Tupwoon Overhead Phone Stand for Desk, [Reinforced Stable
Tupwoon Overhead Phone Stand for Desk, [Reinforced Stable Base] Adjustable Height Phone Dock, Aluminum Alloy Extendable Phone Holder Compatible with iPhone, Kindle, Tablet for Filming & Live Streaming
This is just as described – very sturdy and of good quality. My daughter likes to borrow this to make videos and we have both found it really easy to use.
This item is amazing !!! I was looking for a ring light from this company and saw this on offer for cheaper and let me tell youuu this has completely changed the game for me as a TikTok content creator. I’m also a binge movie freak n this stand holds my iPhone 14 pro max without any problems. It’s grip, movement ability and how sturdy it is needs praising
The product is great for the price. The only downside is that it isn’t very tall/high so I found standing it on a tin gives it the extra height needed. Extremely easy to put together. Cheap, easy and serves its purpose well. I only wish it was taller or had the capacity to stretch taller in height.
Really easy to adjust it, amazing quality. I’ve ordered so many different ones before but this is the first and only one which is actually properly working and Really good quality. Highly recommend it !
If you’re someone that creates content for social media then I think this is really handy as you’re able to manipulate the stand numerous ways to be able to record yourself like doing art/creating products/cooking food, it’s all freehand. Also you’re able to film directly on, handy for selfies. You can also use to place phone or tablets/iPhones to be able to watch things on. Very stable and sturdy. The frame seems very strong.
The best way to take a stable photo is using both hands. However, there are times when I find it necessary to hold my phone in one hand so that I can use the other hand to support an object at a particular angle, etc. I decided to buy the ‘Tupwoon Overhead Phone Stand for Desk’ as I believed it would resolve my problem.
It arrived securely boxed with instructions on the back of the box and also in a separate User Manual. The base and extendable rod are made of metal; the total weight of the stand is 460 grams (0.46kg). The overall setup was straightforward. However, I found it difficult to fully insert the rod into the notch/opening on top of the base.
I was able to insert my (6.4-inch display) mobile phone into the phone clip. Unfortunately, in order to accomplish this, its slim protective case had to be removed. The supporting arm was sturdy and the ‘ball head’ was responsive. I felt confident that my phone would not slip out of the clip. Taking overhead (hands-free) photos and even videos for my Amazon reviews are now possible! As a bonus, the rubberised section on the base was able to support my iPad Pro 10.5 both vertically and horizontally.
The Tupwoon Overhead Phone Stand for Desk is a must-have accessory for anyone who spends a lot of time filming or live streaming. This adjustable height phone dock is made from high-quality aluminum alloy and is compatible with a range of devices, including iPhones, Kindles, and tablets.
One of the standout features of this phone stand is its adjustability. The stand can be extended to different heights, making it easy to position your phone at the perfect angle for filming or live streaming. The stand also features a rotating head, so you can easily switch between portrait and landscape mode.
The phone holder itself is also well-designed, with a non-slip grip that keeps your device secure and stable. The holder is also adjustable, making it easy to fit a range of different devices.
Overall, I highly recommend the Tupwoon Overhead Phone Stand for Desk. It’s a well-designed and highly functional accessory that will greatly enhance your filming and live streaming experience. Whether you’re a professional content creator or just someone who enjoys making videos for fun, this phone stand is sure to make your life easier and your videos better.
One of the best phone holders that I got.
It comes well-packed with all the bits, it feels sturdy and it’s well-made and durable.
Was easy to instal on my desk and fits my phone perfectly well
Moves quickly and stays put in that position without any vibration and such
This phone clamp works great with my iPhone to keep it steady. It’s well made and looks and feels a good quality. Overall It works well for my application. Recommended.
I’ve found this incredibly helpful, I’ve been doing videos for reviews, cooking etc. This stand is absolutely fantastic for getting overhead shots, better than a tripod as you don’t have legs or anything in frame. The only thing is if you bend the phone grip out, it can be a little top heavy so I’ve been putting something on the base to hold it down. Otherwise its really helpful, can go quite high, well made and solid. Can’t fault it, I’ve been really enjoying it and found it much better than any tripods etc I’ve used. Very easy to assemble and doesn’t take up too much room. Definitely recommend.

I sometimes record board game ths stand is perfect overhead shot. Easy to set up, tripod umbrella opening. I recommend this tripod.
Pros
– Umbrella opening
– Strudy
Cons
– Bit of a gadget gadget, not necessity
The clamp is really well designed & allows fixing to a various size. it holds iPhone 14 pro max perfectly. And the metal base is good enough to hold the stand. The flexible neck is long enough for most requirements & holds the phone securely.
But the post is made by plastic so it looks like not durable to use long period.
The phone stand is high quality made
Easy to put together
Easy to use
Lightweight
Very sturdy
Compact so easy to travel with
Excellent for filming
Definitely value for money and i highly recommend
The stand is really well made and put together.
Easy to assemble on arrival it has a solid heavy base so no fear of it toppling over. It’s perfect for my son who likes to video call his friends when he’s gaming.
The stand is easily adjustable vertically and horizontally and once in position it’s secure.
Everything about it is very good I just think its let down by the actual phone mount. A quick release ratchet style mount would be far better as the current one is quite fiddly to use and can be hard to get your phone in being spring loaded – my son struggles to use it and I have to put his phone in for him.
As usual, the package arrived very quickly from Amazon.
This Tupwoon Black Aluminium Alloy Extendable Phone and Tablet Stand, arrived packaged in moulded plastic in a cardboard box, also inside the box is a User Manual.
I have been meaning to get another decent phone and tablet stand for a while, so when I saw this one, I thought that’s just what I’ve been looking for, so ordered it.
When I unboxed it, I had a little problem pushing the upright in, but as you can see in my video, it needs a really good push to get it all the way down to the bottom of the base, once I did put it together, it looked even better than the pictures in the listing (see my unboxing video).
Looking at this matt black metal phone stand with a grey base, you can see at once it is really well made. When I picked it up I liked the weight, it was comfortably heavy, and looked really well engineered, and really stable. I also like that I can charge my phone while it is in the stand.
I placed my 6.6 inch screen phone in the stand and it fitted easily even with the phone case on. Next I tried my 10 inch tablet on the tablet stand on the bottom, it also sat nicely and didn’t slip because of the silicone protrusions that keep it in place, and the tablet is quite stable which surprised me. The only little niggle I have is I wish the upright part of the stand where you lean a tablet against, had some sort of silicone protection, because when I lean my tablet on it, you can hear the cluck of metal on metal, and I thing over time the paint might wear off the stand or it will scratch the back of my tablet, I will have to try and find a little strip of sticky back silicone in black to stick to the stand, saying that, this would not prevent me from recommend it.
The stand has rubber pads underneath it to protect anything you place it on, and also to help stop it from moving.
Also when I make video calls, the phone is normally standing on a table, and the view the other person gets is not very good, this phone stand lifts it off the table to head height and I can also adjust it to the perfect angle, and the person on the other end isn’t looking up my nose anymore.
At the time of writing this review the price is 19.99, but at the moment there is a 30% discount voucher bringing the price down to 13.99
The squares on the table I use when photographing and videoing items are 1cm squares, you can use them to help you judge the size of items I photograph.
I hope you have found this review and video helpful.
This is weighty phone/tablet stand. It came in a box and quick assembly was required. When I tried to fit in the long pole into the stand, firstly i wasn’t sure which direction should I put it into the base. Then i realised after looking at the photos that the tightening knob needs to be on the right side so I forced in the pole into the base. In my opinion there should be some screw holding it together as if looking from the bottom, there is hole for screw which goes throughout the base and the pole itself. The base is heavy, solid, suitable for the tablet thanks to the wide gaps and rubber obstacles which prevent tablet from sliding off the stand.
The actual phone holding clamp is good if we put the phone horizontally, otherwise its difficult to fit a phone in, especially any bigger phones. There shpuld be different system for the clamp, system I could manage doing by one hand, just like in the car phone holder which has quick release button on the back.
All in all, this is stable stand for two devices at the same time. It’s good quality but some small improvement could make it perfect.
This has a mixture of plastic and metal parts and assembles very quickly to produce a height adjustable sturdy stand with rubber feet.
The phone clamp extends pretty wide and has edge protection built in.
The stand is ideal for video calling, watching something on screen or holding your phone stable whilst you film
This stand will take your attached phone up to a good face height from a desk. I’d have preferred taller TBH to peep above my monitor, but no joy. It sits beside the monitor instead and takes more room than ideal. The build and overall design is good. It goes together fine and has good adjustment. All in, a good item.
Easy to put together and made of high quality materials. The stand is nice and chunky so you don’t have to fear that it will fall over. However, the actual phone holder could really benefit from a quick release mechanism, as it’s really cumbersome putting the phone in and out. Otherwise, a good product.
The video goes into much more detail, including demonstrating in upright and top-down modes, showing the tablet stand in action as well as giving an overview of everything you get in the box.
However, in a nutshell:
Things I liked:
+ Well thought through. Functional in the ways I need it to be – flexible angles thanks to the ball and socket joining and a reversible design.
+ Very reasonable price – 13 after vouchers applied.
Things I didn’t like:
– Would have liked the bar to have been metal, but at this price point, that’s not really an issue and it’s good to have the centre of gravity as low as possible too.
Do I recommend it?
Definitely. Really versatile and excellent value.
This stand is easy enough to use and the base weighs a bough that it’s still and sturdy when your phone is in it. The phone holder spins and bends allowing you to change the angle of your phone and making it great for filming things from above.
I am a little concerned about the quality of the pile though, when adjusting the phone the part that can be raised up snapped very loudly and is now a little wiggly, but I can’t see any damage and it does still stay up and hold the phone in place.
Overall this item works well but may not be the best quality out there. If you’re looking for a budget option though I would still recommend this.
This stand is built for phones with height and tilt adjustments. Comes in 3 pieces which easily assembles together. It wont fit an ipad at the top and the base does seem to secure well together so would on use at a desk.
Very stable phone holder and great for video calls while homeworking. The arm to hold the phone can be tilted downwards too which is great for making ‘how to’ videos from above where you’re working and looking downwards and my son wants one of his own for his videos. Much better than the bendy arm clamp thing he uses now. Reasonably priced too.
It took me a little longer to put together than I expected but maybe I should have read the well written instructions more carefully. I have an iPhone 13 max in a rubber bumper case and it just about fitted. The base is well designed and has the weight to keep it sturdy, the ball and socket clip is a little lightweight but gave me plenty of flexibility to mount the phone and position it. I do a lot of calls and this was ideal for zoom etc via my phone
It also has an additional use for anyone with low vision, I directed the camera towards the base and then used a mag app to scan and read text from a book, viewing it on the screen, very useful to stabilise the phone for text.
This is quite a useful stand but not as good as I hoped it would be. It’s really difficult to get the post to lock into the base so it keeps falling off when I move it. The jaws to hold the device don’t open massively wide and I had to take my case off my phone to use it. Once you get the stand set exactly where you want it and camera/phone set up as long as you don’t move it about it does exactly what you expect it to do.
