean to cup coffees, but these are just generalisations, and it is very much a personal choice. This instant coffee is made up from 100% Arabica beans, which may be a first for me.
I recently tried a Nescafe decaff and was very pleased with it, but this was falling short of my expectations of an espresso. The way this has been marketed (at least as I see it) gives the impression that you simply spoon in, pour on hot water and you have an instant espresso. Going on the recommendations of 1 spoon coffee to 200ml water you should then have 5 to 6 shots of espresso in a mug (espresso cup typically around 35ml). What you are actually getting (taste wise) is an “espresso based” Americano. If you were to make a single shot espresso for the base of a Latte, Cappuccino or Americano recipe, you would use 1/5 of a spoon to 35ml of water which would make for an extremely weak crafted drink.
If I were to review this as an instant espresso (as advertised) it would not warrant it 1 star. However, reviewing this as an instant coffee is somewhat different. It is very smooth and easy to drink with no strong acidity or bitter aftertaste. I did need to go a half spoon over the recommendation as I like stronger tastes, but that is preference. As an instant coffee I really enjoyed it and it is better than a lot of instant coffees I have tried. At nearly 10 per 190g jar (current price) it is quite expensive, but it is on par with other premium instants.
I would recommend this, but maybe you should get a single jar to try before committing to a pack of 6.

4.0 out of 5 stars More an 'espresso based' coffee, than a straight espresso

    Nescafe Gold Blend Espresso 6 x 190g
    Total Serving Amount 633 Cups.

The coffee arrives in glass jars with a screw topped lid and a peel off tamperproof sealing inside.

The coffee dissolves well and doesn’t leave a gritty residue in your cup either.

A nice strong coffee with no bitter aftertaste.

I’ve been drinking Nescaf Gold instant coffee for as long as I can remember and it’s always been of good quality, with a delicious taste and a nice aroma. This blend kind of tastes like espresso and its super easy to make – just pour a teaspoon in a mug and pour around 200ml of hot (but not boiling) water.
I usually drink it black, but sometimes I’ll add a little milk or cream, it’s never too bitter, and I always enjoy it. I honestly think it’s a great coffee for the attractive price and its worth to buy the big package (it makes sense for me, as I’m a notorious coffee drinker). In my opinion, the Nescaf Gold always been great and I’ve never ever been disappointed. Summarising, if you’re looking for a good quality instant coffee, this is the one to consider, I highly recommend it!

The Nescafe Gold Blend Espresso makes a delicious cup of coffee with a genuine creamy taste. There’s a lack of bitterness which may not match the palate of all coffee drinkers, but I enjoyed it. The grounds are “very ground”, more of a powder, and it’s worth using more than you’d expect to get a satisfying cup.

While the coffee itself is excellent and recommended, the current price of nearly 10 per jar (58.74 for 6 at time of review) has to be kept in mind, hence I’ve docked a star.

ice tasting and smooth instant coffee but a lot weaker than i thought especially with being espresso blend. needed a good heaped spoon for a stronger flavour.
great for an instant and mixes well. great quality and will last a long time with a bulk pack of 6.
leaves a nice crema on top of coffee and works well equally if adding to hot milk or drinking black.
    highly recommended.

I haven’t had a nescafe gold blend in a long time, and this does kinda taste like espresso, but easier to make, I put 1 teaspoon in a mug, 200ml hot but not boiing water, it is instant coffee, I had mine black but sometimes rarely I do like putting milks of all sorts of variety, not often though as I like coffee black no sugar. It tasted pleasant and not too bitter. Nescafe have been doing coffee since I was a weeeee lad, and they have a lot of experience with it. I think it’s good and the quantity will last, there’s nothing negative I can say about this so 5by5.

    ps.
The expiry is about 2 years give or take, this is enough for 1 person to have coffee for 2 years or a family for a year give or take. Measuring the amount of coffee and water adjusts the taste of coffee, based on how you like to drink it. I personally like it at 90-95oC It smells so good.

This 6 pack of Nescaf Gold Blend Espresso offers some fantastic strong flavoured espresso instant coffee.

One jar will last me awhile, so I imagine six jars will last me many, many months! The flavour of the coffee is strong but it’s how I like it, if you like your coffee intense you’ll certainly more than likely like it!
