I got this on special offer of just over a fiver, I don’t think it worth any more than that, is a nice lunch box but not the full price there asking
If you’re as disorganised as me sometimes you just have to do a fridge sweep for your lunch the next day, scooping up bits and pieces eg a carrot, some hummus, some fruit, etc. This is perfect for that because it lets me keep everything separate. I would prefer the lid was detachable rather than hinged but that’s a small thing.
Initially I thought I would have to wash all the sections by hand. Thankfully that is not the case and being able to put straight into the dishwasher is a huge plus.
Bought for my sons lunch box for summer camps. It was perfect size for a good sized lunch and so easy to clean as you take it all a part and just pop into the dish washer.
Only downside to this is if you have fruit in it not in the little pot it comes with it might leak, I’d washed my fruit and when I took it out my bag it had leaked. Started putting it inside of a hat to counter this. Aside from that really good lunch box plenty of room and compartments.
A great buy. Colour is sent by random, but I ended up getting a colour I like (aqua blue). Great size for the snack and the main meal portions, feels really sturdy and can take microwaving well.
I brought this as a lunchbox for my 5yo for school trips. He has struggled to open other versions but this was easy for him and still closes firmly enough to seal.
The compartments are a great size and we have been able to fill the screw top pot with fruit and fit gingerbread men down the sides. We now use it to hold family snacks when we go out for the day as it is a great size.
Great quality bento box, with handy compartments. The top tray fits a whole sandwich which is perfect – no need for wrapping in clingfilm or foil. We received the nice teal colour.
Not sure if the trays are dishwasher proof as they have warped! Still useable so doesn’t bother me.
Bargain for 8.
The one negative thing I’ll say is to double check the colour name as I thought I was receiving a cyan and clear lunch box but instead got a dark blue/clear one. Other than that I LOVE this product!! I’ve been looking for cheap bento boxes recently and had no luck finding anything under 10 but this is a great alternative! The sauce pot is completely leak proof. Probably going to be giving them as gifts this yea
I use these for school packed lunches and love all of the different compartments allowing me to seperate out the food.
They are quite large/deep so just make sure they will fit inside packed lunch bags – they fit nice and snug in both my children’s bags but worth checking measurements before hand
The only reason I have deducted a star is because it arrived in green colour which I was not expecting. The pictures are purple and no where is there an option to change colour or does it mention it might arrive in a different colour.
Not a problem for me as my children don’t mind however if you had a child who was set on purple then beware.
All in all – absolutely fantastic bento box for lunches and days out.
Ordered two, got pink and blue. Sturdy and versatile. Also purchased Sistema To Go Mini Bites, 130 ml – Multi-Colour, Pack of 3. The lids are the same size as the included pot but they’re not as deep. I’ve put yoghurt in the included one and taken out the small side tray and included a smaller pot of dip which works well, with crisps or carrots in the big tray. Lots of options, great for portion control and good for the environment as no more tiny yoghurt pots I can just buy one big one. Lunch just got way more exciting.
We’ve gone through a fair bit of this Sistema stuff, so when my daughter wanted a lunch box I searched by the brand. Not disappointed, performs exactly as expected.
The box itself has 2 plastic inlays and a pot. I put the sandwiches in the top, larger inlay to encourage my little one to eat the real food before any snacks underneath. The yoghurt pot is used more for chopped grapes / blueberries, but the lid is secure. All sections wash well in the top rack of the dishwasher and the clasp is large and easy to operate for small hands.
One point worth noting is that there are colour options (Pink & Blue i think) plus assorted with a picture of a purple one. I didn’t spot this and was expecting purple, but got green. 100% my fault for not reading it properly and not a disaster – but worth checking.
