Bought as squirrels had destroyed my previous 2 sunflower heart feeders. Yes I know I could buy a squirrel.proof feeder but I like to feed them too. As this is mostly made of metal, no chance they can chew it. Good perches for the birds too.

I bought this for my Grandmother and she loved it and loved seeing the birds use it in her garden. The metal material was great as it makes it last longer in the elements. Great value for money! It was very sturdy and easy to use when putting in the bird seed!

Not good in the damp or wet – Sunflower hearts get wet, feed trays have no drainage holes and clog up the feed trays and feed slots so have to be manually cleared. Well made and looks good.

I really like this, it is fairly priced and good quality.

For a few days I could see from the kitchen that the bird seed was going down – looking at the window in the feeder but never saw a bird using it. Some time later I’ve had to refill it several times already and caught plenty of coal tits, blue tits and sparrows using it.
