These brushes fit the Oral-B io electric toothbrush only. They are excellent quality and cheaper on Amazon than other sellers. If you have sensitive teeth or gum problems they are gentle and softer than the regular io brushes. Oral B recommend these brushes are used with the tongue brushing mode on the io 9 & 10 brushes. Love my toothbrush and these brushes my oral health has never been better. Highly recommend.

These heads are perfect for my io9 toothbrush. I have very sensitive teeth and gums that bleed with the slightest of pressure. As they are being used at a faster rate that a manual toothbrush, they will be used up a bit quicker. It’s a shame that they are as expensive as they are, especially when people are trying to save pennies where they can. I would definitely recommend them for the quality and how they feel on my teeth.
27 for resurrection of my gums was worth it.
However I would mention that it’s still more than I’d like to pay.
After using ultimate clean for a while I still saw no blood but my gums hurt so much I could barely look at my toothbrush. I didnt like the sound of gentle care because I want clean white teeth, not gently cared for teeth so I stuck for the one that has clean in the name – up until pain forced me into using gentle care.
Turns out gentle care is actually pretty good. My gums were resurrected after a few days and if I do it right they feel squeaky clean.
My girlfriend however used my gentle care brush head twice and now the bristles are bent at unseemly angles. She loves to abuse her teeth so it’s understandable – apparently the big red warning light that shes pressing too hard and the suffocated sound coming from the toothbrush isn’t enough for her to realise that she should lighten up a bit.

From now on she uses my ultimate clean head.

Evidently durability in extreme situations could be improved.
I like the heads tho they spin left and right really smoothly if u move them with your finger it’s cool.
Please fix the durability though – for just under 7 a head I think I deserve at least that. Thanks :).
And with ultimate clean if you could remove the raised bits around the sides of the head and make it more similar to cross-action, I think theyd be much more gum-friendly.
Cross action was amazing I loved it it felt like a pneumatic drill at the same time as not damaging my teeth, but I prefer the quieter io motor for night-time, since I like to go to bed late when everyone’s asleep.
I urgently needed the Sensitive heads as the Ultimate Clean head that came with my IO8 is not suitable for my Teeth and could not obtain the Sensitive heads locally. The price was not too bad for Four heads since in the Supermarket Ultimate Clean heads were a similar price for Two. Its disappointing that IO Sensitive Heads are NOT available in Black as my IO8 is Black and the Ultimate Clean heads come in both Black & White
Original i o electric tooth brush head bristles are too hard, so ordered rellacement. Its not as soft as previous models oral b electric tooth brush such as smart ect …, but does the job.
I have gum disease and found that the i0 toothbrush works best for me on ‘super sensitive’ so I wanted to try the Gentle Clean head to see if it felt more gentle than the Ultra Clean Head. I would say it’s slightly more gentle but I can’t really tell much difference so if the Ultra Clean are cheaper, I will go for them as these heads are expensive.
I bought the 4 pack, so these will last me a year as you need to change the head every 3 months.
Although these are still good toothbrush heads, j would recommend sticking with the ultimate clean heads and using on the sensitive setting instead of getting these.
I had to replace my brush heads for a long time now. This pack is a great value for money as it comes with 4 heads and the price is economical. There is no doubt about the brand and the quality products it offers. I am sorted for a long time now as I get very lazy ordering one brush replacement at a time. my previous brush is still working fine, but it is recommended to change the brush head every 3 months. Honestly, I do use it for good 6 months before replacing it. But I do feel that after 4-5 months, the brush doesn’t works as it used to.
I like the fact that these come in a mailbox compatible box as whenever I need them, I know they’ll be delivered to me without issues as they’ll fit through the mailbox.
The replacements are quite pricey but so is the toothbrush and when I bought it, I knew it’d be something I would have to spend some money on. It is a good toothbrush and these replacement heads, to me, are an investment towards my teeth care and I feel it is worth every penny. My teeth feels fresher and cleaner and I have less issues that I used to which is fantastic. With the gentle care replacement heads, I find them to be a little bit softer than the standard ones which I personally prefer. All in all, a good buy and very convenient.
These arrive in a package that will fit through your letterbox which is great if you are not home.
I received 4 toothbrush heads which at the normal price would make them 13.50 each head which is quite expensive, but when you think this pack should last a year if you change your head every 3 months the price doesn’t seem as bad.
These feel really soft on my teeth and gums and do not cause any bleeding, they feel extremely good quality.
Overall I would recommend these toothbrushes and when they are on offer they work out at a really good price.
So, I initially got to review the iO7 in July when it first came out and have been impressed with the brush but certainly not impressed by the prices! It continues to be the case with the heads. They’re great and do an amazing job but for what you get, I simply feel these prices are still extremely high! These come as “mailbox fit” and they do fit through my letterbox…but I really feel you are over paying of the flare of a package that could be much simpler and still be showy! I’ve been lucky enough to review the toothbrush and these heads so I’m all set for at least the next year, but I’m not sure I’d personally pay the hefty price tag these are currently at, even if they do an amazing job at cleaning. Hopefully bu the time I need to replace, these will be at a more realistic and reasonable price!
