Top-notch gaming mouse! The Redragon M908 Impact exceeds expectations. The delivery was prompt, and this mouse is a gaming marvel. The side buttons are a game-changer for MMOs, and the RGB lighting adds a cool touch. An excellent choice for gamers seeking precision, style, and functionality.

Perfect for MMO gaming, does just what I wanted at half the price of the alternatives.

I’ve been using mine for almost a year with no problems.

The mouse is wide, which I find very comfortable in my adult lady hands, but my 6′ friend also commented that he found it unusual but comfortable when he tried it.

My Corsair stopped working properly so needed another with all the 12 buttons on the side quickly so I could play my games efficiently. Got this one and its perfect plug and play no setting up works like a dream just as a mouse should. Very happy

The mouse is really comfortable to use and great design, fits in hand nicely and buttons I find are in the right place to fit for my hand. Comes nicely in a box with little tub to keep the weights in should you wish to remove or add weight to the mouse. Not really used it for playing games but for creating games the setting of the dpi for making scenery i find awesome along with setting macros to programmable buttons. Am really happy with both the product and the service

It was decent but the dpi was not like my other mouse so when i was gaming it was annoying to find a good sens overall it is quite good

I use the extra keys for shortcuts in art and 3d design software instead of the intended purpose of gaming. For my needs this mouse save me alot over buying a dedincated hotkey board. The added simple macro function also means i can do certain actions that would of taken multiple steps in one click.

I waited a while to review this and can say this has been the best mouse i have owned.

Overall this is great mouse for anyone wanting more hotkeys at your fingertips.

    Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWhen I received the mouse I got it all setup really quickly with the RGBs and dpi ,of which there is a lot of customizable parts;

The lighting – effects, brightness and speed.
The buttons – individually mapable and can put macros to each button there is even a turbo button like the old madcat controllers.
The DPI – has 5 modes so you can set each one to a different dpi if you wish, can change scroll and pointer speed also.
The weight – There is 8 weights within the mouse so you can fine tune the feel of the mouse, personally I removed 5 of them and kept 3 in as with 0 I was finding the mouse moving slightly when I pressed the buttons on the side but again this is personal preference.

As for the mouse itself, I love the cable being braided and really long that helps massively and just feels different (good different) to the standard rubber. The mouse also skates across my mousepad smooth and quickly. It has a wide feel but very comfortable, the sides are glossy which can get slippy but just need wiping every now and then and they are fine ( I may either scratch this or put a sticker over it to add some more grip ). Overall I love this mouse, I bought this solely to play wow / other mmos so won’t be using very competitively in FPS’s so for what it is and the price 10/10 from me.

Now shortly after receiving the mouse I noticed the right click was stuck in and would only press in a certain location, I went to the support team online and sent a request in to see if there was any fix they could replace or if they could repair it. Less than 12 hours later I had a response with detailed instructions with pictures ( attached ) on how to fix it ( Gently pull up the button press plastic to reveal a small square, make sure this is aligned and not wonky then push back together ) This took 2 minutes and now the mouse is as it should be. No RMA or lengthy backward and forward just here you go fix it which I personally much prefer !

Granted the mouse should work as intended out the box but with it shipping across the world, being lobbed about by amazon, things are bound to happen in transit so I have no issue with this I’m thankful their support is incredible !

5.0 out of 5 stars Customer service 10/10

This mouse feels and works great on linux. With a terminal based 3rd party configuration tool for the macros (needs compiling) and support in openrgb for the LEDs everything works, and the mouse feels solid.

I have had a few mice in the past and even the top brands failed where right click failed to function and numbers failed on the side. Up to now everything is working with this mouse, time will tell whether any buttons stop working.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI don’t really leave reviews very often, but I believe this is note worthy, I’ve only had the mouse since Jan 2022, and the number 1 side button has become intermittent, it requires hard presses for it to engage.
I thought maybe it would perhaps be under warranty, but I’ve sent Redragon two emails, and currently received no reply.
I appreciate the mouse is cheap (when compared to corsair or razer), but I was still hoping it would last a year at least.
The mouse itself is good, but its worth bearing in mind tje negatives etc.

EDIT- I have upped my review up to 4 stars, as Redragon came back to me and gave me a new a mouse, so while the customer service is pretty good, i dont want to give it five stars, when you consider it still failed after 8 months

I have had this mouse for almost 2 years and have had no issues at all. I’ve previously had the Razer and Corsair versions, but they barely lasted without developing issues.

Razer: after around 3 months use there was a major issue with the optical sensor making it unusable.

Corsair: After almost a year, it developed an issue with the mouse-clicking function where it double clicks 80% of the time. This may not be considered a major issue for some situations, but for cases when you have to keep trying to click on something without opening it or you only want to select something once, then you waste so much time trying to work around it.

I have spent much of this review highlighting the issues with the branded versions, but the reason for why you are looking at this mouse is likely due to wanting to save money on a Chinese branded mouse rather than spending loads on things like Corsair, Logitech or Razer.

I have experienced no issues at all with this mouse and can go further to say that the side buttons feel better than brand versions. You can still customise the mouse how you want through the included software: changing button keys, creating and assigning macros and changing mouse profiles.

I can definitely recommend this mouse for its durability and design.

The product itself has a comfortable fit with my hand and the buttons are well placed and easy to use, however, the first mouse I got delivered had an issue with the right mouse button keeping it jammed down. Though that was the case for me and after researching the product itself, I’ve found no evidence that this is not a common occurrence and it was just a case of my own misfortune, but it should probably be considered if you plan on buying.
Overall, I am myself very happy with the product and would recommend it to people who are in search of a cheaper gaming mouse.

I would also like to point out that the customer service was amazing. They helped me though possible fixes for the produce and when it couldn’t be resolve, sent me over a new one in a few short days. This has made the misfortunate situation as stress free as possible and are a great deal of help if any problems should arise.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this to replace an aging mouse which cost 4 times the price from a well known ‘gamer’ brand.
The key feature which caught my eye was the extra little button over the Left Mouse button and that’s a game-changer in itself (every mouse should have it!).

Quality is top notch. I use this for 10hrs+ every day (and have done for a year) and have had 0 issues.

The weighting in hand (with the added benefit of being able to change it with the provided weights to your own taste) is perfect.

The side-buttons for MMO style actions took some getting used to as they are decidedly stiffer than the same buttons on the mouse this replaced but once the initial ‘getting used to it’ period was over the experience is overall better as the stiffer keys stopped ‘accidental presses’ which was a big problem with the mouse this replaced.

The software is good. Not the most intuitive but not a massive learning curve. The big benefit of the software is that it actually ‘flashes’ up to 5 different profiles into some onboard memory on the mouse so you simply start it up, configure the mouse as you want then shut it down. It doesn’t need to sit in memory like many other manufacturers software does. You can uninstall it completely and your profiles are fine as they’re stored in the mouse itself.

I noticed one of the reviews said the software did weird things to their system. I have installed, uninstalled and re-installed dozens this software dozens, if not hundreds of times on 3 different PCs over the last year and a half and have found no issues whatsoever.

Overall this product just hits every mark. I genuinely believe it’s a better MMO/FPS hybrid mouse than any of the big brands at 3-4 times the price. So convinced am I that I actually bought 2 more of them so that I will have spares for when this one fails (although circa 5500 hours usage on my first one and no issues)

If I love this product so much why haven’t I given it 5 stars across the board you may ask? Well I give a 4 for accuracy. Not of the mouse itself but of the advertising/placement here on Amazon which seems to suggest that the M913 is the wireless equivalent of the M908. It most assuredly *is not*.

As good as this mouse is, the M913 is awful. See my ‘sister’ review for that one before buying. Short summary: While it shares much in common, the M913 is not the wireless version of this mouse – Ergonomically it doesn’t have the weight (or extra weights) etc.

RedDragon: Please! Give us a like-for-like wireless equivalent to this mouse with decent wireless signal! (see M913 review). I’ll buy at least 3 😀

Important to note that Redragon M908 is my second mouse on my first ever PC, which is used for gaming, my first was a HyperX pulsefire core so as to offer some understanding as to my experience. The mouse appears to me as an awesome choice towards upgrading my gaming peripherals, more specifically the 12 assignable buttons on the side are easy to access and allows a more fluid motion to gaming, something which seemed lacking since transitioning from console to PC. My understanding ends there at this moment in time but there is a mode switch that allows to switch between different DPI but this is still not within my understanding to offer any opinions. Very satisfied with the choice of mouse even with my limited knowledge of gaming peripherals. Edit: dpi- button is broken (stuck/doesn’t click). Only just realised after finding software to edit the button configuration but until then I had thought the design was ornamental to match the DPI+ button. -1star otherwise a perfect 5 star.

4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect upgrad from HyperX crossfire core

I bought this after being let down by the Titanwolf and their (lack of) customer services.
My old Corsair broke after a few years and I wanted a thicker mouse that suits my 50/50 style of claw/flat grip.
I have spent large and small amounts on PC hardware over the years and my Zelotes C-12 is by far the cheapest, and the best, mouse I have ever used.
So I was willing to shop the cheap section to find a mouse that was more like the C-12 but with the extra buttons needed for my World of Warcraft gaming.
First the Titanwolf was a disaster. Poorly designed and broke within a week of getting it.
The I tried this little fella and being honest, it’s not as comfortable as the Zelotes but it is more comfortable than the Razer Naga or the Corsair Scimitar.
If you want a decent, accurate, mouse for MMO gaming and you feel a limited in choice with the expensive guys (seriously, the Logitech, Razer, and Corsair are the only premium MMO mice available really) then do yourself a favour and stay clear of the Titanwolf, and give this guy a buy.

This mouse is almost fantastic. While it can take some time understanding that you have to google the software to download it, and recording macros is incredibly unintuitive (not even sure we can rename them?) It’s the combo key functionality that’s let me down.

I had gotten this hoping to be able to bind the side buttons to use Shift + Num Keys while playing my games, but as there’s no delay between the mouse pressing shift and pressing one the games will flip a coin to decide whether or not I get the intended keypresses of Shift + 1 or just plain old 1.

Now I could record 12 separate macros to get around this but not only is that a tedious bandaid fix, once you’ve recorded a macro and moved on there’s no way to select a previously recorded macro to view it’s instructions. This combined with the inability to name macros makes them awkward to use at best.

I’m still going to get some use out of this mouse, and it’s going to help with simple operations on other software, but it’s not close enough to what was advertised for me to recommend it.

I bought this as a secondary mouse for my G502, mainly to play MMOs.

The software is decent, although not as good as ICUE or Logitech software. When adjusting the DPI, its a slider incrementing in 100 and you dont know the exact DPI until you stop holding down. As the mouse goes up to such a high DPI and the slider is so small, its annoying to change the DPI by small amounts. The lighting seems good, but you have to press apply after changing it, per profile, which takes a few seconds.

The ergonomics are great, especially for my pinky which would usually tire after a long time on the G502. I have fairly large hands (20x9cm) and with a palm grip my fingers go slightly off the edge of left and right click.

The included weights were already installed in the mouse when my arrived, instead of the little case you get, and I had some trouble opening up the slot for them, in the end i used a piece of thick paper and I managed to open it up. The feet are great, maybe even better than the aftermarket Hotline’s on my G502.
The side buttons are also set to be the number row by default, so I had to chase down a keyboard with a numpad and set it to that. No Mouse 4, 5 etc as far as im aware.

Packaging was nice if not a little basic, you get the outer box, warranty contact information, a sticker, the mouse and a little box to store the weights away in.

The mouse is very firm and comfortable shaped intuitively to the shape of your hand. You can adjust the DPI via buttons just underneath the mouse-wheel and via software – each button on the mouse is programmable. There are 12 buttons on the side intended for MMO games where you can quickly select each skill via your mouse instead of the keyboard. It takes a little learning to know where each button is, they are grooved in a certain pattern so you an kind of feel your way round the buttons.

Overall the RGB effects are nice and not to overbearing, I don’t think they are compatible with other components unlike Razer or Corsair products so if your going for a matching RGB effect it might be worth investing a little more. They are however they are highly controllable via the included software with effects like rainbow, breathing, custom colours etc. I was actually really impressed with the overall options available.

The mouse weighs about 100g before the weights are added, and the weights add about 20g of additional weight, in honesty its a nice idea but I really didn’t notice much difference with or without the weights, they simply don’t have enough of weight to make much difference. I’ve tried the Cyborg RAT Mouse and the counterweights actually make a considerable difference.

Overall I am very impressed for what you pay, I purchased the mouse as part of a lightning deal for about 28, the next best product are around the 80-90 mark. Quality wise this is on par with only a few small little niggles like the weights being more of a novelty than a usable feature.

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly recommended and on par with mice twice the price!
