This is an excellent mess kit. It is compact and very light. Works extremely well when space is limited. Comes with everything you need. I’m very pleased with this set.
This Camping Cookware set is durably made with a lightweight aluminum material.
We took our kit on a 80+ mile backpacking hike and found it worked very well cooking, cleaning and serving. The integrated handles and lid loop helped to control the hot pot and lid. Was able to store MSR Whisperlite inside the pot. Great produc
I picked this up for our recent car camping set-up, and it’s a really useful & compact set. Everything slots together into the bag and takes up very little space (essential for car camping). The non-stick coating has performed really well in testing and the pans area perfect size for the two of us (you’d likely want something larger for more people). The wooden spatula is useful and a nice small size, and the ladle is very compact, with a folding handle, and would certainly be useful if you’re backpacking, though I suspect I’ll find space for a couple of regular utensils, seeing as we don’t have to carry them around.
If I were backpacking, I’d definitely consider this to be very suitable alongside a compact stove, and it could be easily hung from the outside of a pack.
The handles fold into the pans, but feel sturdy when opened out. Naturally, the insulated coating would likely be vulnerable to flames from an open fire if they lick round the body of the pan, but shouldn’t cause any problem with our gas stove or the ghillie kettle, as the flames are very contained in the base of the unit. If I were using on a larger open fire, I’d let it die back a bit before using the pan and/or support the pans to the edge of the fire, to protect the handles.
The sponge, though completely unnecessary, is a sweet touch! I didn’t think I’d need the bowls, but they’re light, and they fit comfortably in the set, and I suspect they might be the sort of item you didn’t realise you wanted until you’re “in the field”. They’re not huge, but it might be that it’s better to have 2 portions in a small bowl than be taking an array of dishes, bowls & plates in a restricted space.
I’m really impressed with the set, and we’ll be making use of it a lot from the Spring. I’m really looking forward to trying it out “in the wild”.
At just under 20 at time of review, it seems like a fair price compared with similar items I’ve viewed over the months of planning. I can recommend this cookware set.
We love camping so always on the look out for cooking equipment that can help us enjoy our holidays.
This set comes very compactly stored in its own carry net.
The set includes a cooking pot, perfect for soup/pasta/noodles etc, a frying pan (great for a cooked breakfast), a set of little bowls and some soup spoons etc.
They all seem very strong and durable, and would heat well on a basic camping stove.
On the whole it’s a great little set for camping and days out.
Hi, this is just perfect for camping.
Whether you are just starting out or adding it to your cooking collection, this set is great.
Comes with 2 cooking pans, 1 lid, bowls-soup spoon and cleaning sponge.
Easy to store away with its own little carry bag
[I received this product for free, in exchange for an honest review, as part of the Amazon Vine programme. That being said, this review is NOT swayed by that, and (as always) contains only my real thoughts on the product; good and bad.]
I am genuinely impressed with the Odoland Camping Cookware Mess Kit! This compact and lightweight set has exceeded my expectations in terms of functionality and convenience. As someone who enjoys outdoor cooking, this kit has become an essential part of my camping gear.
The variety of items included in the kit is fantastic. The 2L pot with lid, 0.7L fry pan, and three bowls offer ample space for cooking and serving meals for 2-3 people. What truly sets this kit apart are the thoughtful accessories — the ladle, in particular, is pure genius! It’s those small details that make a big difference in the outdoor cooking experience.
The non-stick Teflon coating on each piece is awesome. Cleaning up is a breeze, and the durability of the cookware is impressive. It conducts heat efficiently, ensuring that my meals are cooked to perfection every time. This kit is undoubtedly built to last, making it a reliable companion for all my outdoor adventures.
Portability is key, and this cookware set nails it. Weighing only 0.59kg, it’s incredibly lightweight and easy to carry. The folding handle design and compact size make it ideal for backpacking trips, allowing me to say goodbye to bulky cookware and enjoy the freedom of travelling light.
The heat-resistant handles are a thoughtful touch, ensuring my safety while cooking. The anti-slip design provides a firm and comfortable grip, making the entire cooking experience secure and enjoyable.
I’m already looking forward to warmer days when I can take this kit camping. The included carry bag with a drawstring closure makes storage and transportation a breeze. The Odoland Camping Cookware Mess Kit offers great value for money, and I highly recommend it to fellow outdoor enthusiasts. Cheers to cooking anywhere you go!
The Odoland Camping Cookware set is very compact and would be ideal when you need to carry the minimal gear when camping.
The cookware is designed so it doesn’t take up much room and at that it does a good job. The pot sits inside the pan and the utensils sit inside the pot, the handles fold flush against the pots and there’s a mesh drawstring bag supplied to carry it all in.
The pots are great quality and lightweight and I’m very happy with them. The utilities aren’t great, but they do the job, the odd folding spoon/ ladle isn’t something I’m using, having my own utensils but they’ll be fine for many.
If you camp with the whole family these won’t be enough, but for solo campers they’re easily good enough and decent quality
This Odoland camping cookware mess kit composes of 10 pieces, 1 x 2L pot,1 x 0.7L fry pan, 1 lid, 3 plastic bowls, 1 Soup Spoon, 1 Spatula, 1 Cleaning Sponge and 1 Carry bag.
The all aluminum construction of both the pot, lid and frying pan make them nice and light, the handles conveniently fold flat against the sides when not in use and the handle on the lid folds flat as well.
The three soup bowls are decent size, enough to hold a nice chunky soup or even a cup of tea/coffee.
Nice that you get a cleaning sponge as well though I wouldn’t use the green scouring side on the pots as this would over time remove the nonstick coating.
When done just pop everything into the pot and then the pot into the frying pan then put in the net bag.
Just make sure you don’t get the handles over a direct flame or heat as they would melt so I’d say these are more suited to the gas stoves more than a camp fire.

I was surprised how nice this set actually is. Seems well made and actually pretty sturdy. Everything fits neatly together to make a pretty small set for carrying around.
The images on the marketing are not real, it’s a mock up but they are OK for a meal for 2 if you use both the pot and the frying pan, otherwise catering for one is probably what I’d recommend.
The bowls are way too small, the soup spoon isn’t great but the wooden spoon / spatula is OK.
If you have a metal mug to go with the set (or your own), then you have everything you need for cooking less for the heat source. I’d only use this with a camping stove, and would probably only use my gas burner rather than a dual fuel stove.
I’ve given it 4 stars because I really like the set for the basics, i.e pans / lid and how they fit toether perfectly. The accessories don’t really bother me as I’d rather use one’s I have purchased specifically for that purpose. At the time of writing the set is 19.99 which is pretty good value when a pair of mess tins is around 10 and they don’t come with a lid or insulated handles. Happy to recommend.
I ordered this cookware set for our backpack camping. It contains 1 pot(2.9L) with lid, 1 fry pan(0.9L),3 x Plastic Bowls,1x Soup Spoon,1 x Bamboo Spatula,1 x Cleaning Sponge,1 x Carry bag. Very practical. The quality and workmanship look good. No flaws were found. We have used the pot in one 2-day camping trip, only boiling water for instant noodle. They are good for our propane and gas stove. So far so good. I will update if I find anything to share in our next backpack camping trip.
Acquired this little set for my outdoor adventures. They work great! Easy to transport. Easy to clean. Didn’t fall apart when used over the campfire. I will warn about flame height affecting the plastic handles, however as long as you don’t place the handles directly over the flames it will be fine. Can’t wait to see how this set does with the new camping stove but I imagine it’ll be even better!
I’m overly pleased with this mess kit. It’s very well made and lightweight. It’s only to be used over a camp stove since its handles could melt if exposed to direct heat. The only thing I wish was different is while I appreciate the plastic bowls, sponge, wooden spoon, and ladle. I would have preferred more of the same material as the pots themselves. Even at the cost of a little extra weight.
I would still most definitely would recommend this solid camp set. Thanks for your time, hope it’s been a help.
Thus is a great kit for camping! I like that its all made of aluminum because it heats up so fast. I also really like that everything fits within each other that makes it great for traveling. Overall great kit, im pretty happy with it.
