Works brilliantly to connect my Macbook Air to my monitor. It also charges the MacBook which is a plus.

The cable is very sturdy and strong and feels like it will last some years.

A stupidly small thing but the velcro tie that came with the cable means the cable can be coiled tidily under the monitor, while plugged into my spare HDMI port so it’s far more likely to be used rather than lost as its predecessor was.

Very sturdy and well-built and doesn’t feel cheap. Has been tested with an iPad Pro 11″, Macbook Pro (2016), iPhone 15 Pro, Asus Note & Thinkpad and works perfectly for its intended use. The image and sound are crystal clear with no flickering or cutting out and the HDMI part of the wire doesn’t get too hot when in use.

My only gripe would be that if you have a TV mounted to the wall it can be difficult to plug this in with enough space if your HDMI connection is directly at the back of the TV Unit. Other than that I highly recommend it.

I have used this cable to watch phone and tablet content on my large screen TV.
The cable allowed content from our S10 and S20 mobiles. Once you get past Samsungs DEX app you can mirror your screen with perfect picture quality and no sound latency like when wirelessly mirroring.
The cable seems robust enough and appears well made.
I still feel that 11.99 is a little steep for a cable.

This a USB-C to HDMI 2.0 cable perfect for external monitors from laptops etc. Its is braided with bolstered collars on either end to prevent cable bending fatigue where the cable meets the connectors.

The connectors are a good quality metal sheath and they look great too!

Personally I think they are cracking value and they match all my other similar cables.

    Recommended!

This works nicely between anything with a USB-C port (phone, PC etc) and a monitor.

No drivers required, just plug it in and away you go.

It looks and feels like a decent cable too, if that’s important to you.

    Recommended.

The Cable works exactly as it should. Its well made and should last well. Tried it on 3 different TVs and 2 monitors using 3 different mobile phones, 2 laptops and 2 tablets. All worked really well and the transfer speeds and video quality were all excellent. Impressive.

I was looking for a USB C-HDMI cable to use with my new laptop, so I was pleased to review this item.
Most important, it works perfectly – I am using it now to write this review.

    A few key features:
    – 2m long, enabling flexibility of distance between input and display
    – strong braided outer cover for wear resistance

As a small but very good bonus, this item comes with a velcro cable tie, not a twisted wire fastener. This is reusable hundreds of times, and in particular it enables you to quickly coil and shorten the cable if you don’t need the full 2m length.

Thoroughly recommended to connect USB C video-out devices like modern laptops to HDMI displays.

Finally a plug and play solution for adding additional screens to a laptop.

No drivers, no third party apps, literally just plug this into a screen and plug the other end into your laptop’s USB-C port and voila!

Currently using this to connect a 1080P Dell screen and it’s been fantastic, no issues. Can’t speak for using any higher resolution screen but it’s done well at 1080p.

Braided design here as with most cables these days. It has a good amount of flex which is nice to see but there is a lot of it. Maybe opt for a shorter length if you’re using this at a desk and laptop combo like myself, I ended up with quite a lot of slack under my desk. Can’t complain to much though as it’s allowed me to finally get a 2nd screen up and running. 5*!

A good quality usb-c to HDMI cable.

These types of cables are perfect for when your laptop doesnt have an HDMI output or when you wish to supplement an existing output with a second one to an additional monitor.

Tested from a laptop to a 27inch monitor and it all worked fine with crips and clear picture.

The cable is well made, braided for resilience, and the cable joins to connectors are protected.

Includes a handy velcro cable tidy.

As everything is going USB C these days, I thought I would try this cable to connect my USB C equipped MacBook Air to my TV, without using adapters.

What I can say is that it worked perfectly and instantly, as soon as the laptop was connected to the TV. The picture quality and sound are excellent. The cable is braided and of sufficient thickness to suggest it will have a decent life and the connectors appear to also be of good quality, fitting the laptop and TV ports without problem and a snug fit. It is around 2 meters in length which was sufficient for my purposes.

The packaging states it has a lifetime warranty for possible quality problems and also states that it comes with a 12 month warranty and provides contact details for the UK importer. At the time of writing, the price is just over 10, which I think is very reasonable for a quality cable.

The cable feels sturdy and fits snugly into the sockets at each end. The picture quality is great when displaying 4k content on a TV. It looks and feels like a good quality cable.

I work between locations, usually I have a dock to plug my Macbook into but recently I’ve had to use desks I don’t usually use and this has been great to connect my Macbook to a monitor using HDMI. Although my Macbook has an HDMI port, USB is much smaller so having a smaller end means it takes up less space inmy bag! Also, I can use this with other laptops I have that don’t have an HDMI port.

Personally, I prefer to use a dock (one cable for power and monitors) but if you find yourself needing to connect a device to a monitor then this works brilliantly as HDMI is pretty much standard on all display input devices from monitors to TVs.

The cable length is generous at 2m, but if you’re using a desk set-up then you may want to opt for a shorter cable to reduce the amount of excess cable. But 2m is perfect for a connecting to a TV if you want to use it as a display.

A great value cable with a good sized length. Plugged into my TV with no problems, and will be useful in my car to play films onto the head unit.

Solid looking build, with a nice little wrap to keep everything in place when not in use. Overall happy with this product, would certainly recommend for the money.

The transmission of audio and video is seamless, with sharp and clear images on my TV screen. This cable has become an essential part of my home entertainment setup, and I appreciate the reliability it offers. A great purchase for anyone looking to connect their USB-C device to a larger screen hassle-free!

As the listing says, these type of cables only work with devices that have a DP-Alt mode and that does not include recent M1 and M2 MacBooks as they do not support this – the listing could perhaps be clearer in saying that it doesn’t support those so people don’t mistakenly buy.

But if you have an other type of device that does support it, then its a decent cable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Buy if you have a compatible laptop, etc.

This is a USB-C to HDMI cable, allowing you to connect a USB-C port to a HDMI monitor or TV. *Note* – the PC or mobile device MUST support video over USB-C, not all do. In addition, many computers only support a set number of displays due to hardware limitations, this cable cannot overcome that.

Tested on a Macbook Pro connected to a 2K monitor and a Surface laptop connected to a 1080p monitor, no issues seen on either. As with any purely digital display, it is perfect, with not shimmering or artefacts.

The cable is well made, with the connector housings made from an extruded aluminium, and braided cables used. The connector housing for the HDMI end is quite long, and on one of my monitors means the cable is just visible under the screen.

A small velcro strap is included, which is handy to keep the cable tidy if you only use occasionally, or can be used to strap the cable to other cables at the back of the monitor for a neat permanent install, which is a nice touch.

5.0 out of 5 stars High quality, braided USB-C to HDMI cable
