This won’t work for a family so great, just due to the sizes of it. For 2 people though, we had no issues making meals and coffee on a 4 day trip.
They’re not those cheap, thin aluminum ones that bend and warp if you look at them wrong. This makes these slightly heavier, but totally worth it.
Nice set for basic meals.
This cookware is perfect for camping. It’s compact and lightweight which makes packing that much easier. I had no trouble cleaning after use. It has all the essentials and I plan to use it for years to come.
Nobody wants to carry heavy stuff on a camping trip, and with this set of cookware you won’t have to do that. It is well-made and high-quality construction. It performs well. 5 stars.
This set is small and compact, but for just me and my husband it was a perfect size. We camp a lot and this takes up no space. Everything stacks together perfectly. Cleanup was a breeze. Very happy with this purchase!
Very well packaged, item arrived undamaged. This is a well thought out compact item. Has everything in it you’ll need. This item should work well on a camping stove. It comes with a nice bag that you carry it in. Have not actually used it yet and I am looking forward to using it.
My favorite in this Odoland 10pcs Camping Cookware et is the kettle, Water boil faster in this than my old cooking pot, and pouting the hot water out is so mush easier and accurate too. I use the kettle and the pan for my four days wilderness camping last week, they are lightweight and compact, sufficient to cook meals and hot water for two of us. I didn’t bother using the little plastic bowls and utensils that came with the set as I prefer metal ones. The handles are ever so slightly wobbly, hence the reason for not giving it five stars.
This is a pretty decent setup for hiking or camping. Everything nests together so it has a small footprint, which is good. However, it rattles a LOT when hiking with it, which may not be a problem for you, but it got on my nerves pretty quickly.
This is definitely a one-person set. It is not large enough to cook for more than one person at a time. It is nonstick (for now, anyway) and it cleans up easily enough. Because it is so thin, it also heats up quickly. Be warned though, there are definite hot spots and cold spots in these pans.
Overall they are a good set for occasional use and they are light enough they don’t take up much weight or space.
This is perfect for camping.
Comes with a variety of pans & utensils as well.
My favorite is the skillet as I love to fry turkey bacon in it.
Easy to clean while taking up minimum space.
I used these on the gas burner in my camper, and they were perfect! They were easy to clean. Everything nestled together easily for storage, and the mesh bag keeps everything together. I’m not sure I expect this to last a long time, but I’ll use them as long as I can.
I like this cookware. It’s compact, light and versatile. My only issue is that I tried to fry an egg with avocado oil and it did not turn out so well. The pan is not “non stick”.
Awesome design! Fit together just perfectly! These are so perfect for our RV Trailer. We got rid of (3) other pans/pots with this kit, and we only have 3 cabinets. So far on the first use and wash, the material has held up and not peeled away or scraped off. The worst part about storing pans/pots are the handles, and this clever design eliminates the stationary pan/pot handles that are bothersome.
This is a very nice little camp cookware set. The pieces nest and fit into a provided travel bag. The plastic bowls are pretty small, just slightly larger than ramekins. They’re not big enough for meal portions, like oatmeal or similar. The handles swing freely on the pots and keep your hand from getting hot. The lid for the pot fits it okay, but does not fit the skillet. If you place the lid on the skillet, it just slides down into it. Overall, it’s a nice set for $27, but at the time of this review there is a 15% discount so the price would only be $23. That’s a pretty good price even for just the pot with lid, skillet, and kettle.
This is not a complete or a whole camping kit or even trying to be that, rather, it is a cute tea pot, cooking pan and pot with lid, with a few oddities like a sponge, cut off or no handled bamboo spoon, 3 polypropylene small cups, and an odd polypropylene ladle. The sponge, spoon, cups, ladle are extra and honestly mostly useless. This is not attended for individual backpacking. The items are not heavy but an individual backpacker does not need the quantity (read: size) these nicely made items can handle. It is also not an individual bicyclist camper’s gear. Items would not and are not indented to sit on a solo stove.
This set is for filling in what you might already have and making enough grub for possibly three +/-. Think car camping with others or by yourself. Or, if off-beaten path, dividing up gear to share during meal time/making.
I recently brought this medium sized “Odoland 10pcs Camping Cookware Mess Kit” on a car camping weekend with friends. It was a great hit and served me well. The folding handles make storage so much easier, have good grip, feel solid when in use, and make a wonderful spoon rest. I had no issues with them getting hot.
We were kind of taking care of ourselves and generally sharing. The kettle was good for tea/coffee needs of about 2 people (3 if teeny portions.) I was initially concerned about the stubby spout, but it poured quite well as you can see in my short video.
The little fry pan was large enough to fry one piece of bacon split in half. I was able to add and fry a large duck egg in there near the end of the bacon’s cooking time. See my pic for that. It’s also just the right size for one grilled cheese/ham sandwich. Or a few sausages. I happily ate straight out of the pan on occasion. And it cleaned up well.
The little half sized wooden utensil fits well with the nesting set. I kind of loved it. It is great no scratch utensil. It worked well for flipping that fried egg and the grilled sandwich, though it requires a bit more finesse than a straight spatula. In the pic, you can see how I slightly mashed the edge of my grilled sandwich, when I flipped it. I really liked the convenience of being able to rest utensils at the handle/pan junction to keep them clean.
It is frustrating that, while those silly plastic Bowls fit in the mesh bag, they don’t nest in the kettle. Those plastic bowls handily turned into emergency Champaign glasses on this trip. And I can see how they might be useful for prepping ingredients. But I’d probably eat out of the pan before using them as bowls.
Though I’ll be keeping my cast iron skillet, this will definitely be replacing a barely used sauce pan and often used kettle in our old teeny 1 to 2 person RV. The stowing handles and nesting feature will save a heap of space.
This camping cookware set is truly all in one as everything comes in nice stackable design. This 10 piece set contains a pot, a frying pan, one kettle, bamboo spoon, cleaning sponge, thre plastic bowls and a mesh bag to carry it all. The only thing missing was a stove which would have made it perfect for your camping adventures. The handle design is quite novel as they fold flat on the container when not in use. The handles have non metallic ends which keeps your hand protected from heat. This is great set for yourself or as a gift to a camping and outdoor enthusiast.
I really like this cook set. I haven’t used every piece yet, but I think this set is a really good value. The whole set is pretty heavy for backpacking, but I don’t take it all with me when so go. The large pot is perfect for cooking instant mash potatoes. Individually each piece is really light, but again, together it is quite heavy, but really worth the purchase if you like to cook on trail.
Nice small set of cooking items. Good bag for storage. The ‘cups’ are useless for me. They hold approx 3/4 cup of liquid. I like the pots. Lid fits both pots but a tad small for the smaller pot. The kettle will be nice for boiling water for dehydrated meals. Looking forward to using them for a camping trip in 2 weeks. Will update if any issues.
Update: used a couple of items for 4 day camping trip. The kettle worked well to heat water. I used the skillet to pour my dehydrated food into & eat out of. Eating from the food bags is harder. I like the cookware & will use for future camping trips.
