Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI used to use “mouse jiggler” USB dongles, but their drivers always caused issues with my computers, over time. Never right at first, but after a few weeks or months there would be constant problems.

This product has no driver, and just “distracts” the mouse for a few seconds every few minutes (adjustable) by rotating the textured center disc. My mouse detects the movement of the disc, and the pointer tracks across the screen. It’s great for keeping my session online while I am in the lab or otherwise called away from my desk.

I have bought four different mouse jigglers now. Most of them made some noise and eventually got fairly loud. This one has been great so far, and I can’t even hear it when things are completely silent. The other part I like is that this is very low profile, making it easy to store on my desk to some of the thicker ones I’ve bought.

Cons: The LED is a little hard to see unless it’s shining on something in front of it, and instead of a power button, I wish it was a switch; it just makes it easier to tell if it’s on or off. I also wish the sides had some sort of short wall to prevent the mouse from being knocked off. I ended up taping the mouse to the jiggler to make sure I didn’t accidentally do that.

This is a good mouse jiggler because it’s low profile, which saves space, and is completely silent. For the price, you get quality parts and construction.

The compact mouse mover is a solidly built gadget designed to keep your computer awake by simulating mouse movements. While it effectively ensures that your PC remains online, the movement patterns it generates are far from natural—reminiscent more of erratic twitches than deliberate gestures. Despite this, for anyone looking to maintain an active screen presence without manual intervention, this device offers a practical solution.

I’ve had it for two weeks and love it! I switch between two laptops and hate having to enter my password all the time. This has been a very helpful tool!

A recommander chaudement.

I bought this jiggler for my wife’s office and she is delighted.
It was very frustrating that the laptop goes to sleep every time she works on paperwork or needs to move away from the laptop.

JIggler is very simplistic, plug it in and that’s it.
It is recognized by the system as a mouse.
When turned on it will move cursor left-right (no patterns like some other alternatives)

Only thing that might be better is LED which is not very visible unless you stick this jiggler in a vertical position. But this is not really a big deal.

If you ask me if I’m designing a jiggler, what would I like to see, I’d say a bit smarter logic. For example after the user is inactive for a few minutes (would be cool to be configurable) then to jiggler to turn on automatically _before_ OS/system goes to lock or sleep state. Wouldn’t that be cool? SInce sometimes you just forget to turn it on, and when you’re back, guess what – you need to login again. World problems 🙂

Overall a very good device, really nothing much negative

For those who work at companies with people watching your online status like a hawk, this is a great little device. Extremely easy to use, works, and doesn’t need to be plugged into your computer.

It works good as it is supposed to be. Thin, portable, silent and it seems to be undetectable. However, I plugged it in another laptop not the one from my work. It was well packed and everything is operational. In the box is the Mose mover, power cable and user guide. I just started using it, so cannot give thorough feedback. For now, I’m satisfied!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was skeptical after reading more than a few product reviews so I purchased this and tried it myself. So far so good. It does what it’s supposed to do. There 3 settings 10seconds, 30seconds and 3mintues a long with a random button so you can flip between them. I’ve used 10 and 30 seconds and they work fine. I always double check to make sure the mouse is centered and it’s moving and i am good to go. Any device or gadget has a small learning curve and getting use to it. A lifesaver.

Purchase for my husband when he started a partly remote job. Give him peace of mind when he needs to run downstairs and feed the kids lunch or settle an argument!

Arrived on time and in good packaging. Easy to install (just plug in). I use this on a regular basis for work so they don’t know when I am away.

Downside to this model is that it does not have multiple options. For instance I bought one with a timer and multiple types of “jiggle”. This lacks those features, but is very cost effective.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersTried a different style / brand and was unhappy so I got this version. Works like a charm. This is a lifesaver for remote workers – often times your computer will go to sleep or lock when you’re in the middle of a call or a long meeting. Not to mention, some of us can be found working on or monitoring multiple computers. This keeps your computer active and you don’t have to keep jiggling the mouse to make sure everything stays on.

It’s stable, silent and doesn’t need to be plugged into a computer. Just plug it into a socket and away you go. Easy and intuitive buttons. Well worth the money.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis product does exactly what it’s supposed to do. There are 3 time settings on it and another that shuffles between them. The only issue I ran into was that my mouse was physically being moved by the mover to a point that the mouse wouldn’t move on screen because of the light weight of the mouse. I found that you needed to place these lighter weighted mice in the perfect spot. Other than that, it’s a great product that does work.

I’ve used the mouse mover for about a week. It is silent so you never know it’s on unless you’re looking at your screen watching a slow moving pointer. I like the on/off option as well as the intervals for movement. I;ve tried it set to 30s and 10s. I have a logitech mouse and the mouse mover has kept the status as ‘available’ while it sat on the mover. Perfect solution to WFH breaks.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSince I use a trackball, i set this up with an optical mouse. It works, is quiet, and very compact.

Unfortunately when it’s running, which is for 15 seconds, it will interfere with my ability to click and select items with my trackball. So for my use case it won’t work. If you are willing to place your mouse on this pad each time only when needed, and don’t mind the cursor going on a long walk, it should work fine. A shorter duration might have worked for me, but this is not adjustable for movement.

I have a usb fob jiggler that moves the cursor such a small amount it doesn’t interfere like this does- that works better for me. It only moves the cursor a few pixels and can be plugged in all the time. If that solution doesn’t work for you then this product might be a good choice for you.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI am not sure why I had such a hard time getting this to turn on for the first time, but I did. It took several attempts to get the “on” button and lights to work, but I haven’t had any trouble since then. Seems to work great now.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersThis item was recommended by a colleague who has a manager who seems to watch for anyone to go yellow on Teams and then confront them regarding their productivity. Thankfully I am not in that situation but I thought I would get this anyway. I was a bit skeptical when making this purchase but for the price I figured I would give it a shot.

The shipping was fast and the packaging was as I would expect. All you need to do is plug the mouse mover in (either to an outlet or to another computer, I wouldn’t plug it into the work laptop), place your mouse on it and the mouse will move along your screen. The mover is not obstructive in anyway, so I can keep my mouse on it and still continue to work. The only issue with leaving your mouse on the mover is that your mouse will move on your screen while your working, so you’ll want to be mindful of that if/when screensharing, etc. The mover has three settings so you can indicate how often you want it to move, you can do 10, 30 or 3 minute intervals. For the price, I highly recommend!
