Bought these cause I needed two pairs so thought if they are OK I’ll get a second pair. Main reason for buying these was the claim of them being water proof. As such I expected the toung to be attached full to the shoe so no water can get in by the shoe laces. This is not the case. I kept them cause one out of the two pairs I wanted to buy the second did not need to be waterproof but never ordered my second pair. Only other issue is that the laces can’t be easily pulled to tighten the shoe. Other than that. For the money they are pretty good quality.
Had a walk through some damp fields and my feet were wet after an hour of walking. Hadn’t stepped in any puddles.
Colour’s nice, very comfortable (when dry!) and good grips on sole. Lightweight and good fit.
For someone who does very little hiking, I found them very comfortable to wear. Reasonably water resistant, but if anything gets above the bottom of the shoe, you’re going to get damp feet!
Didn’t think these shoes could be much good considering their price but was pleasantly surprised when I got them out of the box. If you’re looking for a pair of general run arounds these might be for you.
I bought my daughter these for her Duke of Edinburgh award. No blisters, comfortable, warm, somewhat waterproof. Waterproof when walking through wet grass but not when she crossed small brooks, which is what I thought anyway to be honest. Lightweight.
Very comfy, waterproof, and good grip across muddy ground. I got my normal size which fit fine with normal socks but if you’ll be wearing thick socks then maybe size up by half. Great value for the quality.
I bought these shoes for a 26k hike recently. They were really comfortable and did not rub anywhere despite wearing them for the first time. I would suggest getting half a size bigger than what you would normally wear and my only criticism of these shoes is that they didn’t have a 6.5 shoe so I bought a 6 as I thought the 7 would be too big and they did cause bruising to my 2 big toenails from the downhill walking. Otherwise a really good shoe. They need to do half sizes in every size and I would have given 5 stars
I think the picture shade is slightly different to actual colour. More purple than rose. 5.5 size is snug. I perhaps should have got a 6. Comfortable inside so hopefully I won’t need an insole anyway. Look well put together.
