Fab bit of kit.
As soon as I’d tested it, I bought another.
Construction feels really good/strong/quality.
Operates really well, charges really well too.
We use them for tent camping.
It’s really nice that you can change the type of light, ie warm white, cool white, or combined.
The warm white attracts the moths/bugs alot less than the ‘bluer’ settings.
Really pleased.
Weather were we are is cloudy, little bit of sun and rain. I put it on my window seal indoors, with window open or shut. I think it’s good, i use it to save me on electric. It might be tiny amount, even after 3 days. It’s well made, so hopefully will work for a long time. So in the end will pay for its self and save a little after as well, it’s good source of light, low to bright light. Two types of connection, I can go, would definitely recommend. I’ve tried several different ones, there also on my window seal lol collecting. I’m none as, weather person lol. Rain means free windows washed, sun free electric.
Washing machine on waste water, go’s in bucket to flush toilet saves on water bill. It’s good excersie as well, when i can do it.
This lamp is very sturdy and holds charge longer than I’d anticipated. It is great for camping as can be used as a power bank as well. Overall it seems well worth the charging price of 22 and would definitely recommend to anyone that’s interested.
This solar powered light is great for camping as it is lightweight and easy to carry. There are 3 different light modes and the brightness can be adjusted too. It can also be used as a power bank, charged my android phone with it. The solar panels are quite big and charges well. It can be hung inside the tent and also easy to carry around at night while camping.
It can also be used at home as an emergency lamp or a bedside lamp. The touch buttons work well.
I ordered this for an upcoming camping trip and have been quite impressed with it so far.
What I really like is although this is solar powered, it can also be charged via included cable, just incase you don’t get much sun light.
We’ve charged this recently on a windowsill, as there’s been so much sun, and it’s kept going ever since- does seem to have quite a long battery life.
Quite compact design- as the solar panels almost ‘hide’ when you put the light back together. Has a switch to change the type of light you receive.
Not the brightest light I own but certainly not the dimmest either.
What I don’t like is the off button is very sensitive. I actually video’d this 3 times and couldn’t get the off button to work properly. In the end I had my daughter come to the rescue who could get it off.
If you decided to not use this as a light, you could actually use it as a power bank- which is excellent for camping.
Priced at 30 seems reasonable for this type of light.
Overall we’ve been pleased and happy to recommend.
At my parents house they often have power cuts so I brought this solar powered lamp over. It charges either via the sun or you can plug it in. The buttons are touch sensitive too. It is nice and bright and has adjustable brightness as well as colour temperature. It’s also great because you can use it as a solar powered phone charger. This makes it brilliant for tines when you have no access to electricity.
With three light modes, it caters to all indoor and outdoor needs, offering a range from warm light to cool white light. Its hand touch-controlled dimmable feature adds convenience to usage.
One of the standout features of this camping light is its brightness, making it an excellent emergency light during nighttime situations. Additionally, its ability to function as a power bank is impressive, allowing simultaneous charging of two devices. Furthermore, the inclusion of two solar panels adds to its practicality.
In my testing, no issues were encountered, and the performance of this camping light exceeded expectations. Overall, I highly recommend this rechargeable outdoor camping light for its functionality, versatility, and reliability.
This is such a clever camping light or any use light as it splits in two to reveal two solar panels one behind each light that folds out flat and then you leave in the sun all day and fold back up and use all night,it can also be charged by the usb cable provided and once charged can be used as a power bank.It has 3 light modes warm white, warm light and cool white and all can be dimmed. There’s 4 red leds on the base that go out one by one with the drop of power so you know when to charge it again. It’s also quite light so easy to carry with the rest of your gear. This light as been great for a few of my wild camping trips especially with the sunny days we’ve been getting I’ve just left open all day to then be used at night it’s also waterproof so no worry if it gets a bit wet,for the price you can’t go wrong as specially now at the time of review as there’s a voucher offer.5 stars from me.
Quite a useful little USB light with the added bonus of being able to be charged in 2 ways either via usb or solar power when the flaps are opened up. Perfect for use outside where a light is needed.
This light also doubles up as a charger and emits different levels of lighting from low to high and from warm to cool. All of these functions are achieved by way of a single button.
The functioning of the on /off switch was not obvious to me so I had to check the instructions. You have to push the power button once quickly in order for it to turn it off.
It has a useful carry handle. So it can be placed on a flat surface or hung up.
It’s not very heavy so perfect to take away and is also waterproof which is good to know if using outside.
I don’t go camping but love these type of low energy lights around my house at they are cheap to run.
It’s a really sunny day today so I’ll put in my garden to power it up further
Normally these type of lights come with some sort of charge so that they can be used straight away. This one didn’t so i had to charge it a little before I could use it.
We don’t always have access to electricity when we go camping so this is a great way to have a nice omnidirectional light that is not only easy to carry but pretty compact
We can either charge it at home or the sides fold out and you have the solar panels inside
We just leave it open during the day and then close the sides and can illuminate the area around the te
I quite like this, it’s a well though out design with its style and function… though there are a few things that could do with improvement.
I like that it has the touch sensitive buttons for power/brightness and for colour tone (warm, medium, cold tones), it can be stood as a lantern or folded open and hung like a striplight, you can charge it via USB or use the built in solar panels and even use the second USB socket to charge your phone from!
Things I think could do with a tweak? The top brightness isn’t overly bright so it struggles to illuminate a large-ish tent, the general finish looks good but the central panel with handle is a bit plasticky and feels flimsy, the solar panels don’t seem capable of getting it to full charge even in direct strong sunlight all day, which is a bit concerning as it says it only has a 4400mAh battery in it. As such you might struggle to have light all evening if you’re only using the solar panels and then topping up your phone from this during a camping trip.
Niggly and subjective gripes I’m sure, but for nigh on thirty quid it could be even better.
Overall not bad, in fact a pretty good light and a well thought out design, but with the niggles for me it’s just good, not ‘wow’.
