Really needed an adapter for a long time, this seemed reasonable and it is. Does the job well. It’s compact stays in the laptop bag hidden away for the times I need it.
Uses one USB C socket to create a HDMI and two USB sockets! Very useful… but do check that your PC will output HDMI via USB C, as I have one that does (Lenovo) and one that won’t (an Acer), but either way this little gadget is proving very useful for having multiple screens.
I got this adapter to connect my Google Pixel 6 phone to my TV so that I can look at my pictures and videos on the TV. It looks very sleek and lightweight and has three port options which work together – one USB3.0 port for connecting any USB device, one HDMI port to connect to TV or external monitor and one USB-c port for charging.
This is also helpful while travelling or in office when you may need to present something from your laptop to a bigger screen.
Overall very happy with the item.
I really needed one of these because my new work laptop only has USB-C ports, but no old style USB or HDMI ports! I mean, how do they expect us to connect our mice and monitors up when working from home? This is portable too, so it fits in your pocket or laptop bag without being bulky. It doesn’t require external power source like some other docks do. It also has a USB-C port on it, so plugging it in doesn’t take away one of your USB-C ports. Genius!
Works as expected and good value for money. This is particularly handy for my chrome book as it does not have an inbuilt hdmi port. Makes swapping between laptops easier.
