Running Vest Phone Holder with Waterproof Phone Pouch
Running Vest Phone Holder with Waterproof Phone Pouch, Lightweight Design, Adjustable Belt Band, 2 Shoulder Pockets for Keys/Gels, Reflective for Safety, for Cycling, Jogging, Smartphones up to 6.8”
A good idea if you are going ultra light but I am a very big guy and even with me taking the biggest size it was still a tight squeeze.
It isnt really the fault of the manufacturer to make sure that their athletic vest fits my tubby form BUT it would be nice to have a size that did not crush me.
Got to say that I’m a fan of this vest, it looks pretty sharp straight out of the box. It’s really well put together with great stitching, quality zips, and lightweight yet durable material.
There’s loads of storage, as much as you could need for exercise, that is, two shoulder-situated pockets for keys and energy gels, plus the large fold-out compartment for your phone on the chest.
It’s comfortable to wear, doesn’t interfere with movement, and the reflective elements are like cats eyes in the dark, so add a fantastic element of safety.
Like almost everyone my phone is large and difficult to carry when I’m running and such a running vest is designed to help. The main pocket is big enough to hold my 6.3 inch phone with plenty of space for a larger one, it is waterproof so the phone doesn’t get sweaty. There are 2 other pockets which can hold a gel or house key but not big enough for a car key and house key. There are reflective stripes.
The biggest problem I find is getting it on or off, there are no clips so I slip it over my head and then my head gets scratched by the plastic adjusters. Once on it is pretty comfortable but I need to find a better method of putting it on.
This vest phone holder is great to use for running or riding the bike. Pocket large enough for my phone. It has a good secure zip so phone doesn’t fall from pocket. It’s also very comfortable, lightweight.
Good value for money.
Very good idea for running and practical solution to keep all you need with you. Vest surprisingly is not big and bulky. It is tight and sits snugly on your chest. It can accommodate any size smartphone in front pocket. It is very secure from falling out as well any weather conditions since it is hidden in pocket and pouch and everything is protected with sealed zip. There is even smaller pocket on front for money or debit card. Besides of that on right shoulder there is small pocket for key, you cannot fit whole bunch of keys, just 3 max but still great. Vest is very light and fully waterproof since it has been made of neoprene. If you prefer running evening time having reflecting strips is definitely beneficial for your safety. Great product at affordable price.
This is my second running vest and it looks better. The only advantage of the other one was that it seemed a bit lighter.
Not that it’s heavy or anything. I guess the front pocket and the solid materials used made me think/feel that way.
It’s made of neoprene with mesh holes for ventilation. It does get sweaty, but I’m always soaked in sweat anyway after my runs. The positive is that it’s more durable and 100% waterproof, including the front pocket.
The zipper is also protected from water getting in. It may sometimes make opening the pocket slightly challenging, but not too difficult. The pocket is like a flap – you open it downwards and on the outside part you have a clear phone sleeve finished with a tight velcro strap. You can see and use the touchscreen without any issues – even the fingerprint works (the on-screen one, not sure about the button ones). The chest part of the pocket has a smaller pocket for a card holder or small money pouch.
On the outside there are two more small pockets, located at the top of both straps. On one side there’s an open elastic sleeve you will normally use for some running gels, and on the other strap there’s a small zipped pocket for keys. It’s a bit small but I manage to get my huge bunch of keys to fit.
The straps run right under your chest – the whole position of this vest is more in the upper parts. I’d prefer it slightly lower, but then I’m not sure about the comfort. Because where it is, it doesn’t restrict any movement. It’s really comfortable. A slight criticism on straps – they have a rubberized surface to keep the buckles in place once regulated, but at the same time it does make it more difficult to adjust the straps.
Like any running vest, this one has quite a few reflective elements, which help make you more visible if you’re running in bad weather or in the evening.
There are no pockets in the back and that’s good – they are normally a nightmare to reach and therefore aren’t very useful.
Overall this is my main running vest now. The other one I’ll keep as spare and most likely it will end up at my parents house, so I can jog when I stay with them. It’s well made, comfortable and functional. It looks good too. The 22 isn’t too much if you consider the materials, the looks and the cool phone pocket. Nothing more to add apart from – highly recommended.
Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful.
Got my delivery this morning and headed straight out for a tester as I’ve never had one before. Very light weight, very comfortable and good quality for money.
Anyone’s after a vest this is the one to buy 100%
A very nice quality padded and waterproof running vest, convenient pockets on the front and reflective accents all around.
It’s a strong and comfortable low profile carry solution while out running to hold your phone, keys, wallet and an energy gel/snack. The material is mix of elastic, padded material and padded mesh so it’s breathable and comfortable even when running in hot weather or when you get sweaty.
It has a few pockets on the front – main zipped front section has a clear panel velcro pocket on the front half flap when opened, a slit pocket on the chest part of the main pouch, an elasticated velcro shoulder pocket for an energy gel on the left and on the opposite side it has a vertical zipped pocket for another small item like my keys.
The rear doesn’t contain any pouches which doesn’t bother me as the last running vest I had that did have those were far too awkward to reach without taking the vest off.
The harness has a good amount of reflective accents which work well, the hip/lower chest straps are easy to adjust and tighten without too much difficulty and the rubber over the reflective print helps keep securely adjusted so it won’t become loose from running.
It’s a good running bag/vest, 21.99 might be seen as expensive but it is really well made, the only improvement I’d suggest is to have a double zip so the zippers are placed at the top of the bag instead of having to unzip it from the bottom side.
I like to make notes on my phone while I run and it’s just a bit easier to unzip a small gap in the top and take my phone out instead of having to unzip half the bag.
Pockets on riding gear not big enough for my large phone and this fit the bill perfectly. Nice secure zip pouch that my phone sits in easily and big plus, it’s waterproof so I know it’s safe when out riding in the rain. Really comfy, you can adjust the waistband to fit and so it’s snug and not flapping around like the bum bag I used to use which also wasn’t waterproof. It has two more mini pockets for keys etc. Great find – not just for runners!
“RUN-LITE” Running Vest with Waterproof Phone Holder in Zip Close Pouch, Lightweight Design, Adjustable Belt Band, 2 Shoulder Pockets for Keys/Gels, Reflective for Safety, Ideal for Cycling, Jogging, Outdoor Activities. Black
A very well made and versatile running vest which should tic all the boxes. The main vest is made of a mesh / ventilated stretch material that is comfortable to wear. The solid back runs over the shoulders where two small pockets are located. The one on the right is zip close and on the left a small square of Velcro acts as the fastening. The zip side is ideal for a key as it remains secure.
The front pouch has a zip on three sides and is waterproof. Inside when the zip is fully open the outer part of the pouch drops down revealing a clear pocket to take a phone. This pocket has a Velcro close top which is not that easy to find. It is not the top of the clear panel, you will find it almost tucked into the zip at the top. A phone can be operated whilst sealed inside the clear pocket. This will accommodate phones up to about 6.5″ in length. The back of the pouch has an open pocket.
Around the bottom is a 2″ elasticated “belt” with buckle adjusters each side. This is not a waist belt as it lies about halfway down the chest and could perhaps have been a bit lower to give a more satisfying fit.
Very well made using good materials, it has a nice handle and will last a long time. Handy for runners and any outdoor activity if you want to travel light.
4 STAR
This has filled a hole in my running wardrobe! And pleased my husband too! I couldn’t find a comfortable way to carry my phone while running, so was leaving the phone behind. I have tried arm bands, belts and short pockets and realised I don’t have much tolerance for anything uncomfortable while I’m running! But this is so comfortable.. it has space for my key.. a touch screen compartment for my phone.. I don’t even have to take the case off.. and even a few extra pockets for some jelly babies! (Just in case!) it’s perfect..

So there are lots of nice things about this running vest, all the pockets, the waterproof phone holder the foldout design really does work well and you can use you phone inside the Velcro pouch.
I am quite busty and so it looks a little odd with my sports bra, as its short it doesn’t fit against my skin but sort of under bust with parts not touching me at all but having said that it is really comfy to wear once you have got it on over your head.
Comfortable, easy to wear, easily adjustable and keeps my phone secure whilst running. Came in nice packaging with a guide on its features! Used many times and has been nothing but perfect. Highly recommend.
I use mine whilst running, it’s really good, fits well with plenty of room for a phone and keys. I’ve also used it for cycling and walking the dog.
It’s easy to adjust and you can wash it which it does need occasionally as it gets sweaty.
It doesn’t move around much when you’re moving… All in all a good purchase.
