Been looking at getting a new pc for gaming and video editing. After lots of looking around i found this was the best build and price for my budget. Really pleased with it. The pc came very well packaged and was easy to set up and get running. The rgb light fans have a remote for changing the colours,pattern,brightness or just turn them off completly.

I love this PC as it is very compact , and very fast and powerful , its can take all the usb-2 hardware I run on my MSFS 2020 flight simulator and with my Range of Saitek equipment , all on window-11 . and its great for any game .

I received this pc two days earlier than advertised which was a bonus, there was no initial setup needed as everything was preloaded and assembled for me. All I had to do was plug all my existing cables etc and switch on.
This is nice and fast but slightly more noisy because of the fans than my last pc, me just being picky! All I can say is that I think this is good value for money and does everything I need.
First of all, the packaging was superb, it came delivered next day which was very impressive, the build quality of this pc looks very professional too. I bought this pc for my son and it will be his first pc, I unboxed the pc and started it up and everything went smoothly, tried a couple of games to which the pc performed well at. It is now wrapped and ready for Christmas Day. I’m a very happy customer and thanks to Scan for there attention to detail. Happy custome
The PC arrived the day after I ordered it. It was well packaged both outside and inside of the PC. There were helpful setup guides, as well as a box containing manuals, CDs etc. Setting it up was straightforward, following the quick setup guide included and so far I’ve had no problems. The only negatives is that there are a couple of scratches on the glass case at the front and that the PC is quite loud. Overall I am happy with my purchase.
The computer runs like a dream. It was a little fiddly to set up having to swap out for a HDMI cable and finding the correct slot to wire it up. Over all it’s much lighter than my previous 2015 rig. My daughter loves the RGB lights, I often come to find them set to pink.
Runs modern games such as Cyberpunk and Baulders Gate 3 well. It’s an air cooled system so you’ll need to clean the fans and vents eventually.
We have bought this PC for our younger boy for Christmas.
Our older lad who also has a Ryzen/RTX combo (but somewhat older) did quite a bit of research on various sites as well as on Amazon and narrowed it down to a couple of options.
We decided to go with this option as the specification looked good for the price, and Scan have a good reputation.
Delivery was quick as the PC came the next day. The PC was very well protected with lots of packaging (as others have mentioned previously).
Once unpacked it was easy to assemble and had lots of information to help us set it up. Everything was fine with the build quality and the step-by-step instructions for set-up are extremely easy to follow and leaves no uncertainty.
I brought this to replace my aging 10 year old PC , this one ticked the boxes as my aim was for a PC that excelled in 1440p gaming and VR (not bothered about 4k), but i imagine it would be fine for some 4k gaming as well. This PC has met or exceeded my expections and runs everything at high or ultra settings at high FPS and VR is superb with no slow down i can tell on Oculus rift. Arrived well packaged with next day delivery. Easy to setup and was gaming that evening.
I’ve wanted a gaming PC for a while, and decided on this one based on the reviews.
I’m very happy with it, very solid and very decently priced for the specs, you could definitely do better on the specs building on your own for the same price but honestly if you can’t be bothered with doing it yourself, this is a fantastic deal.
The PC can withstand anything you throw at it and more, gets a little bit noisy even when I’m not gaming with the fans but with my headphones on I barely notice it most of the times as it is very quiet.
The packaging was absolutely brilliant, more padding than I’ve ever seen in my entire life, all the documents showing what was done and even some screenshots left behind to show what it’s capable of, can really tell the people behind it know how to treat their products so I wouldn’t really look anywhere else for a PC, I’d recommend it to my friends for sure!!
My only complaint is that there’s not much choice on a few of the components, in my case, I’d really like a 2TB disk and wouldn’t mind paying the difference but alas.
There’s also the fact that it was delivered one day before the scheduled delivery date and I wasn’t home, so it was picked up by a neighbor which is odd as for high value price usually that doesn’t happen, not sure why it was different here but it was a bit concerning but perhaps amazon was at fault on that.
If you’re on the fence, I’d choose this one though, 100%.
I recently got this PC and it’s been amazing. The speed is incredible, and games run super smooth, even on high settings. It’s also really quiet, which is a plus. The design is neat and fits well with my setup. Totally recommend it for anyone into gaming!
I got the i713700F with 32gb of ram and so far it is taking everything I throw at it on max settings.
Well I will start with saying this was an Awesome purchase start to finish. This is my first windows machine in over 25 years (strictly a Mac household) I left windows all that time ago as it was always a continuous process of build, tinker, fix it, get frustrated but wow things have moved on and honestly I’m glad once again to be purchasing from Scan. The PC is great spec for the money, extremely fast, and stunning to look at. I had two small issues that I rang Scan for on a Saturday, spoke to a very nice chap who answered both of my questions perfectly. So if you’re on the fence don’t be, you will love a 3XS PC from Scan.
I did quite a bit of research on various sites as well as on Amazon and narrowed it down to a couple of options. I decided to go with this one as the spec seemed good for the price and, I know Scan have a good reputation.
Delivery was quick and the PC was packed really well (as others have mentioned previously). Once unpacked it was easy to set up. I turned it on and went through the usual rigmarole of setting up Windows. Once complete I then found out that there was an issue with the WiFI card. It didn’t have a good signal – despite being next to my mesh WiFi adapter. As well as having a weak signal, it kept losing connection and installing Steam and various games was proving to be a problem.
I moved it into another room and set it up on my dining table. The same room as my router, so I thought the signal would improve. It didn’t. So I ran a network cable across the floor, plugged it in and it ran like a dream. I decided to take advantage of my WiFi 6 router and mesh set up, so ordered a replacement WiFi 6 card to replace the one fitted as standard.
My previous PC had 2 M.2 SSDs installed, so I thought I’d remove those and install them into this machine. That’s when I noticed problem number 2 – the installed motherboard only had the 1 (occupied) M.2 slot. So I looked around for an adapter so I could make use of my other drives – I have data on both that I don’t want to lose. I found this to be a problem, as the motherboard only has one PCIe x16 slot (which already contained the graphics card) and 2 PCIe x1 slots (1 of which contained the WiFi adapter). This has severely limited my options, as dual PCIe x1 NVMe adapters are not so common and most can’t take 2 drives (they’re fine for SATA M.2 drives, but not so much for NVMe). So I’m now looking at getting an external USB dual M.2 adapter – not ideal, but it’ll do at a push.
Sooo… (slight) negatives aside – how’s the PC?
It’s a beast. It’s very fast, runs like a dream and the build quality is second to none. There’s 32Gb of RAM and a 2Tb M.2 SSD installed, so plenty to handle the games I’ve installed. The RTX4070 can run everything I’ve thrown at it so far in ultra high settings and plays great. I’m looking forward to next week as I’m off work and will be spending a lot of time gaming!
I contacted Scan about the network adapter and they got back to me straight away. They told me that they fit a standard card to allow people to use WiFi if they need to. I told them I’d purchased a replacement and they offered to accept the one I removed as a return and said they’d refund me for it. I’d initially agreed to do this, but have since changed my mind as it’s not really worth the effort for a few quid – I’m more than happy with my purchase and they were super helpful.
Would I recommend this computer? Yes, it’s extremely well built, has all the muscle I need and is extremely fast. Despite my small setbacks (not everyone will have additional M.2 drives they need to install and I think the WiFi adapter may have been faulty) I’m more than happy with my purchase.
I’ll certainly purchase from Scan again in the future. Good PC, good price and great customer service!
Like everyone else is saying the product came the next day and was extremely well protected.
Nothing a miss with the build quality and the step by step instructions for setup are extremely easy to follow and leaves no uncertainty.
In comparison to other similar systems this was the best priced with more storage. It has easily handled everything I have thrown at it from games like baldurs gate 3 to quick rendering times in blender.
Finally the rgb for the front and back fans have a button to cycle through different schemes and if you want you can turn them off by holding said button down.
All in all the build quality, warranty and ease of setup made this a pleasant experience and worth the extra little bit of money you could save by building this pc yourself.
Package arrived after a few phone calls to my local dpd centre which is pretty normal for me as they are always a pain in the arse in my area so no fault of Scan.The gaming pc came expertly packaged despite the dpd driver dropping the thing on my basement steps but thanks to the copious amount of padding it didn’t cause any problems other than a few tears in the main box.Enough about dpd and onto the excellent build quality of the rig,it far exceded what i was expecting with regard to the quality of parts and the watercooling was a nice bonus as was the fact it has its own power mode built into windows which i assume means it’s already been overclocked to some degree which is nice as i don’t really go near overclocking as i’ll probably blow it up if i tried.
I really can’t find a fault with this build,it runs like a train on everyday use so i’ve now just got to give it a go with some games which i’ll be doing very soon with Dying Light 2 to test it.Ok have just run dying light 2 on 2560/1440 on the highest settings and it’s buttery smooth i’m happy to say so this system is perfect for my needs just need to give starfield a go to really test it out.
Wish i had gone for the rtx 4070 but that’s my fault as i was smashed when i placed the order and didn’t pay much attention to the graphics card number but hey ho i’ll make do with the 4060 and avoid 4k as i think it may struggle a bit with that and i have an xbox series x and ps5 so 4k on my rig isn’t really something i was aiming for.
To summise i’d say if you want a very well built gaming rig i’d strongly recommend Scan as the build quality is second to none compared to some of the cowboy outfits on amazon who sell you a 1500 gaming rig and the graphics card fries after less than 2 months and the installed parts are no name junk,i will be reccomending Scan to anyone who’s after a fair priced Rig that is professionaly put together by people who know there stuff.

Just properly tested it out with Starfield on maximum settings and it ran perfectly,this rig just gets better and better with every game i throw at it.
I have the i9-32GB 4070 spec for this PC and have waited to have a decent amount of time clocked on games before writing this quick review, as these aren’t cheap and i wanted it to be honest and helpful to anyone wanting to spend this sort of money.
This thing runs like a monster. It breezes Starfield on high graphics settings, after a decent gaming session the GPU didn’t go over 81 degrees so we still had plenty of room before hitting any problems. The fans weren’t to loud at all.
The PC itself was built to perfection. Very tidy Cable management inside and everything seemed to be hooked up perfectly. They had set up windows and also set up the optimal settings for the GPU and components so this is literally a plug in and play PC build there was no need to really change anything.
My only negative is the built in WiFi card dosent support 5g, only 2.4 which for me gave me horrible Internet speeds for gaming. But this can easily be fixed with an adaptor set brought from Amazon which uses the wiring in your house to carry your Internet signal from your router to your chosen plug socket. After I sorted this is plugged the PC in using an ethernet cable and had no problems.
I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a pre build.
The case, while not top-end (I’d not expect that at the price) is well made and the double glass panels actually are very stylish, and show off the four internal LED fans well.
The heart of the machine is the 4070ti graphics card, which handles games at 1440p with ease at top settings. Unlike some other brands pre-built machines, Scan didn’t skimp on the CPU, fitting the newest 13th generation CPU, and the new I5 handle games and productivity far better than previous generations.
Nice and quiet even during load, we have no complaints at all – booted first time with no issues.
I knew I wanted a Ryzen 7 processor and an RTX 4070 graphics card, I shopped around and this SCAN PC was one of the most affordable but offered twice the SSD size than its nearest rival. I decided to get it and I am so pleased I did.
The PC itself looks amazing, it’s a black tower and not too ostentatious. One side is glass so you can see the internals, this means you can see all the funky LED lights inside. The internal config is very neat, SCAN have done a great job and everything seems very accessible so if I wanted to make any future upgrades, this should be relatively easy.
The PC performs brilliantly, the Ryzen 7 5700X is an excellent processor and the graphics card has enabled me to use Davinci Resolve with no issues at all. It really is a very fast machine. The only issue I had was that the WiFi signal seemed very weak – however that’s because I hadn’t screwed in the Wi-Fi antenna at the back! Once I did this it had full signal strength!
It was packaged well, the box was massive and only just fit in my car. The PC was well protected, I could have thrown it down a flight of stairs and it would have been fine! The inside of the PC was nicely packaged with bubble wrap too which needed removing before use. It’s nice to see that SCAN take their packaging seriously, there was no opportunity for anything to move around inside the PC as it was so well protected.
The PC handles everything I throw at it, it’s amazingly quiet too, the WD Externla Hard disk I bought is louder than the PC itself!
The only niggle I have is that it has no USB-C ports, it’s not a massive issue as I have a USB hub.
Thankfully it has 2 USB ports at the front which I use all the time for connecting my digital camera, it;s nice to have easy-to-access ports.
Some have mentioned that you can’t turn the lights off, there is an LED button on the PC which cycles through LED effects and can turn them off – but it only works for one set of LEDs on the rear fan, so even if you turn them off, the Processor heat sync and the GPU lights are still on! It’s not an issue for me as I really like the lights!
In a nutshell: A superb PC. I would definitely recommend this, my son is in awe of it and when the time comes to upgrade his machine to a new one (it’s a small Lenovo so can’t really upgrade much), I will definitely be looking to get another SCAN machine.
The good:
– Asus Mobo, Zotec GPU, 3200MHz RAM.
– Detailed paperwork, including a build and test report. They included every piece of paper that came with the components, along with every cable, screw, and all other bits.
– Proper packaging. DPD did a number on the external box, but the ton of air cushions protected the internal box. The PC was filled with smaller air cushions which kept everyhing in place.
– Nice work with the cables, I guess it wasn’t his first rig.
– Custom Win11 installer on a USB stick with Scan’s mods (i.e. power profile).
The bad:
– Windows 11 Home, but it’s not Scan’s fault. Debloat or reinstall with a cleaned image.
– RGB fans. And while you can change the color/pattern with a button, you can’t dim or turn off the lights. There are 4 of them (3 front, 1 back) and they are very bright.
– The fans are powered from a SATA connector and not connected to the motherboard for control. They run at 100% all the time which is what they’d do if you start any recent AAA title anyway… Luckily they aren’t that loud, but if you plan to do other stuf not just gaming than you should look into some fan controllers.
Yeah, those fans the only thing I can moan about, but hey, they are fine absolutely for this price point and they do cool the hot bits.
