Love this film and would put it I my top 10 films of the year. Let’s face it marvel did do some sinkers last year as well but this was not one off them. If you like the frist one you love this one
If you one of the people who are sick of superhero movies, than you just sick of bad movies, this is not one of them. Is an excellent watch with humour and action for the whole family. Awaiting with anticipation for the next movie.
This animation as well as the first one is quite possibly the best animated films of the century, they have reignited my passion for spider man and I have watched them many times to see what I missed the first time around!!
The story is really good but it seems a bit stretched at times, the animation is excellent but again sometimes it seems a bit rushed and not consistent. This might seem like I didn’t enjoy it but as I said it is really good and I can’t wait until part 2.
I would recommend this for any Spider-Man fan, especially the comic fans.
I can see immediately why some people might hate this but for me it was borderline genius. The artwork is incredible. The attention to detail in combining Spiderman history was powerful but never taking itself too seriously. Some have said it makes nonsense but I just sat back and enjoyed one of the most colourful and madhatter rollercoaster rides ever made.
I loved Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, a sequel that takes the animation and storytelling to the next level. It was a blast to see Miles Morales and his Spider-friends travel across different dimensions and face new challenges. The film was full of humor, heart, and action, and the art style was vibrant and stunning. The only downside was that the film felt a bit rushed and ended on a cliffhanger. But I can’t wait to see what happens next in the Spider-Verse.
For me it’s the best spider man movie, no boring predictable parts, interesting story, great animation. For some reason when I watch on Amazon Prime the video don’t look amazing. I watched the Spider-Man into the verse on Netflix and the video looks better, better colours and it just look smoother.
Everything you want from a movie and still wanting more at the end which you’ll understand when you watch it(no spoilers here ). 100% for you and your children to watch together.
One of my children watched it three times in the cinema and the other child twice and they still wanted to watch it again with me at home. That’s how much they liked it even though I watched it in the cinema with them so just buy loads of popcorn.
A new animated Spider-Man movie. Sequel to 2018’s ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse.’ This will not make much sense if you’ve not seen that first film, so go and do it now if you haven’t.
If you have, read on.
Miles carries on his double life. He reunites with Gwen. But she’s got a problem. Then Miles meets his arch nemesis. Supposedly. The Spot!
The Spot is a villain taken from Spider-Man comics. He’s not the biggest threat there compared to some. And has been regarded as lame. But then things get threatening here. And in addition to his increasing problems of balancing things, Miles now has to contend with a threat to the Multiverse…..
You have never seen animation like this before. This does take a few mins to settle down. But after the first set piece battle, you will be well into this. There is one sequence that those who are sensitive to flashing lights will have to close their eyes for. But just one.
It is loaded with continuity references. But this won’t put non comic readers off. It is also firmly character driven and full of genuine emotion. It manages to balance it out perfectly with the humour.
It also makes the Spot into a character who reaches his full potential.
This is a dizzying ride that you won’t want to get off.
But then it does suddenly slow down pace wise in the final act. I can say this without spoilers: that’s because it’s there for a cliffhanger, and there is a third movie to come.
That is the only issue anyone could have with this movie. The slowing down and leaving it hanging that is, not that more is to come. Because otherwise it really an amazing film. It’s a PG certificate so a bit too much perhaps for the very young to take in. I will say though it doesn’t have anything, even with all that the animation does, that should bother epileptics or anyone who can’t handle flashing lights. I am in the latter group and was fine with it. So that was nice.
Oh and the other issue is that one character is hugely annoying. Spoilers.
Even so, an amazing movie experience. Part three could be a while. No eta at the time of writing. All good things to those who wait.
A caption announcing said third movie is the only extra thing in or after the end credits.
The dvd has the following language and subtitle options:
Languages: English, Danish, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish.
Subtitles: English, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, Latvian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Swedish.
The disc begins with a short anti piracy ad. Which can be skipped via the next button on the dvd remote.
Extras:
Three featurettes:
Creating the Ultimate Spider-Man movie. Fourteen mins on the creation of the movie. Pretty absorbing stuff and it does go into good detail. It’s not just a publicity piece.
Raising a Hero: nine minutes on some of the characters and their dynamics. Also interesting to hear what is said.
Your friendly neighbourhood Spider-cast: Fourteen mins of chat with the cast. Which is affable and a good watch and flies by.
Just incredible! If love Spider-Man and/or animated films this is for you! So funny, interesting story that keeps you engaged and so many cameos of different and diverse Spider-people.
The 4K ULTRA HD Blu Ray disc version of this film has greatly improved sound and picture quality over the standard Blu Ray disc version when played through a 4K ULTRA HD Blu Ray player and a 4K ULTRA HD TV with HDR (High Dynamic Range).
Such a good sequel to the first movie, introduces loads more characters and brings in old ones. Storyline is starting to get really interesting. Cinematics are definitely better in the first movie, but still slap in this one.
Leaves it on an annoying cliffhanger though, the end of the film seems to come along very fast so bit disappointed there. Honestly can’t really complain though, it’s spiderman.
A thrilling continuation of the original animated film with several scenes giving me goosebumps. I will very likely have this one on repeat for several days in the least.
I would also recommend the art book regarding this film, absolutely stunning.
Cannot wait for the finale.
Movie was amazing as expected from what we saw in the first spider verse movie. Any age and audience can watch and enjoy it and I would high recommend it. Was a blast watching it. Viewed the movie in Cinema 4D and Online afterwards. Art was a big step up from the first movie too along with the visuals of effects.
