This is a great plug extension unit it has 8x sockets plus 4x USB plug sockets in todays world this is a must certainly very useful in our modern family living room. Also has a pretty good extension length cable. Highly recommended!
This is good. Unfortunately I didn’t pay attention and the lead to main sockets was not long enough but my own fault. Will use in another room. These are great for space saving.

This is a squat, surge protected tower. It has eight mains sockets and 4 USB sockets.
It is important to realise that the total of all the appliances connected must be below 13 Amps, so don’t use it with electric heaters or tumble driers and expect other devices not to overload it. This is the same for all extensions leads. To find the Amperage of an appliance divide its Wattage by 240, so a 720 Watt gaming PC uses 3 Amps from your total of 13. If you do overload it, then an automated cut-off will shut down all the power to all the appliances.
There are a pair of small and faint LEDs that tell you whether the mains is connected and if the surge protection is still functioning.
The square arrangement of the mains sockets around the tower means that power supplies are unlikely to get in the way of other sockets, unlike a lot of other designs. The two ordinary USB connections and the USB-C connectors are on one side, but are widely spaced enough that USB cables shouldn’t get in the way of each other.
There is are mounting slots that would make it possible to mount the base onto a wall, although I personally think a flat mains extension would be much better for that.
There is only one power switch on top of it for all of the sockets. The switch needs a bit of force to make it work, but it does glow clearly when it is on. That’s good for knowing whether it’s on, but not so great if you use it in a bedroom and don’t want a night light all night.
Bought this product for my sons room so he can obtain power to all his devices. Its an excellent product contain the USB ports so he can always have his phone and controllers charging
This is perfect for what I needed. I am really happy with how compact and well made it is. The addition of the usb and usb-c ports mean I don’t have to have as many mains plugs plugged in for charging phones etc. Also the handy button on top makes it quick and easy to turn on and off. Definitely very useful!
Love the ease of using this design as opposed to the length type; taking up less space is so much better. Have sited on my bedside table hidden behind a photo frame and with the USB ports it is so much easier to charge mobiles without fumbling about on the floor as with old type adapters that require a plug to use for USB connection. The addition of the control switch at top of the tower is also easier to access when switching off rather than leaving sockets on standby. Would definitely recommend and purchase again for use in other rooms.
It’s a very discreet, compact solution that sits behind my desk out of sight. The addition of USB charging connectors is also very good. I can understand the appeal of a straight panel of plugs but it makes for a very long device. These things are much more compact.
It’s a pretty sturdy hard plastic design in black. It’s not pretty and you might not want it in eye sight – but we’re talking plug extension here (none of them are exactly attractive). As for value for money? Well it does the job and the price is competitive, it has nice extra features and it’s very practical.
This appears to have be a good choice with the convenience of 8 sockets & included usb charging ports too. Power switch incorporated into unit top is handy.
Love that it’s upright leaving lots of space for those big plugs/transformersa def bonus & it’s tidier too.
The 2 annoying things I found is that the sockets are a little stiff, I have to push hard to get the plugs in and pull hard when wanting to unplug a device. Second issue is the sockets are a little too close to each other, as some devices have bulky plugs and I couldn’t use all the sockets on 1 side due to this spacing issue.
Other than that, its great, looks nice and does the job. The 4 USB slots came in handy and the long cord is a good thing too. All in all it does what we wanted so can’t complain.
