This is a great little device. To connect it I’d advise to turn of your mobile data then connect once it’s connected then connect it to your WiFi. The night vision is actually quite decent can see clearly. Only downside is on the sd card it records in 5mins increments not major though.

As far as an alarm clock and spy camera goes, this device works great and has a decent app that you can play around with. However, a good spy camera is something that doesn’t attract attention. A clock is something that people are always going to be looking at, thus making it more likely for them to spot the camera lens…. It’s a good device, but there are definitely better spy camera options out there.
I am absolutely pleased as punch with how easy this was to set up. The picture quality day/night vision is as good as you are going to get. I love everything about this from the camera to the speaker and last but not least the digital clock and alarm. Would definitely recommend this item.
Honestly the device is amazing, it blends in perfectly and has multiple functions that keep unsuspecting troublemakers unaware! Unfortunately, our kids caught on and now toss a blanket or anything they can find over it or tip it over or do anything to hide the camera function and don’t really use it for anything other than seeing the time.
It was effective at first but when people realise what it is, it becomes a bit problematic and feels intrusive just spying on people in your own home. Obviously it’s perfect for anyone breaking in but with loved ones? it feels a bit off. Other than that, great device.
We are using this device instead of a babycam in our toddlers room.
Picture quality is great and night vision is really good.
As soon as little one tries to jump out of his toddler bed we can see it and check on him.

This is pretty impressive considering all the features and especially as the camera gives surprisingly great quality picture for the price when you consider it also includes the 12GB SD card and is also a half decent Bluetooth speaker as well as a good digital clock with alarm. It’s fairly compact and quite stylish/modern looking and the build quality seems decent.
Great if you would like extra peace of mind for a baby room/your nursery for child-sitters or for an elderly relatives room at a care home etc and would recommend as impressed with it so far.
I’m afraid i haven’t used or needed to use the hidden camera and so can’t comment on that, however, as a clock and bluetooth device it works well and is very stylish.
However, this shouldn’t be too obvious unless you’re actively looking for it. The one downside is set up with the app. The instructions are clearly translated, and require a little brain power to decipher. The app is pretty awful. nothing is quick, and the intuitive parts to press do not seem to go where you want. For example, the device recommends you change the password, but it doesn’t to change. WiFi connecting is hit and miss.
Once it’s all set up, it works well. There are various image quality image settings and up to 20 minute recordings at a time. It all comes with a 64Gb microSD card.
All in all pretty good if you can get past the awful app.

I ordered this because I liked the hidden camera feature. I actually didn’t think the camera would truly be hidden, you can almost always see the camera eye on similar devices. Well, with this clock, the camera truly is hidden! You can’t see it at all when you look at the clock; it looks like a normal digital alarm clock. You actually have to look closely to see the camera; it is well hidden! When I took a pic with the flash on, it showed the camera. But when you simply see the clock sitting on the table, or wherever, you can’t see it at all.
Now, when it came time to test it after 30 VERY frustrating minutes, I was ready to give this only 2 stars because I could not get the camera to work. I downloaded the app, and thought I was following the directions, but nothing I tried could get the camera to show up on the “devices” list of the app. The issue wasn’t a problem with the camera/clock or the app. It was 100% user error. I learned that after taking a break from trying to get it to work, calming down and following their instruction exactly.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. Watch the video on the product info page.
2. Follow the steps exactly as shown on video and outlined in the instruction booklet.
3. Connect to the camera wifi, even though it says “without internet”.
4. Add device while you are connected to Camama.
5. Connect camama to home wifi once you have successfully added it on the app. You have to be able to add the device to the app in order to be able to control the device with the app.
6. Once connected, your camera will work like a charm! You can go back to your home wifi and control the camera with the app on your phone.
Once I got the camera to work, it worked great. There was no sign that it was a camera either, no light or sound came from the clock at all to give an indication that there was a camera in it. The camera came to life whenever it detected motion, and alerted me through the app. I really like the hidden feature of the camera because I think it would be perfect for use as a nanny cam, care home cam, in the office or work area, or for anywhere you want to keep a secure eye. I know that nanny cams are controversial to some people. But I have been a professional nanny for a few decades, and I have no issues at all with nanny cams. I don’t even mind the hidden camera, and would use them myself. If you have a nanny or childminder that would not be happy with a camera in the house, then you do NOT want that person around your children. The same goes with caregivers for the elderly.

You can tell your dog “off” or remind your kids “don’t do that” then laugh when they look around for you.
I am very happy with this camera clock, and seriously impressed by how well it works for the price point. I think this is a great one to consider for anyone looking for a nanny cam, or to keep an eye on caregivers in the home. Hopefully you never see anything untoward, but better safe than sorry!
